we have them here.

They quite lately but I know they are reading this thread. As one Alfa said of recent, "their ideology teaches muslims to be lazy"
LOL! Yes, I know they are still here and silently reading until something gives them abrupt indigestion and then you hear them screaming and shouting. grin

Empiree, awon alfa nla ti lo faa. My father used to tell us about one alfa in Ebira land. He was called "Alfa oni tira". According to him, if you go to the alfa for prayer, his only prayers were Fatiha & Solatu Fatih. For example, if you went to him to complain about failing business he would say: you have told Allah your problem not him, may Allah bless your business Fatiha, Solatu fatih. And will bring baraka into that business. No matter the problem you took to him, even if it is village people, na Fatiha, Solatu fatih be the prayer and, in sha Allah, that problem would be over. The likes of this alfa are difficult to come by these days, and the few ones left are old and will leave us soon enough.

One imam said, "awon alfa wonyi aba aye je. Won ani ko si nkan ti onje batini, gbogbo nkan ni sohir." LOL ...

The next generation go suffer ehn. At least, most of us were born when sheikh Adam, Sambo and other alfa nla in Lagos were alive. But the coming generations go meet awon alfa who would give more weight to ahadith than the holy Quran. Even those ahadith would be approached superficially by them.. E don dey happen small small self.
Exactly! We don't see these men of calibre anymore either because death has snatched them or the ones who are alive are totally scorned by the yuppy muslims, hence they also keep to themselves.
Reminds me of how Shams i Tabrizi bemoaned not finding anyone who would inherit his knowledge everywhere he went, untill he met Rumi and transfered his knowledge into him. A lot of people but how many are truly worthy?

Who are our brothers and sisters in ilorin here?. What's going on in that capital?.

I watched chilling video of sheikh Labeeb Agbaji's lecture complaining about lands being sold to Christian to build churches.

He mentioned many areas where Christians dominate or strive to dominate. He said it is the muslims selling them lands and that some Masajid are destroyed and churches are being built in place.

He said this is what Zumrat mumin of the past came to eradicate but current muslim generation are bringing back these idols. He lamented about rich greedy Muslims not doing anything to help fellow Muslims is the reason some muslims covert to CHRISTIANITY.

When I was in ilorin 20yrs ago I barely seen a church. Labeeb is not saying that they don't have the right to practice their religion he's saying that muslims are careless and this may lead to religious war decades from now. He said this is what those baba fought for and even went to jail for that like sheikh Okutagidi (ra).

What's wrong with ilorin?. I listened to Sheikh Adam a while back where he warned ilorin for being too fond of themselves due to their Islamic knowledge. He said they need to be careful not to lose their glory.
That is their mode of operation. And we Muslims are peacefully snoring away. They first of all infiltrate by saying ah! christiani ati musulumi, all are one, we are the same now! Haaha! na so! They get you to relax and then slowly begin to inject their venom. A lot of muslims are just muslims by name or birth and not out of conviction. They berely satisfy the exoteric levels and then call it a day. Anything more than that leads to who asked you? Where was it written to do so?
I saw one on FB very recently who complained that saying LaIllaha Ilallah 70k is such a waste of time when people are busy with their lives! And that only a person who has nothing else to do would engage in such! Nauthu Billah.
Those are the people making up the new Muslim generation.

Dreams are means trough which almighty Allah use to communicate to people, but of which dream is it, when you dream a dream that has meaning you would know. Allah so great even if it be for a 100 years you would still know the dream in details but you might miss some part but that memory is still in you Empiree must have known me before this post, well most of my dreams are messages to me but most times it's not good to say your messages to people the gift often get taken away from you in a way or two unless almighty Allah likes you then it would still stick by you.

Let me share a dream I had and how it came to pass virtually all my dreams comes to pass and i have gone to dream within a dream i.e in my dream I entered another person's dream in my dream the person was explaining his own dream and as he was explaining I found my self in that person dream so we all gifted one way or the other but your gift is always unique and most times it mature with time as well

I had applied for Nigerian Army SSC the last intake.

