49 + 49 = 98k
98k + 2k = 100k.

Op nice post.

Come to think of it, for years i've been longing to become a very good writer in the business and marketing aspect. That kind of writer that can make use of plain words to persuade multitudes of people into buying into an idea or a product belonging to me or a clients'

for so long i've tried and the more i tried, the more i get depressed. The more i get depressed, the more i get frustrated on the idea of persuasive writing. Some times i even feel writing persuasively is an inborn talent which the highly successful writers possess.

Most times i do get carried away by my inadequacies and consider myself a failure. Not just a failure in writing but a failure in life. I mean taking a look back at my secondary school days, instead of focusing on my studies, i rather play away my time on football and video games. Essay/letter writing that i should have learnt and practice back then has now become so alien to me to the extent that even in higher institution, i fumble at the use of grammer.

Life on my side hasn't be funny at all as challenges upon challenges had been taking turns in my life. Is is the part of failing to gain admission multiple times into the Nigerian Defence Academy, or how my family had become insolvent that i have to live under a foster parent whose wife's actions and venomous words had beaten my ego so thin to the extent that i confirmed to myself that i am not worthy to live.

Fastforward to today, i've finally concluded a diploma program in Business Administration and Management Studies from a polytechnic in the north. At times i find it so facinating how i managed to successfully scale through with an upper despite my inferiority complex et al.

I could vividly remember how i always find myself so busy during and even after school hours. Busy doing what you may ask.

I get so busy deep in my thoughts, playing nasty scenarios in my mind that the only antidote to this problem is to give myself break. And to give my self a break, i mean going to live with a relative far away or to live on campus. By doing this, my brain is no longer on a hyper-active mode.

Now that you've read up to this very place, i'd like you to take a look at all that i have wrote. I will like to know if you found it easy to understand at a go or it was clumpsy with grammertical errors and jargons.

I sincerely want to master the art of writing, an i know i will someday in the nearest future.

Please kindly help a brother. Appraise this text, i will like to know my shortcomings.

80% of youths going into higher institutions today are only going to gain admission nd get a degree so they'll be called graduates in the end. Just a few have real motives of learning. Or why do you think most youths you see in higher institutions are too fast in joining different cult groups, chasing after men/women, fashion craze and so on?

While you have a three-square meal with your choice of dish, this folk see just a square meal as a miracle. Sometimes the go hungry for days...

While you are in an air conditioned room(school or office), these folks are under the scorching sun looking out for their manna from heaven.

Sure enough you do sleep on comfortable matrasses. But when its night time, these guy have no other option than to retreat to their tiny hole where they sleep on flattened cartons or on the cold floor.

These guys you call crooks are also human beings just like you and I. The situation the find themselves in is what made them who they are now.

You don't expect some one who had been starving and suffering to look beautiful.

In short, if you really want to see theie true facial beauty and intelligence, take one of these crooks of their usual lifestyle.

1. Accomodate and feed him/her.

2. Provide the neccessary education he or she requires.

3. Show love and affection to him/her(this is what they lack most.)

within five years time, am sure if someone tells you that the person you adopted five years ago was a crook, you would never believe it.

He eat and leave plates were he eats,the kitchen is just three walk away

He comes back from work and will not do any thing else

He don't exercise his body (thought he looks good)

He talks without life

why disturb yourself thinking about things that will continue to keep you in a negative state of mind? If it is just the two of you that are living together, take a one or two months break very far away from where he or she stays. That's my advise for you.

The problem is that you've been doing everything all by yourself and he's gotten so used to being dependent on you to do them. Now he just has a clouded mentality because he knows someone is around to take care of the mess.

I'll also encourage you to get engaged in an activity far away from your home and also interact with new people because the more you continue to ponder on the bad and negative sides of his actions, the more closer to bein frustrated and depressed you'll become.

Remember, do not nag him. Just let him know you dont like what he is gradually turning into. Sometimes he may get infuriated, it's normal. Your duty is not to also get vexed up the same timd. You remember "you don't use fire to quench fire!"

Take your time with him. He'll change. But i can't promise you the change will be instantanous. We human learn and unlearn things gradually. Just take your time with him it is well.

I reapplied in 2014 wrote the entrance exams, I was shortlisted again to face the armed forces selection board but I couldn't go cause i fell very ill(had a very severe case of pneumonia).
Applied this yr.... Unfortunately I wasn't shortlisted, i don't really know why cos I wrote very well even better than my previous attempts. Then I realized my future doesn't involve me in the armed forces...
So I've faced another field

Went to kaduna for the screening, passed all the tests from certificate clearance to medicals.
Yet my name was unfortunately placed on the reserve list.
Probably cos I had no connection.
Mehn it hurt like sh*t then...but wetin man go do.

it would have been better if you had reapplied. You'll even have an upper hand over new entrants since you've physically, psychologically and practically encountered and went through what most of them never even dreamt of.
