Yes , you can use a blender.
You only need to allow the beans cool.
It not advisable to blend hot beans .

If na by this kinda reasoning, oyibo for nor invent Blender and other modern innovative comforts of technology. This stone age cooking looks uncivilised and barbaric. Only the food photos is nauseating and a major turnoff.

Using a blender to hot cook beans is not advisable.

There are to different type of ijabe(matchbroom).

There is the normal broom ,which is only cut short and use for cooking and the one I posted
The two are only use for cooking .

Nor use the brroom sweep floor one day oo. This is not nice. Some pieces of the broom can even break inside the food from centrifugal stirring force. Try substituting with Flour hand mixer that 👨‍🍳👩‍🍳 Bakers use for stirring whisking flour-egg mixture instead. My 50 cents ✌

So I make use of what I have .

Am sorry,l have forgotten nairaland is not for the poor like me😭

Ingredients I use

Half derica of brown Beans
Pepper
Palmoil
Salt
Seasoning cube
Onion
Meat
Cow skin

Preparation
I pick and select the beans, then I wash to remove the brown skin.
I soak the washed bean for few minutes,then I pour in a pot ,I add water and onions.
Then I set the pot on fire to cook till the beans soften.

I blend with ijabe buy mashing it in the pot.
When it is smooth I strain with a plastic filter to remove the shaft.

Next is to rinse , seasoning and cook my meat with the blended pepper.

In a pot I added my bean milk ,meat boiled with pepper, seasoning cube (I use only one piece of chicken flavour),little salt, palmoil and washed cow skin.

I leave it to cook for few minutes .

My soup is ready ,it can be taken alone with any swallow of your choice.

It can also be mix with ewedu and stew