In this dream I had I saw myself with a guy and a man and the man was like your name is there saying to me and I asked then him i.e the boy he said no he should look for his name elsewhere as we were talking the guy was just restless looking for what he didn't loose, but I was still confused which name but I have already known it's the army because most times you know the meaning of your messages most times,

Then the next day I saw my self on full kaki and I was with my cousin kid bro, I was happy then I saw my aunt, she was not so happy to see me on the uniform, she no like army from time so I was like why is she frowning now me that's looking for job come see one now, then we were lined up heading to a bush then a caller called saying me I am SSC I should leave here that it's only Regulars that's going i.e those who went to NDA as a university cadet that I should leave but I saw those regulars frowning their face like they were taken to war or something and I ran away from the field then when I woke up I was like what's the meaning I still knew it has to do with the Army duo.

Lo and behold before you get into the military as an officer you would need a very strong connections and I have got none I no even sabi anybody but I never gave up.

The next week list came out for those called for interview I was scared to check because the Navy and Airforce dan give me heart ache and as I checked gbam my name came out immediately my mind went to my messages I was like wow they took 30 individuals for SSC and 1 from each LG from each state I was so lucky out of the thousands wow it was like my dreams were coming true, then we went for the interview where you screened you do exams and all then after medicals I was told I can't continue training if anyone went for SSC this year would know why most of us on medical were sent home and that my second message started making sense to me I would be sent home because the road forward would not favour me, with this I put one plus one to get two so you see.

They are so many other things but are best unsaid. It's good to come out sometimes to glorify Allah for what we have and don't have we all are blessed with a certain gift in one way or the other and to some it takes time to mature the gift out others piety some don't even have piety but are given gifts by the almighty but it's never easy.

To the incognitos all are blessed with a gift don't feel down because you don't observe for your self what Brother A is observing because you would like to, everyone is programed differently if you to witness what Brother A is witnessing you might not be able to take it physically and might mess with your physical as well as emotional state so we all are special one way or the other just be greatful to the Almighty for everything and anything

Like you see prophet Musa was programed to hear Allah directly no one else was if am not mistaken that's how he was if you choose to hear and you not configured to hear you might end up the way prophet Musa ended when he said he wants to see Allah because he can hear him he's not configured to see only hear.
This is so true that everyone is configured differently and could change or even get clearer as one gets older or more mature.

Thank God you dreamt and understood what the reality would entail had things not happened the way they did.

A woman once dreamt of her son being killed at the war front (NDA product) and all the sheiks interpreted her dream as exactly what it was if he went ahead into the war front. Serious marathon duas, back to back for three months or so were done over him and at the tail end before they were shipped off to war, they discovered something medically wrong with him and his best friend, so they ended up being disqualified. The thing pained these boys enh, no be small. The guys mum was the happiest person when she heard of this disqualification.
Weeks later, virtually everyone who was sent on that mission became RIP.
Please people, listed to your dreams and don't make jest of it or take it lightly.

Wow!! Subhanallah!! This is some incredible stuff coming from you, brother. This your experience is another big proof that dreams are a means of receiving messages and by extension, the 46th part of nabuwa as stated in the hadith referenced by Empiree. So why do some deny this? What is wrong with some people?
For some people, they would rather be in denial and ignorance than face the truth and reality. Everything that does not gel with their whims are rejected. Good luck to them!

One username, which I can't remember for if I do I'll mention him, on here deridingly asked "from who"(sic), when Empiree wrote that dreams are a means of receiving messages.

It was in the mid 2000s, when my big bro was going through hell on earth. As a jaye jaye that he was, he was broke and only lived on his past street credibility as a tough guy.

There was an alfa - a younger brother of his intimate friend, in fact, they all lived together at the time, who told my bro of a baba alawo who comes to Lagos once every few months to help people after my bro asked if he knew any strong baba who could make him agbo iba or something . He took him there; but while this alfa left them alone, my bro changed the subject and told the baba what he really wanted was "ogun owo" (money ritual), and baba said it was no big deal and that he'd done for many people, even popular ones. I should just conclude the story here with the dream part but, for those who think there's no such thing no dey deceive ya self oo...

