Jamo90:
Thanks @Ladunal I'll check it out.

This would be a long read. Please pardon my typos.

I've been making some deep research on some of the topics discussed here recently but I'm particularly interested in about four, of which one would be our main focus now.

#I read movado's posts in the Islam and Spirituality section on the dreams she had probably as a result of the Dua of protection against Shaytan she's been involved in. I noted some of her concerns and points.

The Topic I've been pondering about is on Iwosan: The Cure to the enemy's Spiritual Arrow.

From my research, I discovered that there are more supplications and Dua on protection from Jinns and evil eye than on the duas and Cure from the effects of these ailments when they have already afflicted a person. "Ailments" in this context is restricted to the physical manifestation of spiritual attack through Stroke. I have spoken with people who claimed to have been shot or bitten by snake in the dream before they had paralysis of the hands and legs which has greatly affected their walking. It is not something that can be overlooked. You don't have to wait before it happens to someone close to you.

I'd have loved to read Ikupakuti's view on this subject.
Oga Empiree is right when he said we should seek knowledge on Islamic Spirituality because those shuyuks who have the knowledge are truly dying at a faster pace lately. When you remove Spirituality from Islam, you have certainly reduced it to other dead religions. One Vulture will become king over the dead bodies of a hundred Lions.

I'd like to read mostyg's view on this. I have read your posts on using Ruqyah to treat jinn possession in Islam. Are you aware about any correlation between evil eye, spiritual arrow, jinn possessions and Stroke?

It is not enough to Know the preventive measures of an ailment if the cure to the same ailment after it has afflicted a person is not known. This has led many people to go back to the enemy for assistance. How can a man who was bitten by a snake go to the herbalist, only to be told the only cure is to drink alcohol from a bottle that has a dead snake in it.

You'd be surprised at the number of people In this Islamic section who would cross carpet when the enemy gives them an uppercut. You can make Tahjud when you need financial help from Allah or when you have a case in court. But what do you do when you can't speak nor walk. Your family members have tried everything possible and are now suggesting that you be carried to one baba in Ijebu. You don't have access to Ruhaniyah like our Oga here Lol.

Your research on Islamic Spirituality would have made it easier for you to tell your family on what Surah to recite or which Sheikh in your contact list to call. A sheikh who will treat you by using the Combination of Quran, hadith and teachings of the Prophet (SAW)

I have been planning to embark on knowledge-seeking journey on issues like this just to have a first hand knowledge of how some afflictions are cured with the Power of Allah hidden in the Qur'an. This will take time, money, perseverance and of course, persuasion of these shuyuks. I pray Allah makes it easy Insha Allah.

Please pardon my type of Questions on here. I have lived amongst people who have received serious thrashing from Shaytan probably due to their Ignorance.

My friend's Mom rented a shop at **** Lagos Island. She went to the shop to inspect the new tiles and paintings done at the Shop. She slipped, fell flatly on the floor and lost her sight immediately. How did slipping cause blindness?
My friend relocated within a month to another state because he was scared something would happen to his newly married wife and unborn baby.

# I know for a fact that a jinn/demon is involved in this attack.

I listened to a recorded audio of Islamic exorcism posted on this forum months ago. The man was bewitched by a relative years before the the exorcism took place but the jinns sent were waiting for the perfect time to attack. He was a devoted Muslim and couldn't be attacked easily. They followed him around for about 8 years until he backslided and they came in for finishing. He went crazy upstairs and things went downhill from there.
An 80 year old jinn is still a baby because most of them sometimes live for hundreds of years. They know your Great Grandparents. it's very likely you'll die before them and they will still see your Grandchildren. Who's at the receiving end here? Humans or Jinns?

Just as Empiree used to say here that nkan nbe faa. Lol

In Summary, I want to know if there is anyone that knows anything about the kind of knowledge I seek or anywhere I could get it because some of the things I want to know are things some people served their Sheikh for years before they could get. I don't think that should be the case nowadays. You don't have to live with a sheikh for so many years before he can share knowledge and experience with you. I might be wrong though. What kind of treatment is used to cure paralysis of the limbs that occurred as a result of Evil eye or attacks? I think I read somewhere that A Sahaba read suratul Fathia to cure evil eye? Do we have people like that nowadays?

I once asked Ikupakuti that "which is more powerful and dangerous, The Devil or Ignorance?" He said in quote "Ignorance is the prime adversary of man. The plots of the devil are weak in the face of knowledge."

I pray he comes back someday to shed more light on some of the topics discussed in his absence. May Allah protect him and everyone reading this.

Everything I have written here is my opinion. Correct me if I'm wrong in any of my points.
Salam

Cc: Empiree Ladunal Mostyg Ikupakuti (Lol)

Everyone's full contribution would be greatly appreciated.

