Which immigration? It clearly shows you don't even have an international passport, reason you think marital status is part of details on the data page! Keep showing off your ignorance.
Stop projecting your insecurities on me, as you've refused to apply critical thinking since your response is based on emotion and not facts.

There is no way OP will not have to disclose their marital status or the fact that they have 4 kids already. What sort of visa will OP be granted eh smarty-pants? You do realise you cannot work or set up a business on a visitor's visa right?

How will OP add value to the economy she intends to travel to without the required experience or qualifications? It's always the unintelligent ones who are quick to call people dumb. I have travelled enough times to know that OP will not be granted a visa should they apply but go on then… 🤡

Imagine getting this worked up over some probably BS made up story lol!

You must be very stupid and useless to have quoted me in a very rude manner.

Are you telling me there are no graduate students that are working in the UK and combing the work with full time studies? Did I tell OP to work more than 20 hours in a week? Or you just read something and replied because you wanted to reply?

I repeat, OP should leave the 200k Nigeria Job and move to the UK. He has better prospects there and better chances of saving something. The 200k will not take him anywhere in present day Nigeria.

Dimwit!
Hahaha! What an aggressive, an uncouth clown you are. Where in my comment shows I insulted you?

I repeat, you are short-sighted as you struggle to see beyond the 200k which I believe is fair for someone without any experience. 200k might not be a lot, but no employer will ever pay you what you think you are worth.

OP has a passion for IT and this is such a great opportunity for them to kickstart their career and they won't be on that 200k for much longer if they build their capacity. In a year's time, OP will be earning way more than the 200k unlike the MSc which doesn't guarantee them anything. They'll be back in naija to start from nothing when done.

Shame you're too blind to see the vision, as people like you will only end up misleading OP. Getting a master's degree will most likely not benefit OP in the long term, especially if they have intentions of working in IT as hands-on experience is superior to degrees.

Keep making a fool of yourself with your ignorant attitude.

Read the full story, she will marry abroad not in naija . Only naija bred men hold prejudice towards divorcees.

Day by day women walk into their second or sometimes third marriage abroad with kids, not here in naija
Why would a white man opt for a black woman (with 4 kids) who's at the bottom of the dating ladder? You're as deluded as OP, the MIL and wife.
FamilyRe: Mother Wants Her Daughter To Quit Marriage Because Of This by Mountbatten: 11:33am On Aug 08, 2023
Men, this is why you do NOT marry an uneducated and unqualified liability.

He provided for her all his able days till he suffered an unfortunate accident. The moment he could no longer provide, he became dispensable in the eyes of his mother-in-law and wife.

“Easily re-marry” lol! Good luck finding any man who will take you and your 4 spawns. Send her abroad to go do what exactly? What skills has she got to survive there? How would she explain leaving her 4 kids with her disabled husband to the embassy?

There's too many stupid people on this forum, it's unbelievable.

I will advise you take up the masters program in the UK. I know many scholarship give you a condition of going back to your home country after completion of your study in the UK, but there are ways to it such that you will remain in the UK after your program. If you are serious, you can save some money from your scholarship stupend and still work as a student in the UK. In fact, you stand a better chance for a career in IT in the UK than in Nigeria.

Don't look at the money they want to pay you o. 200k is a very small money in today's Nigeria.
And how would he be able to combine working full time with full time studies? OP is also not required to work more than 20 hours otherwise they violate the terms of their BRP. They will need to pay tax on the money they make from the SE job which will also compromise his position.

You can't eat your cake and have it. He's going to earn 200k with no job experience which is more than generous, so stop being so short-sighted.
CareerRe: Tech Job Or U.K Fully Funded Scholarship by Mountbatten: 11:10am On Aug 08, 2023
• You're passionate about IT and landed a job as a software engineer.
• You've been offered a scholarship to go study biological sciences in the UK

You pick option one, in a years time you would've gained worked experience and built competence which would increase your value in the job market.

You pick option two, finish your master's which also requires you to return to Nigeria with a cool down of about 2 years before you can return to the UK to find work. Furthermore, you won't be able to gain relevant work experience because of visa restrictions, and you'll be further away from your passion in IT.

The question is, what will you be doing when you return with your biological science master’s degree, which will basically be worth nothing? How will a master’s degree in biological sciences get you an IT job? You will end up back at square one, with a year wasted on a degree that doesn't align with your goals.

I would advise you to take option 1, as future you will be grateful.

Try typing this again without crying.

You know, only people who lack exposure and are narrow-minded would think Lagos is the ultimate “city” just because it's doing better than 19 other states in Nigeria.

That's probably why the whole place is a mess because people like you are just used to a lower standard of living, no offence. Get your passport, travel and go see better performing cities before calling me a mumu.
TravelRe: You Want To Survive In Lagos: 17 Things You Must Not Do. by Mountbatten: 12:09pm On Aug 06, 2023
Lagos is an overrated ghetto. The “premium” areas look like swamp in the rainy season.