The baba gave him four options to choose from: 1) He'd be made a bathing soap, which he'd use but must not come in contact with his eyes or he goes blind. 2) It would be made for him such whenever he thought of spending some money, all he had to do was just to dip his hand in his pocket with the intention of the amount he wants, and he'd bring out the the exact amount but must return from the money into his pocket, everything must be spent or...... I don't know. 3) He'd make a box (a small coffin, to be precise) and keep in his wardrobe. And says every morning he would find the box filled with money which must be emptied, and that the money coming next day must not meet that which was found in the box the previous day, so wherever he was he must go home to empty the money -filled coffin. 4) He'd get a piece of land, with the view to developing in it, dig a well in it and slaughter a ram in the well once every year. And the baba said, even after my bro's passing his children must continue that tradition like that yearly. The baba asked him to come back after two weeks and said he would go back to his village to get the ingredients for the ritual because they could not be got in Lagos

He didn't tell me the option he chose but said it was not the first option. He said, he'd gone to price his favourite car then and boasted to his fellow drunks at the bar how he was gonna be the first Otunba of Lagos from our state. LOL..

He said, before two weeks had lapsed, one day he got a call from our sister (younger than him) in Abuja, and on the phone, he could feel she very nervous. And she said, "boda mi, mo ma la ala buruku kan si yin" ( my brother, I had a bad dream about you). I dreamed that you went to do money ritual and died in the process or afterwards, I'm not which was it again, but he shaa died in the dream. He said, he was deflated and confused simultaneously as he had never told any soul about it, and was sure it was no just dream but a message through his sister.
He never went back to the baba and never told our sister about his botched money-ritual plan, unless he's planning on doing so on the morrow.

Thus, if you're not blessed with dreams do not doubt that there are so many out there who are. They may not even be Muslims. As a matter of fact, this same sister saw my father died about three months before his actual death. She said she cried for days after the dream and prayed about it but she knew our father was going to die anyway.

My dreams mean shiit, and prefer it that way, but I don't go around disputing people's dreams when they say they have got the gift of dream. Mine is, however powerful you are, even if you're shaytan, you can never overpower me in my dreams. I could do all sorts of unimaginable things therein. I'm like something else entirely whenever there is an attack, there's hardly ever one though.

We all have our individual differences, mentally, physically, socially, psychologically, and spiritually too. If we accept this fact we'll all be better for it.
movado19, I sight you
This is heavy stuff! Wallahi, your brother is loved by Allah! Because if he wasn't he would have gone ahead to carry out those activities and God knows what would have become of him by now!
You are very right about everyone having their differences in different areas of life. Some people have more of somethings than others.
I weep for people who say dreams are nothing or isn't 46th part of Nubuwa, as Empiree stated. How many people have made light of their dreams and ended up either dead or have become a living-dead?
I swear by Allah, true dreams are indeed true.

I don't often dream but when I do, I don't ever take them as a joke.
I once dreamt where the messengers came to me hastily, as if they were running to catch up with me, and the leader said they were sent to deliver this message to me, which is that I must not accompany anyone who invites me to follow them to a funeral! They repeated it three times and then the leader said "we have delivered the message" and as they made to leave, I woke up. This was just before Fajr salat. I began to wonder why anyone would invite me to a funeral when I had none to attend, to begin with, or know anyone who was having one?
This kind of troubled me.
Later that morning, I remembered quite late that I had to go see a couple who were family friends (this was a prior appointment made days before but I forgot about it until that time when I remembered) and on getting there, their domestic help said "ah, oga and madam no dey, dem don common go funeral!!!! I asked her na wetin you talk? she repeated "dem go funeral". "dem wait for you taya and as dem no see you so, na im dem say make i give you the funeral address make you come join them for there" and she proceeded to extend the paper to me. I told her "no, keep the paper and make you tell oga and madam say me i dey go somewhere and no go fit make am to where dem dey and we go see again some other time."
Mind you, we had a prior appointment for me to come over to their home, but funeral was never in the picture. In fact, there wasn't any discussion of anyone's death before this day.

