Okay.

I would strongly advise that you go for these tests (#1 & # 4) as well as perform at least two to three sessions of # 2.

Your answer to # 3 is very vague and doesn't tell one anything. Normal for you may be abnormal medically.

If you would feel more comfortable taking this offline, then that's very okay.
You may send me an email and we can continue from there InshaAllah.

Sorry, it seems that post is getting too long.

To buttress my point this is 1:43am and since I didn't use any drug ... No great urge to sleep.

For the fear. It didn't start as a kid coz I use to be bold If I could remember but I think I grew into it and I can't really pinpoint the cause, prolly coz I had some embarssing pimples then. Can't even say how and when it started. But I started noticing when I am faced with a decision to do tins. For example who gets their hearts pumping hard when in an ATM stand, afriad of people at the back. Sometimes it just get the anxiety for no reason or sometimes maybe I am thinking about sth.

The thought that precede that prayer own is I would make mistake and I don't want to... Ayah that I can read if them wake me from sleep up fa.

To add, I have used everything possible (not all though) from Ogun dudu to reading ayah to hantu to using a prescription drug diazepam.. which I got illegally.etc.

Thank you!!
Salam Alaikum.

Thank you for the details so far.

Quick questions:
1. Have you undertaken any test in the past or recently for Intestinal Dysbacteriosis?
2. Have you undergone Hijama in the past or recently?
3. What is your bowel motility on a daily and weekly basis?
4. Have you undertaken any goitre/thyroid tests in the past or recently?

Salam Alaikum,

Wa Alaikum Salam

A great post this is, been following since page 1 and it's just full of insightful content.

May Allah Reward you all.
Amin and to you as well.

I have some questions?

1. I have sleep paralysis, who knows about it and what can I do stop it, although I have a sleep disorder(insomnia) and when I try to finally sleep, the paralysis wakes me up again. Pls is anyone also having this.

Insomnia:
How long ago did it start?
Can you say, if possible, if anything drastic happened in your life shortly before it began?
Is it seasonal? That is, does it happen at certain times of the year only like (end of year October, November, December) or during the rainy
season or it is random throughout the year?
Did it start before or after the sleep paralysis?
Are you or have you been on any meds for this currently or in the past?
What steps - if any - did you/have you taken to remedy it thus far?

Sleep Paralysis:
How long ago did it start?
Can you say exactly - if you know - what triggered or still triggers it in your life?
Is there a particular sleeping position that you assume when this happens?
Are you always helpless and unable to do anything every time or just sometimes?
How many times in a week does this happen to you?
Do you have/experience sleep apnea?
What steps have you/ did you take - if any- to remedy it thus far?

2. Secondly I get a lot of fear for no reason.
Has this always been the case since childhood or has something happened in life to commence such fear?

Even most times when I lead prayer in the mosque and am about to read a surah. My heart starts beating very fast and I would just rush it.
Do you have any thought patterns that precede this feeling of fear?

I am asking all these because no two individuals are the same and offering you something generic wouldn't be in your best interest.
We hope to hear back from you very soon, InshaAllah.
I pray that Allah blesses you with complete Shifa, Amin.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

Salaam Alaikum,

I need clarification on these seemingly contradiction BTW Quran and Hadith. I am core advocate for adhering to QUR'AN as the only standard criteria btw right and wrong.

Sura Fatir verse 1

All praise is [due] to Allah, Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.

Hadith

"Ibn Mas'ud informed us that the Prophet had seen Gabriel having 600 wings."

Sources
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 54, Number 455)
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60, Number 379)
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60, Number 380)

LadunaI
movado19
Alhajiemeritus
Having analyzed this verse, what strikes out the most for me (apart from the designation of wings to angels) are the numbers - 2, 3 & 4 - themselves.
1. Their addition equals 9.
2. Their positions (11, 12,13) in the verse, when added together finally also equals 9 (3 + 6 = 9).
It's as though Allah wants mankind to pay very special attention to them.
3. Yes, as Ladunal et.al have already mentioned, it points to our daily salats.
4. What I "see" also is the daily rehearsal of the finality itself...

Fajr(2) symbolizing birth and spring.
Asr (4) symbolizing aging and autumn.
Maghrib (3) symbolizing death and conception simultaneously, and the intersection of autumn and winter.

**Fajr and Asr are the times when the angels change guard for the day**
Allah has said in Q2:238 to watch over all the prayers, "especially the middle" prayer.
This is Fajr if the new day begins at Maghrib and Asr if the new day begins at Fajr/sunrise.
(Islamic and Julian Calendar).