Only reason a lot of Nigerians live in Lagos is the job opportunities there. Horrible road network, substandard transport system, poor infrastructure, limited public amenities, streets littered with hawkers, refuse, and beggars.

Terrible “city”.

FamilyRe: Why Do Women Knowingly Marry Deadbeats? by Mountbatten: 6:42pm On Aug 04, 2023
Think we don't have enough context to judge either party as this is a gross generalisation.

After going through the thread, you live in the ghetto which answers your question. Young lady get exposed to s#x at a young age, gets pregnant and sticks with the guy who is usually much older.

Parents force both of them into unplanned marriage, which leaves both of them no choice. Guy is utterly useless to himself, family and society and does nothing all day than drinking, gambling, stealing, drugs and sleeping around like a rabid dog.

They grow to resent each other and the guy resorts to physically, mentally and emotionally abusing his “wife” who's also had her life ruined. She's probably too old now to go back to high school or diligent to go to uni, as she has a kid to cater for so the cycle continues.

Very unfortunate situation.

My sister run away from the following men..

1. The ones who ask you what you have to offer. These are irresponsible men. They are looking for who to shift their responsibilities to. If not, why would they ask such a dummy question.

2. Men who are interested in your past than your future. Always asking you about your past life. These ones are not ready for marriage.

3. The ones who always want to have their way between your legs whenever you visit them. They can never marry you. It's that sexx that is keeping them.

4. The ones who do not tell you their plans. Always being secretive. You are not important to them because I see no reason a man should keep his plans away from the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with.

5. The ones who tell their parents almost every about them. They want to eat rice today mum will know. The want to send you 5k their daddy will know.

6. The ones who can't introduce you to their friends. They will not marry you.

7. The ones who do not want you to know their earnings. Run o.

Will you be quiet! To the streets you belong.

Big Brother Show: Painful Statistics of what should be an illicit business

Pray for Nigerian youths

Total number of votes cast during Britain Got talent 2017 = 6.2million votes

Total number of votes cast during American got talent 2017 = 52.1million votes.
Note: American population is twice Nigeria's population.

Mind you, most of the votes cast on either Britain or American got talent are *absolutely free* because you can vote on their websites & on the Apps without paying a dime.

Total number of votes cast during “Big Brother Nigeria” 2018 = 170million votes @ N30 per sms for a show that contributes absolutely nothing to their lives.

It is neither a talent show or life enhancing or promoting show. A show where adults are kept in a cage to freely give & take sex on National Television, while the organisers make more money from the youths.

If INEC organises general election this weekend and ask Nigerian youths to vote on their mobile phones @ N10 per SMS to elect leaders that will shape their futures & the country, they will ask Nigerian Government to credit their accounts 1st before they will agree to vote in that magnitude.

“Wasted Generation” ~ Prof. Wole Soyinka called them.

“A generation that play too much, sleep too much and engage in idle chatter and gossip" ~ Chief Obafemi Awolowo foresaw

A generation of illiterate graduates ~ Atiku Abubakar called them in 2016

A generation that are constantly not concerned about the deteriorating conditions of their senses & not bothered about their own future~ Osquare78 knows them.

We all must be wary of this generation.... they are the larger chunk of Nigerian population.

It is pathetic. 170 Million votes Multiplied by N30 = N 5.1 billion and the winner got N25 million plus an SUV worth N12 million a trip and electronics.

To destroy the future, destroy the seed (children and youths)...

Pray for Nigeria youths to open their eyes and for God to touch the hearts of those who engage in such illicit business.

So unfortunate!

We Rise![/quote]People who engage these sorts of “reality” shows lack critical thinking ability, are usually shallow and vapid. How can an adult waste their time watching others waste their time? There's literarily nothing to learn from these pointless scripted and rehearsed shows.

Before you bring sport into this, it at least provides insight into management, teamwork and building, culture, languages etc.

That mumu Lord person for just dey e own dey. The North should've been part of Niger Republic but here we are today, suffering the consequences of that amalgamation.

Nigeria will never progress as a country as we don't share the same religion, culture, history, or beliefs. Every top performing country have certain things in common such as one language, religion, culture, history, and/or belief.

Nigeria isn't ready to be a country, independence was a mistake.

Zooposki:
Men weaponize marriage so as to gain control over women. Once women come out from the bondage of, “Marriage is essential to life”, men will lose their control. Why do you think men shame unmarried older women? They are scared of losing that control and want the younger ones(women) to fall in line. Notice he said 26yrs old as older. This is to make sure the women start panicking at a younger age and fall in line.
One day, you'll hit 35 and find yourself solo in your cosy pad, casually flipping through social media posts of your pals marking their wedding anniversaries, kids, and hubbies.

That's when it hits you how many hours you've sunk into that job, which could toss you aside at any moment, leaving you feeling totally down. The ticking of your biological clock might start ringing in your ears, and you'll think, “Wow, time to find a decent partner is slipping away, and I'm not the same hottie I once was.”

Afterward, you'll sigh, put down your phone, and have a good ol' cry before drifting off to sleep.