Ahhhhh! bolts of cold ran through my body, my people. I canceled all my appointments for the remainder of the day and went home to think about life and how Allah saved me from whatever was laying in wait for me! I couldn't praise him enough that day. They buzzed my phone in the afternoon that day but I never picked up neither did I answer the phone calls of anyone else for that day. It was a day meant for just me and Allah.
I cannot shout enough.

On Wed night.

Like I said it's very important dat u make d necessary dua, b4 going out, wen in a gathering, b4 anything actually. Like it was said in the Quran, the jinns are whisperer, they whisper to the heart of men to influence us. This is exactly what they do Wenever I go out at night, they do worse things dat I can't talk about here. (no wonder the prophet said after Ishai go back to ur homes close ur doors and goto bed)

Like I said I hav learnt to pretend, I have learnt to stay away, not cos am scared of them but because It's annoying watching them do wat they do without doing anything. But sometimes wen am bored I take a stroll into their area (where they are more populated to observe them.

I see them following ppl and whispering in their ears, where there are gathering they go in and start whispering (I hav seen where some guys where arguing about football, as soon as I saw the whisperers going in I already know Wats gonna happen, and I was right, d argument suddenly turns to fist fight)
Some where following pple like guards, perhaps ppl dat has a protection pact with them. (of course d Jinn can't protect a tin, they can't even protect themselves from other jinns) some maybe sent to disrupt someone's life following them about, some are dat are possessed by Jinn. I once saw a madman with about six or more Jinn hovering around him, 1 were hanging on the right and left shoulder each, one at at d top of his head, front, Back sides. taking every step d mad man takes Without missing a step

But I noticed one thin, this is where d important of protection dua come in. I noticed dat wen they see ppl passing, they look into ur heart first, only Allah knows wat they see and then decide whether to follow u or not. They tried it with me all d time I will pretend am nt seeing them an watch them. As soon as they look into my heart sometimes head, they just walk away fast. Not just me with others too, and they either walk away or follow u. May Allah protect us.

So this night I went to watch soccer at a nearby hotel with a friend, while I was watching I didn't notice If they were in their with us, but as soon as we came out I was seeing them every. I told my friend who was still arguing with someone to come let's move fast. As we were going one was following us, he looked into me goto d other side and check my friend I still pretend. After walking a long distance I noticed dat d tin is still following us, i was already close to my house, so I was wondering Wats his plan? Is he waiting for us to go our separate ways or wants to follow my friend. I use style to wait, engaged my friend with a football talk. And then d jobless came to my friends and was whispering God knows wat. At dis point I couldn't pretend anymore and I said; "you do know I can see you right" he froze and stair at me in terror and surprised. I said; wat do u want? He kept mute an stair like a little kid dat was just caught live while stealing. An I told him if he doesn't leave us And I get hold of him, I will make sure he burn in d name of Allah. D idiot flee With speed. All this was happening while I was communicating with my friend and d Jinn at d same time. But he didn't knw all dis happened because communicating with jinns is like mind to mind communication no movement of lips. I never told him wat transpired tho, because dis tins scare some pple. If I had told him he may never watch night matches again.
EmekaRaj, why, in your opinion, do you think they get defensive or so surprised when they know one can see them?
I still can't forget the one you narrated a few pages back about the bus driver or conductor at the park...who knows what the angered one would have done to the guy had you not intervened?
Does it mean that they are very sensitive to sound since they asked you to tell your wife to lower her voice? To you, was your wife reciting aloud or just normal voice?
Yeah! about the jealousy part, it's all over the Quran for us to see. They are not happy, period! Apart from humans, who did Allah ask:
Angels and all present to make sajdah to Adam? None.
Which other beings apart from man did Allah speak of about creating in perfection? None. (Ikupakuti alluded to this somewhere in the earlier pages with respect to the human configuration containing the most attributes compared to the angels and jinns).