@ Jamo90,
This is a very good analysis and question.
If I get you correctly, you are wondering how to Islamically treat illness/disease caused by Jinns even after successfully driving them away, correct?
More like how to clean up the effects of a loose dam/water faucet; once it has stopped?

Just as a door leads into a house/building, so also does the auric field "lead" into man.
The aura is non-physical and electromagnetic in nature and is very sensitive and dynamic as a result of the ever-changing states of man, such as happiness, sadness, sorrow, worry, anger, jealousy, envy, joy, etc.
It will report ANY and EVERYTHING that you experience within you, so it can never tell lies as a tongue would.
It is somewhat like a "dashboard" that shows the states/levels of:
physical fitness
emotional fitness
mental fitness
spiritual fitness
Allah-conscious fitness
etc

Just like the physical body, it can be in a state of health or illness. It can be very strong or very weak.
One of the ways in which this door can become weakened is through the consumption of alcohol. Alcohol can make the aura to:
tear
become saggy
contort
collapse
blow-out
crack
leak
bulge
etc

Note that other things such as zina, eating pork, anger, rage, "bad mouth"etc can equally achieve these faulty features of the aura.
Any or a combination of all the "faulty features" is what the jinns wait for in order to take action.
The faulty feature becomes a door/entrance for them into the person and when they gain entrance, their first attack is usually to the nervous system "electrical wiring" and this results in the decrease in the spinning of another non-physical system known as the "chakras".
The chakras are energy turbines that gather, filter, and distribute different types of energy needed to the entire body of man.
It can spin clock-wise (mostly health), anti-clockwise (mostly ill health) and zero spin (critical/impending death).
There are reported to be 114 chakras in the human body..."Wa Allahu Aalam"
7-12 of the chakras are very well known. They are the major chakras.
The chakras are what enable the aura to show the state of man in living colours.
The jinns can "see" the auras and chakras easily and hence, able to attack and manipulate as they please.

You particularly mentioned stroke.
Stroke is commonly a nervous system issue...and as you may know, perpetrators with deep pathological and psychological issues will commit a crime and stay within the vicinity to see how their victims would suffer in anguish; as this gives them a sort of fulfillment/ release/joy. There's no difference with the jinns. They do the same thing. They will stay in the human body to enjoy the destructions and it is only appropriate ruqya that can expel them successfully.
Once they have been expelled, then treatment to heal the after-effects can commence by Allah's will.

This sort of illness/disease CANNOT be cured by your regular doctor or medicine from your local pharmacy.
Why? Because the jinns will place "brands", "markers", "objects", etc in the auric field of their interest, which could be one, two or all the auric layers!!! May Allah protect us all. The brands are specifically to denote that "you belong to them" and a sort of territory marker, like when dogs urinate in a particular place. It can also be a landmark to invite other jinns for the "event", so they don't miss their way! Something like"
"Make a left turn and enter the first compound with a blue GP tank..."
How can a regular doctor see these brands, objects, markers that are not physical in nature, and his instruments cannot even detect? To make matters worse, a lot of them do not believe Allah exists, neither do they believe in the unseen!
Asides the service of a raqi, someone versed in the use of herbs for healing metaphysical illness/diseases would also be needed.
I will only give 2 examples of herbs that could be used for treatment, specifically because jinns so much HATE them with a passion, but very beneficial to man. They are:
indian costus
citrus medica
Indian costus can be used as a drop via the nostrils so it gets to the brain, for those very stubborn jinns that refuse to leave. This is just one application.
Citrus medica peels can be dried and used as incense for the home. This is just one application.
The herb expert should ideally have taqwa and also be versed in the use of quran for healing (not necessarily as a raqi would). For example, to employ JUNUD ALLAH to finish off the very vengeful and stubborn jinns, use:
Q 8:9
Q 3: 124 - 126
Recite over drink, shower, food to eat. Or write it out and wash it to drink, bathe, eat. Inshaallah, health will be restored.
Shaykh Empiree already gave out some aya shifaa on page 83 where this question was asked. Use them as well.
In addition, rainwater is fully charged by Allah and is very beneficial as a drink and using to bathe too.

The Quran is just so dynamic in any configurations and needs to be interacted with on a dynamic level too.
The recitation of Quran and zikr is to heal and give strength to both the physical body/organs and the non-material body/organs. With time, the auric fields and chakras would heal and function in health, which would also directly impact the physical body and organs.
Everything that happens starts from the non-physical aspects into the physical.
A lot of medical treatments are just masking the physical symptoms and never treating the root cause. Why? Because they do not believe in the unseen, neither do they have the means to approach and successfully treat the illness.