And not left out are:
Zuhr (4) symbolizing prime and summer.
Isha (4) symbolizing the gestation period and intersection between winter and spring.

In essence, we are given opportunities every day - by way of rehearsals - by Allah to be better and do better because a day will come when it all ends.

The Quran is replete with layers over layers of meanings and care should be taken not to interpret on a whim.
As I stated, this is what I "see" and I ask Allah to forgive me if it falls short in any way, Amin.

While Jubril might easily be the most popular Angel, He isn't necessarily the largest of them all.
Have you ever tried to imagine the ones carrying the throne? smiley
Hmm! This clearly reminds me of a narration I read a few years ago about an angel Allah created; who was so huge and was also in charge of a far-away planet (I'm not sure which one), but the angel had no clue/idea about planet earth!
So yes, I can see how there are others bigger than angel Jibril size-wise.

Sorry that you did not make it...don't worry as there are so many other avenues out there!

As for this question, I believe the answer is most propably 136 because of the key word "every other".
This means that instead of hugging all students, each student hugged 8...skipping one to hug the other, hence 17*8 = 136.

Thanks for the insight bro. I understand those bits. It seems I didn't phrase my question properly. The verses arouses this feeling of them being special like the verse of concern and its likes.
So, that my gut feeling I'm trying to confirm by finding out what their "deal" is

Do you get me now?

You know how ikupakuti listed loads of benefits of verse of concern? That's what I'm asking about.
Salam Alaikum.

Those two verses are a divine reflection of what is popularly known as Yin and Yang in the Eastern (Chinese) culture.
We live in a plane of existence where the number 2 holds sway, hence opposites:
rich and poor
strong and weak
happy and sad
full and empty
life and death
big and small
night and day
silent and loud
man and woman
etc

Each and every one of us at any point in time will be in one of such states, not by accident, but by Allah's full knowledge.
Al-Malik Al-Mulk is the overall King of kings, Sovereign of all sovereigns.
The 2 facets; Jalal and Jamal are completely His to bestow on whomsoever He wishes.
Basically, these 2 verses are for the following, though there are more:

Those who seek power (this is not bad provided it is for the sake of Allah).
Those who have been stripped of power.
Those who have or are facing disgrace/ character assassination/ridicule.
Those who wish to be honoured by Allah's creations.
Those who want dominance in certain fields or areas of life.
Those who are threatened of harm from/by others.
Those with terminal illnesses.
Those who have good health and seek for more.
Those who observe their hearts have become hardened.
Those who observe certain bad trait(s) and wish to overcome it/them.
Those who observe within them certain good trait(s) and wish to increase it/them.
Those who observe the light of their Iman dying.
Those who wish not to be jealous of others' good fortune.
Those who wish to put their trust completely in Allah without a doubt.
Those who wish to be patient in their trials while awaiting Allah's Mercy and Ease.
Those who wish for an abundance of Rizk (not just money) from Allah.

When you call on Al-Malik Al-Mulk, you know you are calling on The One...none shares this position with Him!

Let me share my little cent.
I am a newbie too. Certification is also very important I think.
Most people just start data analysis without understanding the fundamentals.
Someone is us here can't even differentiate between Descriptive and prescriptive analysis but are already jumping into excel. Best of luck to them!
My suggestion.
If you have data, go to Coursera and enroll for Google data analysis professional certification. If you are as rich as I am, apply for financial aid. Best of luck.
For me it is Excel, very little of SQL(still working on it), R(I took some course in edX)...
You are very right.
Knowing the data types and analysis types is very important...that should actually be the first goal and this can be learned in a day or two, I believe. It's not something that would or should delay one from still starting in Excel, because in there, one gets to see the various data types at play.
The analysis types become more understandable when/if anyone takes Statistics (at least begin by understanding the philosophy).

If you have data, go to Coursera and enroll for Google data analysis professional certification. If you are as rich as I am, apply for financial aid.

cheesy cheesy Yes, yes, yes! No one should let finances stop them from learning and they do help out a lot with financial aid.
I also believe that course/certification would be very nice for anyone who looks into it. Google has done a lot of work to simplify virtually the whole data analysis process. They have put together a fine blend of soft and hard skills that are in demand.

