This time last year, DangCem's EPS 11.26 naira and the stock was trading at 600 naira. Now, EPS has improved to 30.74, yet it's trading at les than 500 naira. The market is such a conundrum.

But the result just got released Market needs to react before you you conclude.

Transcorp need to move. How can it's subsidiaries like transpower and Transhotel be selling way way over the parent company. Elumelu even said he will soon list the second power genco(transafam) subsidiary of Transcorp. Transhotel market price is also expected to continue the rise with recent developments, yet Transcorp just dey struggle.

Gbam. You hit the nail smartly on the head. Even, majority of those complaining here about insider trading will do worse if they are in the position of those they are accusing of insider trading now.

Please tell me, from where do they think the Elumelu wife and family got their information from before accumulating transcorp shares when it was trading around N1? If not from the CEO himself. Is that not an indirect way of Insider trading?

Sometimes, even the secretary that types the result will see before Elumelu or whoever is CEO. Lol

It is almost impossible to stop insider trading on NSE. From the guys in the company that prepare the result, to the auditors and company executives etc that audit and scrutinize the result, to the Board members that approve the result, up to the Staff at NSE that recieve the result. In some cases, the regulators too(Like CBN etc) that often keep the result for over One month in the name of checks and regulation. All of these people may take advantage.
There is so much exposed and likelihood of insider trading, but we still make little profit here and there. That is why I laf at pple here accusing some members her of insider info. Before those pple here even get the said info, the main insiders have already taken position and what they here are mere rumours which sometimes turn out not to be true. That's why the TA people make more profit cos they watch volume movement and guess when insiders are trading

I wish I bought more than I did. I gambled on this stock earlier on at N40 it has done more than 30% thus far. I now expect even more than another 30% with this result.
Q3 will be a game changer if they maintain this rate of recovery. Revenue by q3 should match the entire revenue from last year.

90% of people on this forum are marketers. Some market the big caps , other markets pennies but marketing na still marketing. The Ogas , the hustlers , the seldom commenters , virtually all are marketers.

No one will ever talk bad about a stock he or she is fully loaded in . If I have 400M in Ellah , I will always preach Ellah and attack anyone that talk bad about Ellah. If I have 400M in Presco or Wapco , you will be my enemy if you say anything negative about the company

But no one will enter a stock he/she does not believe in. And once in, he/she would naturally want to help others identify with such opportunity.
To be sincere with you, 70% of money I have made on NSE is from stocks "marketed here"

From Transcorp to Ellah to Oando to Wapco to the banking stocks to Seplat to Cadbury etc I made money from members' marketing. So pls let the marketing continue. It is up to me to do further research and benefit from the marketing.

If the Naira appreciates significantly against the dollar, some of our dollar earning stocks will suffer. Eg. SEPLAT, PRESCO etc hmm its good to watch the dollar as we watch our stocks too.

News is that the stock went on full bid probably after the saw the result.
They might want to fully digest the result in the market before the investing public could see and also digest.