Not believing that aura or chakras exist does not in any way make them non-existent. They are as real as your fingers, eyes, and body.
When Allah made mention of Shaytan and his tribe "Qabyluhu" watching you from where you don't see them, please do know that what they are "watching" is the "ENTIRETY" of what makes up a person/man. That is, the different layers from the most subtle to the most physical.
Q 7:27.

Wa Alaikum Salam.

For eye pain, recite Surah Qaf verse 22; three times after every Salat and blow on fingers and rub eyes.

For back pain:
recite Surah Yasin completely and blow on fingers and rub affected area.
Or recite surah Yasin verse 58 313 times with hand placed on the pain area and blow on fingers and rub affected area.
Or recite Surah Bani Israil verse 105 with hand placed on the pain area and blow on fingers and rub affected area.

May Allah bless you with complete healing, InshaAllah.

Wa Alaikum Salam.
Please ensure you have done medical checkup to rule out any heart arrhythmia or thyroid issues.
Did any of the loved ones you lost die in such ways? Could that be why you feel death is hovering around you?
Thoughts/dreams could come from Allah, Shaitan or from yourself.
This thought is surely NOT from Allah, so we are left with Shaitan and yourself.
Sleep should be an enjoyable and restful experience and being deprived of it is in and of itself a great illness. Also do check medically that you do not have insomnia.
I would encourage you to engage in zikrs to induce sleep, peace and calm such as:

1. Astagfirullah....forgiveness
2. Surah Al-Anbiya verse 87 .The prayer of Dhul Al Nun in the belly of the whale "LA ILLAHA ILLA ANTA SUBHANNAKA INNI KUNTU MINAZZALIMIN". ...forgiveness and to come out of any sort of darkness.
3. Any Salawat on RasulAllah....calm, peace, tranquility.
4. Surah Al - Ahzab verse 56....calm, peace, tranquility and sleep.
5. Surah Ar-Rad verse 28...against depression.
6. Surah Al-Munimun verses 97 & 98....against any evil suggestions from shaitan, eliminate mind chatter.
7. Surah Yasin verse 58....calm, serenity, tranquility.
8. Surah Ad Duha...against depression, restlessness, calm, peace, tranquillity.
9. Surah Al-Inshirah....against depression, restlessness, calm, peace, tranquillity.
10. Al-Majid (The Excellent).... to strengthen the heart.
11. Al-Salam (The Giver of Peace)....calm, peace, serenity, tranquility

I pray Allah heals you completely and InshaAllah you'll regain your sleep, Amin.

Well, it is simple. Even if devil disguises and brings "good healing", determining factor is sharia. We learned from hadith that shaytan gave a man ayat Qursi against himself(satan).

Devil is a liar but he brought something good and truthful. Malaika can teach a muslim this medicine as well

Side note, you live in Dubai?

Naam, 99 lies and 1 truth, if any at all, lol!
Yes, Malaika can certainly teach this and that's why one needs to be in a ready state mentally, spiritually and heart needs to come clean too.
As long as their "food" is constant, they will surely pay visit.

No, not Dubai. In the US.

I have stated this several times in this thread and on this platform several times. Knowledge of sharia and fiqh is a must before delving into ilm tasawwuf and ilm mediciniyyah grin grin grin cheesy cheesy What ignorant ones dont understand is that Allah's Names and Attributes are on these leafs and all herbs generally. They have nothing to do with herbalist only. They are for mankind. The same leafs etc are transformed to powder and capsules in modern medicines and they use them. Why not condemn that?. This particular leaf you talked about i once dealt with that back in the days too, II was sent to get it certain time from the bush. This is part of what nabi said in the hadith I cited earlier. Ewe nbe. Egbo nbe. How individual uses it is determine factor.

The difference btw a true muslim in the line of prophetic medicine/jalabi and babalawo is this ayah Kahf 39

وَلَوْلَا إِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّ

We used to say this when we entered farm before picking leafs.

but Alawo would invoke thier deities before picking leafs.

Subhanallah! this is a clear depiction of different paths leading to the goal/destination, but the issue is: Is one using the straight or crooked path?
Because even the devil can "cause/bring about" what looks like healing, as long as obeisance is made to him!
Islam for Muslims / Re: ...... by movado19: 5:10am On Jan 18, 2020
Empiree:
indeed. What do you think?

