They banned nairaland for 4 days because of the unseriousness of its owner.
They asked him to take down an abusive content but he refused causing the site to be taken down after that he took it down but forgot to clear the cache so the site was restored but quickly taken down again.
After which he rushed to clear the cache but now cloudfare was determined to punish him prompting the commencement of another extra 36 hours ban, truly it's humbling in his own words.

But seun lied, at first he tweeted that nairaland was taken down due to unscheduled maintenance but when he found out he could no longer sustain his lie he decided to say the truth on his Twitter handle.

Please Mr seun take your site seriously and stop running it like the way Nigerian Politicians are running Nigeria.

Dear Nairalanders and Advertisers.

Nairaland's server was taken down by our host's abuse team because of an abuse report that wasn't attended to on time.

After rectifying the error, we brought the server back for a few minutes, but they decided to take the server down again. Since then, we haven't heard from the abuse team, yet the support team keeps insisting that only the abuse team can help us.

So we had to transfer Nairaland to a temporary host in order to bring it back to you. A VERY time-consuming process. We are not fully back, even though most features of the site are working. We still have a long way to go. Additional downtime is likely; don't let it alarm you.

There's a lot more to say, but I have to go back to work to ensure that our return is permanent. Please forgive us for the stress we caused. We appreciate the love and support that you showed us during the ordeal. Nairaland is too important for us to let this happen again.

The same hardwork you people are running for to your various Japa destinations is what you will still meet there if you want to survive.
Instead, stay back, work hard and leave good life. Parking toilet wastes, or drainage or garbage around parks and taxi, security guards or lorry driver are the only sure work in many japa destinations

Am in my 30’s, My wife and I have been living in separate locations about 4yrs now. With intermittent visits 3-4months intervals.
Few days back wen she visited, I exchanged one of my new fones with her so while I was checking out the fone so I could delete some stuff and familiarize with the fone(her previous fone ,now mine)I casually stumbled into her FB & WhatsApp and saw sex chats with different men including her ex. This will be first ever I would be checking her SM, calls, SMS or whatsoever.
When I confronted her with these evidences, she rather than apologize to me, began guilt tripping me with how she’s been ignoring my own philandering (but no evidence, she’s just basing them on speculations).
She dragged the fone in a bid to snatch it from me at the Mall in public.
I told her point blank how disappointed & angry I am and am separating from her.
I arranged for for logistics to take her to our house in the town she stays.
She’s called my dad. I have no idea what she’s told them, but I got evidences.
We do not yet have a child together.

Good day Nlanders , pls I need the wisest counsels of wise Nlanders ,I have a problem which is lack of commitment to women , ive been this way since I left uni , and pls know that this isnt due to masturbation or any sorts, cause I havent done that thing since my teenage years.
I meet a woman today , we vibe , connect and all but i'm just damn too scared to commit any woman no matter how good she is. Im scared that if I continue this way I may likely find it really difficult to get married.
Seeing and experiencing different complains of men in real life and on the forum as made my commitment issues with women only worse. Ive met different women this year that were good women , but I fear if I give my heart to them they may switch up , women are too complicated naturally to cope with.
