No one has beef against him, hes not a popular figure, so he will get a pass.

Rubiales case was an issue of someone that they wanted to roast before, he now used palm oil to rub his body to make the roasting easier grin

We all know that Spanish womens team has had issue way before the world cupwith their Coach and FA president who refused to support them and was defending the coach against them.
On a normal day that issue no suppose cause anything major as it happened in a moment of celebration and there was no bad intention behind it. The girls saw an opportunity to get back at those guys and they took it to the maximum. I respect them for that grin

Going foward, those girls have already proven a point to the hierachy within the FA and they will take their concerns serious moving foward.
Well...you made a nice point.

All i know is that uefa go soon change this UWCL format. Doesn't make sense. Now as Arsenal don jaa, big money don go with them

Semifinals last season
Non participating this new season
What a spin

It all just proves she's Paris FC's Most valuable player. Chiamaka Nnadozie
Arsenal really messed up. With Viv and Mead back, and with the acquisition of Russo and Cordina... I was expecting them to go all the way. They really fumbled eh.

On Gabu....

Earlier in the game, the Gunners star was on the receiving end of a horror challenge from Bolivia's Diego Ibanez in the fifth minute..but he continued till 80th minute.. he was spotted with an ice on his thigh..after being substituted..Physical therapy doctor, Dr. Rajpal Brar, provided a brief update on his initial assessment of the injury..which he said it a thigh issue...but unsure if its a contact issue or a muscle pull...Brar later provided another update: "Based on what multiple people have told me, sounds contact related. Overall good news."..so guys stay cool...nothing big to worry about...let's wait for Brazil vs Peru on 13th where we will get a clear picture of what is going on...

He is really pushing to displace Zinchenko on the inverted LB.
He played as LCB not LB. Man is just so complete. Can cover the entire backline aside GK.

I just pray he stays injury free this season.

Jodera:
Lemme talk about our Corner kicks I've observed so far.

Last season and the season before that, our corner have been very effective and dangerous(we've been using inswinging crosses using Inverted crossers) but this season it's been entirely different.

I noticed that we've changed pattern this season. We're more playing it at the near post and hoping that our players slug it out with our opponents in the near post which is the dangerous zone hoping that if we win the ball it'll have a high chance of ending at the back of the net (hypothetically 90% of the time).

While I understand the logic but it's certainly not working at all. We had 25+ corners across the four matches and if I'm not mistaken, it took us until the last match(against Man u) before we could win our first ball header through a cross.

Simply put, all the crosses have failed to beat the first man(or opposition players) probably because our players are too slow or not positioned in strategic place to win the first ball headers. Also, most of the crosses have been poor as it isn't accurately delivered height-wise.
We had to change back to our default corner tactics before we could start winning headers and consequently got the second goal through Declan Rice.

While I understand we need to get different tactics with corners, I feel we shouldn't do away with what was seriously working for us so far.

Sometimes mixing the two won't be bad, but my opinion should be that this new corner tactics should be our Option B and not A

COYG!!!
You noticed the corner routines too? Wow.... I think the recent absence of Gabi is why we have not looked dangerous during CKs so far this season. Moreso, the kickers need to up their kicks too. Another aspect I want us to work on is the outside shots especially curlers. Martinelli is the main culprit here... While Saka has been effective, Martinelli has been poor.

Upon all our wailings Jodera, Kai was called up to German NT. What are they seeing that we are not? I hope we get to see him play actually and assess his performance outside Arsenal shirt.
Kai will always get a call up na. Just like Nacho(super eagles). That doesn't take away his woeful performance in the last two games.

If Toru doesn't start, he needs to come on for at least 30 minutes. He is one player I'm looking forward to watch in this upcoming match. Our defence is kinda light quality-wise, we don't just know. And Bassey should face his LB position.

BTW, I wonder what must be going on in the mind of Sao Tome's coach. Boniface, Osimehn, Awoniyi and Orban against his team is something that is scary. I wish I can say the same about our Midfield and defence.

They nominated Bellingham, who bottled the Bundesliga. Even Musiala.

But they didn't nominate Ter Stegen, Pedri, FDJ & Koundé who won LaLiga by breaking records on Madrid's head.

Unbelievable. Shocking.
Not vex

I really wish we have the depth at the RW like we have on the left wing.

At the right wing, we have the wide forward type 5 (Martinelli), we have the proper winger (Nelson) and we have the creative one (Trossard). Saka alone combines this three but he need a backup. Make interhouse cup start asap make we see Lucky Dube.

Jorginho has been a big brother and a true Arsenal dressing room leader.

This man is really enjoying his time with Arsenal. Jorginho couldn't even focus on the warm-up to prepare to be thrown into the match, but he celebrated hysterically when Declan Rice scored.

The midfielder also continuously directed, shouted to encourage his teammates not to give up when the match was not over. No different from an assistant coach outside the touchline.

Jorginho's role seems to be getting bigger and bigger at the Emirates Stadium. Really admire the behavior and dedication of this man.

Your thoughts...

Let's just leave Saka cuz I remembered last season, something like this happened at the beginning of season where he missed some goals and some thought he's loosing his mojo only for the dude to pick up almost immediately..

So in one word, Saka na Tiger generator wey dey get plug problem when you wan start am but immediately it starts, no going back.

I know Havertz will start. Like I said, I can manage that a bit as long as our back 4 is not touched or Partey doesn't play RB.

If you watch our ball ystdy, you'll know he was our only weak link. Prior to ystdy match, we had so many weak links even though we were dominating.

Isn't it surprising that it was only ystdy match that we weren't under pressure during the dying minutes. That's what you get when your core or solidity of a team is present.
Hopefully Partey is back against Everton. Na pity I just dey pity this Havertz. Man is not even trying at all.... Truly, I did say we should give him time and even tried to justify why we signed him. However, since that backpass against Fulham, I don comot hand. For the sake of our 65m, I hope.he clicks.