I think and believe that one should be firmly grounded in Fiqh and Shariah in order not to fall away from the straight path when it comes to things such as these.
I clearly understand why the "masses" are not encouraged to delve into certain areas/realms; because they are not equipped with the sort of knowledge to discern what is acceptable or not Islamically...it becomes a sort of slippery slope and a form of trial.
I clearly remember a long time ago when we had someone close who became seriously ill and this man who was very versed Islamically asked one of the people around to enter the bush at a certain time of the day and described the specific plant he needed to prepare the remedy for the illness.
He said the plant only appears during a specific time/hours of the day and after that, it can't be seen again.
Anyway, the leaves were brought to him and he prepared the remedy which the sick guy drank some of and then took a bath with the remainder. It was nothing short of Allah's miracle to see this guy within minutes move around and so agile as if nothing ever happend to him!
This man did not go to any higher institution or herbal school or such for this sort of knowledge. Everything he knew was directly from Allah, but some Muslims will see this and call it haram and even label him a non-muslim, simply because they are not familiar with that sort of knowledge and their claim that it is not stated in the quran or hadith about certain plants appearing and disappearing during certain times of the day; or that the man's belief system on plants and herbs tallies with that of awos/babalawos, etc
As I stated earlier, this sort of knowledge may not be for everyone, but because one does not know or believe in it doesn't make it haram or remove the practitioners out of the fold of Islam, provided they did not call on anyone/dieties other than Allah and are within the confines of Shariah.

Islam for Muslims / Re: ...... by movado19: 6:57pm On Jan 17, 2020
Empiree:
First all, since we talking about islamic issue here, Jalabi (yoruba ascent) is in islam in itself in essence. I am only gonna emphasize on the essence as I did previous years. It is proven from Quran and Sunnah that it exist in islam, Jalib. So from islamic point of view, Jalabi means iwosan, period. Iwosan is simply divided into two; physical and spiritual. The Quran is not only a guidance for mankind but Allah has also made it a spiritual cure and healing for all types of ailments. This includes treatment of all worldly problems, physical and psychological ailments, and spiritual (evil eye, sihr, and so on.) Allah has clearly told us that the words of the Quran are a “shifa” (healing) for all and, therefore, when used with real belief in one’s heart, this form of treatment can bring miraculous cure to all forms of ailments. Allah says in the Quran:

And We send down of the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe… (Quran, Surah Al-Israa, 17:82)

As for other forms of treatment, Islam does not discourage the use of treatments available to us through medical and other sciences. On the contrary, the use of such treatments is encouraged by the teachings of the noble prophet (s.a.w.) who sought the treatment of illnesses and diseases for himself and urged his followers to do the same. Thus, seeking medical treatment for the cure of diseases is part of the prophet’s tradition.

The Noble Nabi said:

“For every disease there is a medicine, and if that medicine is applied to the disease, he will recover by Allah’s Leave.” And he (s.a.w.) said: “Allah has not sent down any disease but He has also sent down the cure; the one who knows it, knows it and the one who does not know it, does not know it.”

Based on the above, it is clear that Islamic teachings fully support the use of all forms of treatment because the underlying principle is that Allah has created cures for all diseases. The key is to ensure that the right type of treatment is applied for the right type of ailment. The only condition in Islam is that all forms of treatment are allowed as long as they are not haram (against Islamic teachings).

So based on this we can infer that any forms of medicines used by Alfa in yorubaland are okay PROVIDED they are not haram. Allah created us in yorubaland knowing too well what goes on in our community that other communities don't have like West and Arabs . This is why Alfas in yorubaland sometimes use the same elements used by traditional worshippers. For instance, elewe omo where they sell both haram and halal. Babalawo, Alfa, Pastors go to them to buy their needs. Going there is not the problem at all. Problem is what you buy and what it is used for. We all go to supermarkets regardless of what we beliefs, isnt?. So in yorubaland there are some ailments they never heard of in western and arab world. We have these ailments and we have cures for them without having to seek medical experts abroad.

With regards to this phrase that I highlighted above, "Ela rowa, Ela rowa , Orunmila rowa", if i tell you that i never heard of it before I would be lying to you but I never heard of it in real life except movies grin and till this moment i have no idea what it means, wallahi. Allah i can say is that it is incantation. We have incantation in islam. It is called ruqya in arabic and ofo in yoruba. But we yoruba people are ashamed of our language sometimes due to attribute(s) given to them. If you mentioned "ofo" to your fellow yoruba people they simply assume you are alawo etc but that's very wrong. Ofo is simply "word" we utter. So islam does not forbade ofo in as much it is not shirk or haram. I will appreciate if you can tell me the meaning of "Ela rowa, Ela rowa , Orunmila rowa" in order for me to determine whether it is halal or haram. As for Orunmila, there is nothing divine about him. He was simply a human being. They coined the word. Orunmila means Orun (ohun) lo mo eni ti o ma la. You can translate that to english. Problem however is that, yoruba traditionalists have taken credit for seemly innocent words or phrases and turned it into some sort of deity which is why average muslims would love to distance themselves from some of these yoruba nonsense including myself.