It depends on the gadgets you have at your disposal. For instance, I have a good laptop, phone, lots of data to burn, and about 4 to 5 hours which I can study with everyday. Some people would tell you they do not have a laptop for study. I personally don't think phones can be used to effectively learn and practice data analysis.

Also, do you enjoy reading more or you prefer videos? These and many more would determine how I can help you out
.

Lastly, do you know python or have used Power bi?
To butress your point, @ Gidicars,
@Kaymax222 can go through the thread and see that excel, PBI, SQL, Tableau, Python are the most frequent tools & languages to learn.

If s/he is brand new to any of these, then I would personally suggest the following route:
Excel - SQL - PBI - Tableau - Python.

My reason for this is that excel is the "mothership" of all, if not most of these data viz/spreadsheet tools (including google spreadsheet).
Having a good grasp of excel will ensure smooth sailing in PBI and Tableau.
SQL should be next or in tandem with excel because then one can see the similarities and differences with respect to how both of them deal with data cleaning through their functions.

Python should be after one is proficient to a certain degree in the 4 prior tools (in my opinion).

@Kaymax222 can go to the following link to download the workbook tutorial which takes one through some very important excel formulas.

I thought to share this link as I believe it will be very useful for all who watch it.

It's about creating the "right" content with the "appropriate context". Doing this will lead to a profitable transaction with respect to money, value, etc.
With respect to DA/BA/DA/DE aspirants or even those with years in the game, this sort of information is ever-green and one could pick a nugget or two from it.

As an example:
1. A DA/BA who is tasked - by a sports apparel company - with reporting the ACCOUNT OWNERS and their respective PROFIT for the top 20 regions over a period of Q1-Q4.
Instead, S/he shows reports SALES for those regions from Q1-Q3...
...high volume sales does NOT equal profit!
Q1-Q3 does NOT equal Q1-Q4.
The DA/BA did not put the client/stakeholder's request into proper context.

S/he could have asked questions such as:
In what way(s) do you expect this data to help you? (It could be that they are looking to close down/consolidate some stores that aren't performing nationwide. The sales report will not cut it as high volume sales does not mean profit.
How do you intend to finally use the data?
Are there other associated data that could assist you in making your decision?
etc, etc, etc...

You must ask the right questions with respect to the client's end goals/objectives.
You must prepare and analyze the right data in the context of the project objective.
You learn Excel/Power BI in the context of a DA/BA/DS, etc, and not in the context of say a chemistry teacher. (Know what in excel is vital to the lifeblood of your career track. I believe this has been exhausted throughout the 105 pages of this wonderful thread!)
Always learn/know the foundations in anything as this will heavily support the structure in the future, same with excel!

As an example:
You want to cook indomie noodles.
You have a base of water.
Then you have the raw indomie.
Then the appropriate spices.

You want to cook jollof rice.
You have a base of water.
Then you have the raw rice.
Then the appropriate spices.

They both have a common base of water...this is how excel is!
Learn the foundation and then branch out to advanced topics with your area of specialty in mind. You do not want to waste your time learning ALL of excel. Have a clear direction.
Lastly, imagine trying to cook jollof rice and what you use are indomie and its spices! This is out of "context" with respect to the objective of cooking jollof rice.
Do NOT serve your customer Indomie when what they asked for is Jollof rice! They may never transact with you in the future!
When in doubt, ask, ask, and ask again.

Please enjoy the video below.

#4 Whoever enters into seclusion, while observing all its rules & then recites it 70,000x, God will subdue its ruhaniyyas to serve him, he‘ll become loved by the people, God will also subjugate rebelious people to him willingly or unwillingly, clear all his internal ailments & no matter will be hard for him to conquer hence forth.

#5 Whoever envisages danger (killers, robbers, kidnappers etc) should quickly lay his hand over his head & recite it, God will sheild him from any harm no matter their numbers, they wont be able to do him any harm.

ikupakuti:
....VERSE OF CONCERN Cont‘d

#10 Whoever secluded & recites it 3K while placing his hand on his chest, such shall never fall sick again (God will reconfigure his anti-bodies to the highest level of resistance to fight & conquer any intruder into his system), nobody will be able to harm him from among men & jinns.

#11 Whoever suffers nightmares from the jinns should recite it 11x before bed, God shall deliver him from such.

#12 Whoever strives to be reciting it all the time, standing, sitting, walking, etc God will provide him the goodness of this life & the next, he shall procure the love of the holy prophet (saw) until he begins to see him, if he lives long & did that 4 40yrs, he shall never lose sight of him (saw) for once.