I'm ashamed at us modern Muslims. We are only good at quoting ahadith. Nothing more.
Many years ago a man ran to the alfa of my late father's alfa to complain to him about a land dispute. A church had taken or wanted to take his piece of land from him, and the alfa asked to be taken there. On getting there the alfa said some prayers which included the all powerful Surah Ya Sin. After the prayers, the alfa said to the man that the church would develop that land for him and they left. A few months gone, the church came knocking and apologised to the man for trespassing and promised to build a house on the disputed land for him, which they did.
I doubt any of these modern alfas could put the Quran to such practical use. In fact, some sufi alfas now go to babalawos to get what they call "iwe account". Some go to babalawos for spiritual help. As in....
"iwe account" grin grin grin
There's nothing we won't hear or see!
Isn't it amazing how some muslims run (sometimes secretly) in their direction while some of then run towards Muslims, even if secretly too?

One day (about 2 years ago), I was shown in a dream a very popular pastor woman; by those "messengers" - they always come in two or threes.
I don't know this woman in anyway, have never met her, never spoken to her, etc. I just know that she is very popular as per mega church with her husband.
They presented her and they were telling me that she recites ayatul kursi before every service because she knows the importance of that ayah!!!!! shocked
They also said no one in her congregation knows she does this and she tells no one about it.
They presented her in an accusatory manner as one would a criminal (I guess because she is leading people astray?).
The dream finished and I was baffled as to why I would see her to begin with?
I decided to do a small investigation and asked who knew her for a while and all I heard was "ah! omo alfa!"
Say what? They all said that she grew up in a very Islamic home and her dad was an alfa, etc. That her husbad too grew up in a very religious and islamic home.
I don't know why she was presented or shown to me in a dream to begin with, but I do know that the deception out there is on a massive scale now.
Everytime I see her or her husband on a billboard, I just whisper to myself - omo alfa! ayatul kursi!

Relatives in Abuja have made mention to me of some people who sell zamzam water telling them that their number 1 customers are christians!
They said the christians told them that zamzam water is filled with power and they use it for their "holy water" - of course they won't mention it to the mass congregation.

Another one mentioned to me that happens every Ramadan (last ten nights) is that some pastors will be asking their congregation? "Which favours of your Lord will you deny" and they will answer in mass chorus, "None"!!! Repeatedly like a chant/zikr.
Surah Rahman - (repeated 31 times)
See how engaging they are with that verse by replying none? Even we Muslims just repeat it and move on without pondering upon the reasons for repetition.
That they stay vigil all those ten nights! Some naming those days as "nights of miracles and power".
Meanwhile, some of us are asleep after stuffing our bellies.
We are quick to ask to see hadith to show proof. Buhari and Muslim did not say XYZ in their books, etc.
We accuse others of not following the Salafis.
We are quick to accuse others of being Kaafirs.
They are quietly appropriating our heritage and we are shamelessly swimming in the ocean of ignorance.
May Allah help us all.

Where are the babas of old, awon alfa zumura (alfa aweri) , aah!!!! There is/was not a babalawo who dare(d) to look them in the faces, they would burn (as in literally) where they stand. This is no myth or legend for it has happened before. Egun was burning in the full glare of the public after an alfa zumura recited something. But all these juju people no dey allow person rest again just because we've lost our ways. We urgently need to retrace our steps OR......

Pls don't get tired mentors in the house because many people are learning and strengthening their faith

Wallahi, had it not been for EmekaRaj who began this thread and a host of people who contributed immensely to this thread for over two years, I don't think I would know or be where I am now by God's leave.
An example is the q&a between Ikupakuti and LadunaI. So much knowledge has been compressed in their communications that every time I go back, I learn something new! I am actually taking each page line by line now! Thier discussions exposed me to information out there that is hidden unless you go sincerely seeking.I am constantly in the company of a dictionary (english and arabic spiritual terms).
Ikupakuti clearly explained the concept of the straight path (Ihdina Sirat Al Mustakym) and since then, my iman got way stronger...there is nothing we see the babalawo's, miracle makers, etc doing that Islam has not made a provision for! Allah knows that humans will outstretch their necks to what is out there and for that, he made ample provisions in Islam, through Ihsan via Iman.
Or is it Empiree who brought to light the world of Ruhanniyya's, the value of sincerity in one's spiritual life and practices, never placing a lid on the possibilities and abilities of what we don't see with our naked eyes, the sweetness of dua and zikr, etc?
Or AlBaqir who made me see some verses such as in Surah Maryam afresh by deliberately asking common sense questions?
Or EmekaRaj who narrated one of his encounters that shook me to my very core and made me appreciate Islam even more and the gift of the Quran by Allah to us Muslims? That story also verified what Allah said in the Quran - "they see you from where you don't see them!" Q7:27.
Where does one start from, really? My relationship with the Quran is no longer the same! The blinds are gradually falling off due to you all!
I am saying all these because I don't want the door of knowledge to be closed on this wonderful thread. If there's a way narratives/ encounters/stories can continue without compromising ones-self, that would be really great.
May Allah be with us all and grant us our heart desires, Amin.