See all these things, gberre sinsin( making incisions), preparing aseje (making concoctions) and sometimes ipese sise (making sacrifices) they arent shirk for as long as you dont make them shirk. They are used for ruqya or iwosan in yorubaland. Alfa, alawo or pastor can use it. But if it has to do with kadara, then I have problem with that bcus anything that has to do with kadara, we already have many dua we can do. Dua can cure bad kadara but dua alone can not and will not cure ailment bcus we arent prophets and we are given green light to use medicines for cure of ailments. So if you see a muslim who is sick and refuses to see doctor or get medicine and only rely on dua, such is ignorant.

So gbere sinsin back in the days had to do with curing ailments (not really something serious). Many of us have it on our faces. Usually it was due to giri (tremor, shock) etc. They quickly get hold of the baby and applied gbere they already prepared and baby was alright. This is a known fact. Again, it boils down to as long as the contents arent haram. Aseje, yes, there are cases like this where this prescription applied. It also has to do with ailment and aseje is recommended. That's animal (eran igbe), eyele, adiye etc I cited Antar Laniyan as example earlier. But ipese, by the sound of the word itself, it is clear what it means and this is haram. We dont need to mince words. If you prepare ipese, to whom you want to make the sacrifice?. Awon aye, abi?. Nonsense.

If it involves ailment and sacrifice is recommended, it is very simple. I have posted many duas on this platform over the years. The only sacrifice that is permissible here is to organize dua like yasin and the sick person sit or lie down in the middle. We have done this before in the 90s. We organized dua yasin, jabariyya, khutba etc for Allah to restore the woman's health but this was after physical medicines were applied by us. We organized the prayer to ka se nle and Allah accepted it and restored her health and made sadaqa. This is sacrifice i know. I dont know any sacrifice they take to orita meta. That's shirk. And of course there might be cases of extreme circumstances like i have narrated about Mr. A in this thread, remember?. But that was tira. So some alfa mixed yoruba thing with islam. Again, there is nothing wrong with mixing local medicines and "sunnah" medicine. It is all sunnah as long as nothing haram in it. But if you apply arab culture and arab mentality, you may reject yoruba medicine and want to uphold "sunnah" medicine which i found to be ignorant bcus every country on earth deals with their own certain situation. We are not homogeneous people.

That said, all sorts of ogun (vooodoo) that have to do with kadara like ose awure, ose itaja, afaro, aworo, agbelepota, eyonu aye, eyonu agba etc all these are haram and lead to shirk. We have istigfar to replace these things. Eyonu agba ko, eyonu omode ni. All of them are haram but it doesnt mean labelling alfa who does this a kafir. Not at all. With time he will dump them. I was told by my sheikh that the reason some alfa do this in yorubaland is bcus of the way Islam came to them. They might practice islam from their babalawo father, grandfather, uncle etc who reverted to islam and dropped all major activities considered shirk but held on to minor things he consider "oro aye". So narrating orunmila story and all that is nothing as long as he doesnt take orunmila as deity. But all these things i have said have nothing to do with Jalabi. Jalabi is iwosan (both physical and spiritual) and isegun. This is separate. Isegun is halal on the condition i have mentioned. No alfa in history of yoruba condemned isegun. Ebo is what they condemned. So it depends on alfas. They have different fields. Some are strictly about making dua for clients and sacrifice animal to Allah. Some alfas are onisegun but they dont have energy to make long dua. Thats not their area. And some alfa combined both which is the best. My sheikh combined both.

Example, a UK based Nigerian woman in her 60s back in the 90s had stoke. She was brought from UK to nigeria to our house on wheelchair. We went to the market to buy ewe ati egbo and epo igi of different types. These things were used for her and within months she walked back to UK if you know what i mean. Question is, where did my sheikh learn this from?. None. Allah naturally teaches some people by His Divine Wisdom. You just simply know it without going to school. It could be through dream, meditation etc

Assalamu Alaikum Brothers, i lost my grandfather and and teacher Modibbo Iya who passed away on 14th after a brief illness at the age of 97. Please put him in your prayers. I remember the last prayer he gave before his demise, recite waqee'a 41 fatiha 41 after Magrib prayers for 41 days! Allah will grant you all your wishes no matter how. I was waiting for him to find one of his books where he kept the sirri of fatiha and Basmalah but as Allah will have it he left us! May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus.

May Allah forgive your granddad all his lapses and bless him with endless nur and place him in the best company, Amin. So sorry for your loss.

Asalam alaykum
Please I need Duas
For a brother hoping to get married ASAP no matter the hurdle.

Cus honestly it seems so difficult to find a sister of my choice thats willing.

Salam Alaikum.

This dua is from surah Yasin.

