If Atiku becomes president, it would be the first time that people outside the tripod will be president & vice president at the same time. Worse still, he won't be having the backing of the two major Southern ethnic groups i.e. Igbos and Yorubas. This could result in what the North has always feared i.e. the unification of East and West in one accord. Separatist movements would become more aggressive & emboldened. While IPOB would would be enjoying massive support from Igbos, another Oduduwa group would either spring up in the SW or their governors would unite to form regional autonomy that would counter central authority. They would first start by arming Amotekun with real guns in the guise of fighting insecurity.
Nigeria's economic woes hasn't shown any sign of abetting and coupled with the political crises that would arise, the central government would be too beleaguered to confront both the East and West at the same time. The apparent weakness will further worsen things because it would trigger more independent moves by different groups across the country.

The only reason the northern elite called for a southern presidential flag bearer was to deny Buhari having his own anointed candidate who would have been from within his Aso Rock Daura cowboy cabals.
With Tinubu as the party flag bearer , Buhari will not throw his support to anyone in the race thus paving way for a free and fair election from where the north will simply dump Tinubu and vote either Atiku or Kwankwaso.
Peter Obi and Tinubu will only win in their respective regions, while Atiku will slug it out with Kwankwaso in the north, win hands down the middle belt and SS.

The Muslim Muslim ticket is giving them sleepless night. As if they are in APC. The two northern Christian states are anti Muslims. Benue and Plateau strangled Muslim minorites out of politics since 1999.
The Minority Muslims experience what lgbo Muslim face in many areas. Also, Plateau that is APC in Governorship election is always PDP in presidential. This means, APC has always lose there. Benue is PDP in both course. And APC lose like pack of cards in presidential election. In fact, these two states and their Christians have the worse PROPAGANDA against Muslims in Nigeria.
The south east is a Christian zone and Muslims or APC aren't welcomed. APC alway lose all South East states in presidential elections.
These are places where Christian dominates wholesomely in Nigeria. Why should APC zone a ticket to a people that will never vote for you to win? Even with a pastor, they didn't vote you onto victory.