Salamun aleikum brothers, it's been a while, like Hausa ppl will say knwana biyu (2days) I haven't totally forgotten d thread , it's been busy filled yrs, got married, first baby twins (all tnx 2 Allah) so it's been struggle, hustle and dis Buhari administration no be here oo. So haven't had much time to write, my diary is kinda Empty, my memories is filled with experience tho. But I hav grown much in my spiritual journey, or should I say matured, but still learning. One of the tins I learned over the years which is very important and I hold their to me is that maters of the unseen are secret and should be kept that way, although there are few tins one can share with others but not personal experience. The maters of the unseen is a privilege giving to few, and wen u abuse it gets taking away from u. So over the yrs I hav learn that the more I reveal d less I see or know, especially wen I started dis thread, as a novice I thought I was opening up so I can learn and grow but I was actually weakening myself. despite not even sharing half of my experience, I was having different attack I didn't understand why, I tot it was just regular hate the shaytan has for believers, but it was deeper, battles upon battles, endless battles. Through d tough process I began to learn d art.

The fact is ppl can hardly comprehend anyway because its a personal experience, that should be kept so. the more u try to explain the more confusing it gets because to experience the unseen part of the world it's nt easy, Only few dat ar related or similar to d activities of dis world can easily be shared. As time goes I will share some plus the experience with some of my clients. An the research I did to know d effect of quran on sihr, Jinn, dua.

It's crazy crazy world out their. But Alhamdulilah
Ma Sha Allah! A very big congratulations on your wedding and the birth of your twins!!! smiley
May Allah bless you and your family and keep you all happy and safe always, Amin.

Hmm! Your talk is very pregnant!
I see what you mean.

Yes, growth is a must especially for positive development and that you are aware that you are no longer the EmekaRaj when this thread debuted compared to now is a testament to that.

Anything you deem shareable with us would be much appreciated. This thread, by the will and grace of Allah, is now on page 96! That says a lot and also people are seeking knowledge; despite all the noise out there.

Congratulations once again and may Allah keep us all safe.

For real lol!

" i went to masjid not too far from me just to pray maghrib and 'accidentally' picked up a 'tira' with compilation of dua. It is only 3 sura in it but technically arranged. Sura Yasin, Mulk and Kahf. You are to recite sura yasin and stop at every mubin and say your niyah and also read small dua written in every mubin."

1. What is the small dua for every mubin?
2. Kun fayakun is for how many times? Any wish or dua made here too?
3. Surahs Mulk and Kahf, are they just read from begining to end without stops in certain verses?
Thank you.

Yes. Bravo. I like when someone does research. Thumb up
I believe it was EmekaRaj on page 63 who said reciting kun ka yakun 11x and then saying your wish/desire.
Is that the same way you did yours; because the page in the screenshot doesn't say so.
Also, the screen shots have no mulk and kahf.
Could you kindly explain the format the book gave? Thank you.

Empiree and anyone who can also explain further, Surah Al-Kahf verses 61,63:
I know huwt to be whale but Huwt is used for fish instead of samaka in these verse. Why is this?
Thank you.

We are pleading to Empiree to carry that mantle because he is the most familiar with it. He brought the dua to light on this thread.

