NYSC love, oh to be young and naive again…
|
IconicR:Never seen any insightful comment come from you since I started browsing this forum more. You always come across as bitter, yet always constantly seeking attention. Get a life! |
Well well well, if it isn't the consequences of poor government policies… Purchasing power has reduced as a result of overall increase in necessities. Hopping on Jumia to make that impulse luxury purchase is no longer viable, which in the long run impacts Jumia as a profitable firm. We'll continue to see a decline in profit margins for many organisations, which will lead to an exodus due to instability and possible shutdowns. A renewed shege indeed. |
By our dear Ighalo…
|
We go hear word now. |
F*cking hell bruh! I'm glad you're better now. Damnnn… |
renderme: Yooo! Is that 50 cent? 💀 |
I've worked in the banking sector. Do not go for marketing, retail, teller, cash officer, CSU, or back office operation roles. There's little to no growth as those are not core banking staff. You will be on that salary for a very long time unless marketing is your passion. You should also note that there's little to no transferrable skills in those roles. |
It's quite funny how people who slate this place still live with their parents, who's house isn't anything to write home about either. |
AllenSpencer: So basically every Nigerian? |
I agree, it's an achievement for a lazy woman since men are the prize. |
I believe I've encountered something similar in the past, resembling a large, white, stretched ring that darkens when moisturised. I suggest replacing your underwear with a new set, getting fresh towels, and ensuring the area is thoroughly dried after bathing. Additionally, consider applying oils like tea tree oil to maintain appropriate moisture levels. |
Preaching about sexual lust, but jealous of your neighbour's success. Dey play mtcheeeewwww! |
All this unnecessary pressure. The moment you detach your achievements and progress from your age, you start living free from stress and worry, as you no longer engage in a competition with others but yourself. In this economy, now is not the time to start drawing up checklists as everyone is going through a lot to survive this economy. Life is a marathon not a sprint as everyone has their own journey. |
Miravik900: Explains why the greatest innovations by mankind always come from men… |
Here we go again, same old victim-blaming… But what really needs our attention is putting a stop to these criminals who are ruthlessly ending lives for their twisted rituals. The fact that our country's criminal justice system isn't doing enough about it is beyond frustrating. |
After the long epistle about beauty and brilliance, I'm yet to see evidence of this combination. |
See backend engineer 🌚 |
marlow1962:Yeah, it's called dry humour for a reason… |
Amayabor1: Just because you were able to throw in some insults doesn't mean you had a compelling argument. You've once again demonstrated your lack of intelligence and grace. You're an unfortunate fellow. I am yet to see a scholarship which offers full tuition payment to the UK that doesn't require the candidate return after their studies, unless they decided to ignore the terms which violates the scholarship. You're a simpleton, as you've completely digressed from the main point of dialogue. If OP truly has a passion for IT, going to study a Biological Sciences course will be a complete waste of time but greedy tw@ts like yourself can't see beyond the 200k salary quoted here. Everyone starts somewhere, so 200k will only be temporary. I know many peers who started on similar “low wages” but now earn in dollar while working remotely in Nigeria because they took their careers seriously and weren't short-sighted like yourself. I refuse to be dragged further into your level of ignorance, so I will end the discussion here and hope OP doesn't take advice from a foolish fellow as yourself. |
This is what led to the rise of LGTBwhatever in first world countries. A lack of father figure. |
Mindlog:Stop projecting your insecurities on me, as you've refused to apply critical thinking since your response is based on emotion and not facts. There is no way OP will not have to disclose their marital status or the fact that they have 4 kids already. What sort of visa will OP be granted eh smarty-pants? You do realise you cannot work or set up a business on a visitor's visa right? How will OP add value to the economy she intends to travel to without the required experience or qualifications? It's always the unintelligent ones who are quick to call people dumb. I have travelled enough times to know that OP will not be granted a visa should they apply but go on then… 🤡 Imagine getting this worked up over some probably BS made up story lol! |
Amayabor1:Hahaha! What an aggressive, an uncouth clown you are. Where in my comment shows I insulted you? I repeat, you are short-sighted as you struggle to see beyond the 200k which I believe is fair for someone without any experience. 200k might not be a lot, but no employer will ever pay you what you think you are worth. OP has a passion for IT and this is such a great opportunity for them to kickstart their career and they won't be on that 200k for much longer if they build their capacity. In a year's time, OP will be earning way more than the 200k unlike the MSc which doesn't guarantee them anything. They'll be back in naija to start from nothing when done. Shame you're too blind to see the vision, as people like you will only end up misleading OP. Getting a master's degree will most likely not benefit OP in the long term, especially if they have intentions of working in IT as hands-on experience is superior to degrees. Keep making a fool of yourself with your ignorant attitude. |
Mindlog:You think immigration wouldn't find out eh? So many stupid people on here lol! |
CuriousStudent:Why would a white man opt for a black woman (with 4 kids) who's at the bottom of the dating ladder? You're as deluded as OP, the MIL and wife. |
Men, this is why you do NOT marry an uneducated and unqualified liability. He provided for her all his able days till he suffered an unfortunate accident. The moment he could no longer provide, he became dispensable in the eyes of his mother-in-law and wife. “Easily re-marry” lol! Good luck finding any man who will take you and your 4 spawns. Send her abroad to go do what exactly? What skills has she got to survive there? How would she explain leaving her 4 kids with her disabled husband to the embassy? There's too many stupid people on this forum, it's unbelievable. |
Like the other guy said, I don't enjoy living in filthy environments, and I've already got a washing machine to take care of laundry. I cook as well so no big deal. |
Gather enough evidence to bring the bastard down. |
Amayabor1:And how would he be able to combine working full time with full time studies? OP is also not required to work more than 20 hours otherwise they violate the terms of their BRP. They will need to pay tax on the money they make from the SE job which will also compromise his position. You can't eat your cake and have it. He's going to earn 200k with no job experience which is more than generous, so stop being so short-sighted. |
• You're passionate about IT and landed a job as a software engineer. • You've been offered a scholarship to go study biological sciences in the UK You pick option one, in a years time you would've gained worked experience and built competence which would increase your value in the job market. You pick option two, finish your master's which also requires you to return to Nigeria with a cool down of about 2 years before you can return to the UK to find work. Furthermore, you won't be able to gain relevant work experience because of visa restrictions, and you'll be further away from your passion in IT. The question is, what will you be doing when you return with your biological science master’s degree, which will basically be worth nothing? How will a master’s degree in biological sciences get you an IT job? You will end up back at square one, with a year wasted on a degree that doesn't align with your goals. I would advise you to take option 1, as future you will be grateful. |

sweetman2022:Try typing this again without crying. You know, only people who lack exposure and are narrow-minded would think Lagos is the ultimate “city” just because it's doing better than 19 other states in Nigeria. That's probably why the whole place is a mess because people like you are just used to a lower standard of living, no offence. Get your passport, travel and go see better performing cities before calling me a mumu. |