Q36:81, 82, 83
1. For verse 81, recite it and then answer (in any language that is easy for you) by saying: "YES", Allah is able to do all this and also (.........) mention your hurdle in the brackets; then also recite ALLAHU -AL KHALAAQUL ALIM, YA-QADIR.
2. Continue recitation into verse 82 and at its end, (in any language that is easy for you) say: "By the powers You granted the letters KAF and NUN, Allah please ......... (mention your hurdle).
3. Continue recitation into verse 83 and at its end, say: "Subhanallah Wa Alhamdulillah - Allahu Malik Ul Mulk.

NOTE: You can choose to recite the whole surah and then follow the above when you get there or just take only the three verses above and recite.
You can recite as much as you are able to. The most important thing here is your intention, Iman and Yaqin.
Try to make it as frequent as possible, preferably during Tahajjud.
You may also recite anytime sitting, standing, laying down, driving, etc. It is up to you what you prefer.
Do sadaka as often as you can and no matter how little.
May Allah grant you your heart's request, Amin.

The thought of having a whatsapp group should be quashed. Had the discussions on this thread been on whatsapp, a lot of people including the person pushing for the whatsapp thing, wouldn't have had access to such.

If you have classified information you don't feel the need to share, you can keep it to yourself or you let those who are interested reach you. It's that simple.

Every once in a while, people reread this thread and share some of their new perspective - something that wouldn't be possible on WhatsApp.

I strongly agree with Hkana and YUNGCONCEPT11. The spirit of this thread which was initiated by emekaRaj should be respected and maintained. Look at how far it has gone despite all the cycles of highs and lows. That should count for something.
I, for example, may not always be active but I definitely am always reading from past discussions for research and with easy navigation at that. Just imagine trying to do such on WhatsApp!
Please, let us keep sharing and gaining from each other and if posting certain duas causes anyone discomfort, them don't post it. You could always contact whoever you wish to share it with, etc.
May Allah continue to bless and safeguard us all, Amin.

Jazakhumullahi khayran for this advice bro.. I havetaken note of the recommended verses how many will you recommend i do daily... May Almighty Allah bless you abundantly

Amin thank you and to you too.

You may start with 7x, 11x or 33x after every Salat, depending on how many you can do. Then for tahajjud, if you can dedicate time to do 111x - 313x and stick to it for a while, that would be very nice. Don’t forget to ask Allah in your own way or language what you need.
After some time when you feel you are able to do even more during tahajjud, then do x2, x3 ...... of those numbers. Also ensure you do lots of istigfaar, salawat on Nabi, and Laillaha Ilallah at least 100x before commencing and then salawat when you finish.
Inshaallah, Allah will grant to you what you desire.

I just feel like this place is not meant for me, jinns will disturb here and all sort of things comes to my mind and i wont be able to make any adhkar in that environment. Is it my mind that is having issue or what is really happening at d moment?

Salam Alaikum,
I don't think I am in a position to say definitely what the issue is. However, I beleive this presents to you an opportunity to delve into yourself and constantly ask WHY you feel this way..and this could be as a result of so many things, some of which may be:
Strongly and vehemently told to stay clear from anything of such nature as it is pure evil, invites jinns, of which a sort of psychosomatic symptoms are being experienced by you. For example, because a lot of us grew up being told in the strongest of terms of how filthy and abhorrent the meat of the swine or pig is, a lot of us can't even stand the smell of it being cooked anywhere without wanting to throw up or just exit such environment immediately. This is just one example.
Dive deep within yourself and ask why you feel this way.
Also, have you ever opened any of these hangings to see for yourself what is written inside? Did it have any elements of shirk or was it purely Quran?
If after much introspection you still aren't able to come up with a root cause, then it's wise to just stay clear of such places as much as you can; as I am aware that there are certain things we feel a revulsion towards without any clear explanations...for example, there are certain shades of the colour blue that make me terribly sick. Everyone thought it was just a passing thing or something just plainly strange, until years down the line, I was instructed to stay clear off certain blue hues as Allah has created souls differenty and mine is very much averse to those hues...so, I wasn't MAD afterall?!
Anyway, I hope you are able to catch my drift sha?
The more you go inward and introspect/investigate, of course with Allah's guidance, the more things about yourself will become clearer, InshaAllah.

Thanks so much my sheikhs in the house, ive picked my answer from ur replies. May Allah increase his love and his apostle in our hearts and may we continue to dwell in his blessings.
Another question is i do have feelings of not been comfortable in a house where their is anytging tied at the entrance and i cant make my adhkar in such house, i always feel like my soul is caged. Please is there anything wrong with me ?
even if it is quran scripts, i feel d same.

When you say you feel like your soul is caged, could you expand more on it? Do you get a heaviness/constriction in your chest/heart area?