I always have this soul soothing feeling after my compulsory prayers (not always though) . I can't explain the feelings, it feels so good that tears of joy comes out of my eyes at times.
Subhanallah! May you continue to experience this, always.

^^

As for me, my sign is i feel happy and light. I just feel excited for absolutely no reason. And by the time I check on the reason behind my dua to begin with, it is exactly where I wanted or how i wanted Allah to answer it. But the most important is, i just feel excited for no reason at all. All other things fall into place. Sometimes, it is not answered directly but indirect. Therefore, i do pay close attention to details.

For instance two year agos, i had a debt to pay of ($40k) but balance remained 15k. I had 5 yrs to pay it off but this amounts to interest and fees which i wanted to avoid by any means necessary. So if i was to pay off in 5 yrs as scheduled, i would end up paying additional 10k total of $50k at the end of the loan in 5 yrs. Interestingly, the company that issued my loan offers 'promotion' in form of a question. You click and answer the question and it disappeared forever until they announce winner. Winner would have his loan paid off in full regardless of balance left on the loan.

It was just one question and that's it. Result is read once every October but you must register before October. So a month before result was read, i went to masjid not too far from me just to pray maghrib and 'accidentally' picked up a 'tira' with compilation of dua. It is only 3 sura in it but technically arranged. Sura Yasin, Mulk and Kahf. You are to recite sura yasin and stop at every mubin and say your niyah and also read small dua written in every mubin. So i did this overnight 3 weeks before result was read. When result came out, it is only 1 person they needed out of millions of people they loaned.

Wallahi i was not recognized at all. I accepted my fate but i had feelings that my dua was answered without any doubt bcus, as i said earlier, i always feel excited for no reason and i did after making this dua. After Oct 2017 passed, just a week or 2 in November, my insurance company issued me a check for $5k. I called them to ask what it is about?. They said it is my entitlement. I can't be more than happy. I quickly put this toward my 15k balance. Now i have 10 left. Then, one idiot who owed me money all these yrs that i didnt even talked to anymore for over 5yrs sent me a check enclosed with letter apologizing to me and saying how it was not his fault. That was $2k i added. Now i have 8k left. The new insurance company i just signed up with at the time said i have paid too much upfront and the execcess is due to me. This is $4k. Do the math. Also, back in 2008, there was class action lawsuit against a company that defrauded consumers including me. The case was the company versus the govt. Govt fought on our behalf in court and this check also came in round that time. Everything i am talking about happened simultaneously btw November and December 2017. So i received check in the mail for this which is 80% of my outstanding debt. and the remaining balance is peanut that i paid out of my pocket. I couldn't thank God enough bcus i was thinking of how to pay off this debt without accruing riba for 5 yrs. I raised this loan to buy shares. Now, bcus i was able to pay off this loan in a yr, i quickly sold back my shares to another bank for half of the original loan and make 50% back. This was good bcus if i had waited 5yrs, my shares would lose value and most likely would be sold for peanut by 2023. So i sold my shares in January 2018 and debt free.

So dont think prayers are in vain. We learned in hadith that Allah answers dua 3 ways:

He answers dua right away

or

Answers your dua by not giving you what you asked for but He(swt) shields you from danger

