your question itself is confusing. how are you sure you've been admitted into UNICAL? or were you among those that wrote JAMB this month?

You dont have to give yourself headache over this issue. What you have to do is to go to the high court of the state where you reside in, tell them you want to apply for change of name(affidavit). This shouldnt cost you more than N2000.

After you've done that, contact a newspaper house closest to you to get it published. This in Daily Trust i think costs about N4500.

When you are through with the whole process, whenever you are applying for an admission or a job with your certificates, make sure you submit a photocopy of the affidavit and the copy of the page of the newspaper that carries the details of your change of name.

Infact, apart from free Application, some oil and gas scholarships pay you transport money for coming to write the exam alone.
That way, you won't spend a dime in the process except your time and attention.
Chevron and agbami, for instance, pay transport money to those who take their scholarship exams every year, whether or not they win the award.