Are those who encountered it more closer to Allah or is their any adhkar done specially by these people? Coz i heard people do c it or there is a certain level of spirituality before one ascends this level?

Please don't feel that just because others see or encounter and maybe you don't then there is something wrong with you.
Just as Bakar1 pointed out, some people are born with these gifts while others have to toil to a certain extent. There are some born with it who are greatly misusing it and not thankful for such blessings from Allah.
It is just like some people born into wealth who have no idea what it means to toil and work for a kobo in their lives.
While others also born into wealth are very cognisant of this immense blessing and do right accordingly.
There are people who were not born into wealth and paid their dues through prayers and diligence and are now in money.
I hope the example has made it clearer regarding these things?
Also, for some people, it may not be seeing things but feeling of things as well as hearing of things.
Just study yourself very well and pray always to Allah for guidance and protection in all things.

You see your ruh everything is centered around energies both positive and negative is it has to be at the right balance of being positively charged to get access to certain realms in which you see truth for true and see pure for pure.

The thing there is how are you going to maintain that balance it's all up to you can you keep up is what should be in your mind.

You see almighty Allah likes an act no matter how small but should be consistent he might want to test you in the sense that after that 40 days you might not even see results but might think well am just suffering my self and truth that's not it, look for an Ibada that fits your energy and time, Islam is not hard it's simple the act is not mandatory look for what you think can work for you and hope for the best.

But prayer it self needs patience as I have come to know it's not black magic that once you put this act and two together it starts instantly even it's by Almighty Allah will the black magic worked, with Dua and prayers you have to be patient hope for the best and be cool no matter the outcome.

Prayers, duas are like you digging a well how close you are to Allah is what determines the tool you use for the digging you might not get water for a month when digging with a tool of less importance while you might get results within a week or an hour depends on your instrument. In which that instrument is what determines how close you are to your Rabb.

Some people are pure like I have stated before depends on your configuration some people from birth are Walliy of Allah others struggle to reach there you can't compare both, one would be more than the other in rank.

(That's why some people you see them even if they sin sometimes they still have that grace from almighty Allah but some others that worked for it if they sin they have to start again to get their ruh in the pure form)

The context above is on closeness to the almighty so just know no two people are the same someone might get a response even when he eats meat and fish and all because of how he was configured while others need to abstain from food containing blood.

Some on getting to a height go for seclusion to get the heart and service for Allah alone just like the people of the past Mariam the mother of Isa was in seclusion too till she met the Spirit, some prophets too went into seclusion too, going into seclusion is good too it aids it but they are two types seclusion the one of the heart you could mingle with people or seclusion of the whole body you in a room alone.

But mind you, these days it's hard to seclude yourself for the body unless you have a good business and you married because who would make things work for you and how would you feed and all.

But anyone you decide it's all up to you.
You could create your own formula yourself and see, that was kuti's formula and it worked for him and might be working for others too.
If you have any you could go by it also

There are so many righteous path to reach almighty Allah so far you on the right path rightly guided you could use anyone close to you that match your energy.

Your God won't put on you more than you can bear you too don't put in yourself more than you can bear.

If you walk to your Lord he would come to you running and if you run he would come to you flying.

Thank you so much, Bakar1.
Wallahi, I could highlight every sentence in this your writeup as it is all very true.
Know yourself and your capacity and then start from there.
Allah's grace on one person may not be the same for another person.
What one person gets with just a few recitations, yours may have to be continuous for a while before seeing results, et.

Salam alaykum bro i am blessed with the gift of performing tahajjud everyday. No matter how tired I am before my night sleep i will still find it easy to wake up i hardly yawn, feel sleepy or tired when awake. I noticed i am always happy and a kind of calmness and tranquility descend upon me for the whole of the day apart from other spiritual signs.on days i did not perform tahajjud i notice i am always heavily depressed no matter how hard i try to be happy. I wanted to live like a normal person and also out of laziness i stopped and also slack in my religous obligations. This affected my life negatively. I became heavily depressed and resorted to engage in sinful acts my grades in uni are poor and there is no way i can graduate with the minimum grade requirement for the labour market
For a young man few years from his mid twenties
How can i achieve all my great dreams and be successful with this my poor grade. Will Almight Allah have mercy on me due to my sins. The future looks bleak

I have learnt to hold on to my gift and i will appreciate if anyone can tell me how to maximize the use of it
Cc movado19,empire,mustsucceed,aumeehn