or

He holds your dua till the Day of Judgement to get full reward
Ma Sha Allah! This is really uplifting and eye-opening.
You had a sincere intention not to incure riba and Allah saw you through to the very end. Allahu Akbar!
Just see the way He worked everything out and not even through the result generated by the company.
And I also did not miss the part where you had certainty that your dua has been answered, despite what reality around you was showing - this is very key!
Thank you for sharing this wonderful experience.
IslamRe: ...... by movado19:
Let's inject some life into this thread, my people!
I have an interesting question to ask you all, which is:
When you make dua or engaged in zikr, what signs do you get or experience that lets you know that your dua has "ascended"?
I ask because a lot of people complain about not feeling as if their prayers are answered! (May Allah shield us from such negative thoughts, Amin).
In my own case, it is usually a feeling of "cool waves" in the middle of my head, like the waves of the sea, if that makes any sense. This then descends to the remainder of my body and can last within split seconds or a few minutes of making dua.
I also noticed that reciting astaghfirullah numerous times as well as crying facilitates the whole process.
About astagfirullah zikr, I have a very funny/strange relationship with it, if I may call it so.
A few years back, 2-3 men came to me in my dream and the one who spoke out of them (I assumed the leader) said he is a messenger sent to deliver a message to me, and that the message is for me to be reciting astaghfirullah, and then the dream ended. He spoke in a very kind, friendly and gentle tone of voice.
I got up and thought to myself, which big sin did I commit for me to have this kind of dream?
Even if I sin, na me sin pass? lol! grin
I was very defensive and felt hurt because accord to my small brain then, it meant that I was very bad and needed "redeeming" through this particular zikr.
Anyway, I didn't heed to the advise in the dream and just berely recited astagfurullah, compared to other zikrs that I usually do.
Along the way, Allah opened my eyes to some of the essence of reciting astaghfirullah, which are:
1. It is a very strong cleaning agent (think of dawn dishwasher erasing easy to stubborn grease on your dishes!).
The covering over our hearts is what makes us unsure of our duas being accepted! So astagfirullah activates the cleansing in order for the light in the heart to become visible and thereby easily ascertain certain things.
2. You do not necessarily have to have committed a big or major sin to recite it. Irrespective of your heart's condition at any time, know that there are so many things which can cloud the vision of your heat; ranging from what you hear and see on a daily basis, to where you may even be.
3. It is a very swift facilitator. What I mean is that it can act as:
overnight express, one-day shipping, two-day shipping, three-day shipping, 1-week shipping, one-month shipping, etc.
Think of how you post your items at the post office and which you select is how fast your item will reach the desired destination.
This means that the more you recite it (not 33, 66, or 99 every day! I mean a lot of it!) with Yaqin (certainty), the faster you get the feeling of your dua being accepted.
4. It encases your heart in tranquility and peace!
At least, this is my own case as per what Allah revealed to my heart about astaghfirullah with ones dua.
Once again, one reciting it doesn't mean that you are a criminal, looser, or committed something big.
Allah knows best.

About the messengers in the dream, I have a question for Empiree about them, but I want this thread to, first of all, get juiced up before doing so.
Please share your experiences and thank you!

@OP

One cannot see the rohaniyya, angels & other spirituals entities of higher realms in there true form without one being absorbed in there native sphere.

What a being of higher realm does is to switch to an agreeable form which comforms with a lower realm in order to access it.

Failure to do so which is pratically impossible anyways, (due to the 4 physical natural laws) would distablize a lower realm, due to the highly strong electro-magnectic feild that cloaks their persons.

Thats why in a certain hadith when the holy Prophet (s a w) requested from sayyidina jubreel (a s) to show him his real form he was created in, the later had to exit the realms of naasut & malakut alltogether before tranforming, occupying the whole horizon... which prompted the vs. Quran 81:23, 24

1. I understand sayyidina Jibril (a.s.) having to exit the real of Nasut.
2. I don't understand, however, why he would also have to exit the ream of Malakut?
Angels also reside in this real, not so? Or is it due to his angelic position (high rank) compared to other angels, so, therefore, more electromagnetic waves emanation from him, so also not safe for him to transform in that realm?
3. After transforming, he appeared and occupied the whole horizon...in what "agreeable" form did he transform into eventually to be able to occupy the horizon?

But dreamland falls into the realm of malakut (sphere of the rohaniyyun), seeing angels there is very possible since one will be utilizing one of the 5 spiritual senses that agrees to its nature.

As @empiree rightly pointed out, seeing real angelic being live on earth can only happen during the exit of ones ruh from the body & you know what that means.

When GOD sent sayyidina jubreel to nana maryam (quran 19:17) he had to appear in an agreeable human form.

The jinns we share the same realm with (though them being invisible due to their atomic config.) can be seen by humans with the right conditions.
This is from page 1 of this thread. Ikupakuti was explaining the transformation of higher realm beings in order to access lower realms.
Can anyone who understands the one highlighted in red elaborate further, please?
Thank you.