THE END
I shared this VERSE OF CONCERN by Ikupakuti with someone very close to me almost 2 years ago after he complained about everything being strenuous and stagnant in his life. This I had been aware of but for him to open his mouth and express himself the way he did, I knew that things had really choked him up!
I didn't hear back from him except for the one or two texts to say hello.
Then we spoke at length yesterday and he explained what happened after the dua was given to him.
He said despite his situation especially with finances, he still tried to save up as much as he could to carry out this dua as his mind was made up immediately he got it.
He decided to leave the township to look for those mallams who haven't been corrupt by township life and they set to work.
He decided to do 7,000x verse of concern as he felt that 3,000x was too small and 70,000x was beyond his budget and capacity.
Not long after the exercise, he said he began to receive small contracts here and there, people would all of a sudden begin to look for him to come execute some work, etc.
He said favours from Allah were just coming in unannounced.
His health even got better!

He said it's as if he never saw the verse his entire life but that's not the case smiley - he now recites it 313x on Fridays with lots of Salawatul Rasul, S.A.W.
Now, he said his goal is to arrange to carry out the 70,000x because he did 7,000x and it's like this for him, so how would it be like after 70k? cheesy

I am so happy for him because I know how much he toiled in life.
I am sharing this to encourage us all to keep seeking Allah because people sometimes may feel that these duas don't really do anything, or they lose hope and begin to despair, etc.
Let's all be patient as Allah has continuously instructed because He promises to always be with the patient ones.

Salam Alaikum and Jumma Mubarak to Everyone.

I have not watched this video yet, but I did read the other thread that was advising others not to celebrate Mawlid Al Nabiy, S.A.W.
My heart is heavy! Ignorance is the new cool, I guess.

This is what I can say:
1. It's crystal clear that a lot of people find it very stressful to think critically - they would prefer to just CTRL C and CTRL V from others like parrots.
2. It is the Muslims themselves who are burning down the banner of Islam and the non-believers are watching in glee!
3. I have seen so many Muslims who vehemently oppose the celebration of the Mawlid but they celebrate HALLOWEEN with all pomp and fanfare! The grandparents plus kids and grandkids spend so much on costumes and attend whatever fanfare is available during such period!
I asked the adults why this and not Mawlid and they said Mawlid is bidah and haram while halloween is not religious but a holiday! shocked shocked shocked
4. Very soon, a more insane group will spring up and tell people not to fast on Mondays because that would be associating the fast to Rasul Allah's (S.A.W) birthday which was on a Monday! It's all a question of time.
5. It's no surprise that Allah Admonishes mankind in the Quran on so many occasions of not employing Tadabbur:
Q47:27
6. An eminent, luminous personality himself that Allah says is light!
Q5:15

I pray we are not of those who look on yet cannot see nor of those whose hearts have been veiled by hypocrisy.
I pray we are not of those described in the Quran as deaf, dumb, blind, and with dead hardened hearts.
Q2:18
Q2:171

May Allah forgive and bless us all, Amin.
May Allah's eternal blessings continue to be upon the best of mankind; RasulAllah S.A.W, his family, his followers, and on everyone, Amin.

lots of people seemed to be confused about Jinn impregnating human. The same way we had dialogue on it last week. In this week's lecture Sheikh said he got several people asked him salt it and he clarified... Even in the light of Akudaya.

He pointed out that Jinn can have intercourse with human but can not impregnate due to differences in genes. But Jinn can impregnate human is the Jin takes human form. You get to see this if you watch the whole lecture
This was my exact thought, so I asked someone about it last week, but I still haven't heard back from him.
I came to this realization because just as humans, jinns differ in their abilities. There are the heavy lifters with stupendous abilities and then there are the regular joes.
Some can take the form of a human and others are not able to do so, and I came to the conclusion that it's a peculiar type of jinn that is able to get a human female pregnant.
The unifying homogenous trait across the Jinn race is invincibility to mankind, except as Allah Wills...
This is just my own deduction and not written in stone.

Jinn sperm can also affect a child before conception if it somehow mixes with the human sperm before conception. This happens sometimes when a couple do not pray before having sex, the jinn has the ability to sleep with a woman at the same time as her husband. In this scenario there will a strand of the jinn DNA in the foetus during conception, we should note that it wasn't the jinns sperm that actually led to the conception, but a part of it mixed with the original human sperm that led to the conception.
Children like this are often very stubborn and sometimes have bad behaviours.