Wa Alaikum Salam.
Subhanallah! You are indeed blessed by Allah to be able to observe Tahajjud every night. This in and of itself is a very unique gift to you. Allah has made it very easy for you to engage in it, so please, never lose sight of that and never downplay this blessing. Some people set up to 4 or 5 different alarms to wake them for this and yet are unable to even move their toes out of bed.
This is your spiritual food or sustenance for your ruh hence the reason you feel very happy or good after performing it. Allah has promised that in His remembrance do hearts find rest Q13:28. I also believe Sheikh Empiree mentioned this verse earlier.
Depression is a spiritual illness and can't be treated materially. It's treatment and your recovery is in what you were doing before which is tahajjud. Please make your niyah and go back to it with an open heart. Allah will always welcome you back, InshaAllah.
Remember that there's no bad deed Allah will not forgive provided you seek repentance and forgiveness genuinely. Q39:53 is like a soothing and healing balm on the hearts of those who despair of the mercy of Allah. It provides hope and solace. No Muslim should ever hold despair in their hearts as it leads to disbelief after sometime.
It is only Allah that can give to you everlasting knowledge, wealth and happiness.
Q 2:282 - The end part with have Wa taqu Allah... to the verse end.
Q 4:113 - The end part with Wa Anzala Allahu... to verse end.
Repeating these two; one after the other is very excellent for wisdom, knowledge and understanding. When you think about Allah much, you thank Him much, you praise Him much, then He will open the gates of knowledge specifically from Himself. This one is not a matter of you went to school and have first class or third class, etc ...
I would like for you to let me know what you experience with the recitation of these two verses after sometime.
I hope this helps InshaAllah.

Must it be this manner?empiree have you done this?please egbon @empiree don't even try to smartly discourage me

Must it be this manner?

Nothing is a must, but based on what you are trying to achieve, then this is the fastest and surest route. It is to ensure the opening and reduce any blockages of your 'energy centers". They can't be blocked/clogged and you achieve that unique state...

100m what ? shocked. . every day?have you started?
Suratul Ikhlas ,3k every night? Kai haba!

However that aside, let's be all honest we are lazy. If we all sit and think, wealth of yesterday with emphasis on Muslims in Nigeria isn't like today Infact I don't think we have many that can boast wealth like that of yester years and if there are iam 100% sure they are taking same path of this people being super praying

We have strayed and prefer faster means. If we all watch we will see all the so called wealthy people have issues of wealth loss, and most depend on government but in those days it was pure business No dependancy on man and Allah opened the door.High % of wealthy men of today mix Quran and fettishness,so their wealth has limit and no blessing

Brother, there was a wealthy man that lent his state government money but he is now dead.

You see the secret of wealth if you want to have enormous and keep it:is not to joke with Quran, dhikr, and sadaqah ..be very very generous and enjoy doing it .EVEN ME I KNOW THIS BUT IAM LAZY

I have a Mallam who is sunnatic and my good pal .He usually gists me on prayers they do but refuses to tell me names which is good.I knew years back when a big man wanted something from government ,41 Mallam were gotten yasin was recited 41 daily together with some ayat from Quran for 10 days and each and every one of those Mallam had access to slaughter for sadaqah daily .so calculate. .OF COURSE THE BIG MAN GOT WHAT HE WANTED

Another time Quran was recited 1000 times over a period, but he said the 1000ce times mostly is big people that do it,I even jokingly asked him that ooh so iam a small person ? .see all of us reading books wondering how rich men do it,don't deceive your self, this is what I dare say all of them do

The truth is we all know the secret to prosperity but a lot of us are lazy or dont have the means to pay for it.One thing be careful who you approach to recite whole Qur'an for you be sure they are good and don't involve in shirk .

I had 2 major problems years back on different occasions....I fortunately had access to a very good man who recited Quran for me on those 2 occasions if I tell you how those two issues turned round and the way it did you will be shocked.

For One of the issues,i told him my intention is that they should be the ones to open their mouth and expose them selves, they did grin within one week and got fired from work .(they were very very wicked criminals and caused people pains)
But mind you I also got up on my own to be saying tahajjud I didn't just leave that someone is reciting Quran oooo never do this !as lazy as I was ,I got up and was saying some nafillah and dhikr that a friend had given me

This is why I get surprised when people involve boka or babalawo .

All 100%.
Also. Reciting surah Ikhlas almost every night tahajjud (50, 100,1000, etc) will act as a compass for you in the sense that if someone is saying something to you, you’ll instantly know if it is true or not. Anything you want to say, do or engage in, you’ll know the truth of it kia kia. Just ensure you maintain a regular number of recitation you can manage.
Those people you mentioned sure know how to spend their money.
Pure wealth can be used to acquire jannah if you know what you are doing. That’s why I’m so surprised to see basterdization of wealth here and there. What a loss!

Then you may read the transliteration. That is the Arabic but written in English.
Please do try to learn how to read in Arabic as that’s where the maximum efficacy resides and not in any other language.
