some people are using style to collect their dividends from fcmb.
Who noticed the huge sell at 2.50k?
Run for your life now or I will laugh at you if it comes to my junction(1.50).
Just look at the results released so far and how the market is reacting to them.
I will prefer to buy these 25kobo to 30kobo stocks the market has dealt with due to corporate governance.
Money is to be made in these stocks but not all.
FCMB is sure to fall but I doubt if they will let it get to 1.5. The full year result will not be close to their 2016 result. Their purchase of legacy pension managers will also affect result. But they will not fall to 1.5.

Yayira, run come oooo
is that 144eps I see or what? Is that a 260% increase in PAT to 81billion from a loss of 45billiin las year? If that is what I see, then this is the best result so far and I dont see why they wont pay dividends. Oando no fail me oh.

If pple are dumping UCAP and Afriprud like this, what will happen when gtb releases its own with 2.9 kobo dividend.
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mpeace(m): 10:39am On Feb 27, 2018
UCAP seen at 3.85. If only this stock was in my plan, I would have bought at this price. 9.06% return.

APR result is out, recommend a dividend of 40kobo per share.
If true, 7.84% dividend yield is not that bad, although its not as good as 50kobo projected by some.

As long as you are buying the same stock you are averaging down cheesy
Averaging down is when you bought high, and the price keeps falling thereafter. You buy at lows to reduce your average cost price. In my own case, I bought most of my diamond at between 1 and 1.05. My tbills matured after the bulls, so I have been sinking it in gradually. I love buying during bears.

Dont be annoyed o.
can you predict where diamond bank price will be in the next 52 weeks.........
yes I can, N12. no jokes. Just look at the impairment charge so far taken, 35billion. add that to their profit so far= 41billion. On a good day, diamond bank should be just under Access bank. They just need to clear their NPL which ratio stands at 9.5% with the bulk of it (52%) in the oil sector(which is recovering) They should also make something good out of their recent divestments which is aimed at converting ti a national bank . Mind you the CAR for national banks is 10% as against 15% CAR for international banks. This would free up alot of cash for the bank.

The gain you saw today is to lure gullible investores in for another downturn.
I will not be tempted by any move i see in both diamond and fcmb now. Before or after result, they will come to carry me at KM2 kurukutu hill.
I will keep buying, even if it gets to 2. until result is out.

When stocks bottoms out,
They will trade at support levels for two to three days before possible breakout if any.
Just look at MPAEACE averaging down diamond bank everyday.
some people have little cash and making it big while others have invested big cash without much returns.

LET BOTTOMS AND SUPPORTS BE OUR GUIDE.
I bought me more diamonds today. I am not worried. I bought a major part at btw 1 - 1.05. I will continue to buy at reasonable lows.

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/02/new-dividend-policy-shocks-banks-investors-lose-n100bn-2-days/ Despite the new rule, I think all banks can still pay dividends. From this analysis, only first bank falls in the category of 0% dividend payment, but the analyst equally pointed out that fbnh can still pay dividends from its subsidiaries.

I think the sale of the banks UK arm if allowed to materialize would be a very healthy move.
the 1st part of the divestment is for the West Afrian subsidiaries.
...DIAMOND BANK has banking operations in Cote d'voire, Benin, Togo and Senegal.
...The Idea is to divest from arms that had been less effective in other to improve on the efficiency of the bank.
This is part of the banks restructuring plans.

Dont forget that the proceeds from the already sealed recent divestment is expected to have a positive impact of over 200 bps on DIAMOND banks CAR by 2017 yr end.
...and so I believe that the proceeds from further divestment especially the less proactive arms is a cost effective move that will further help in aiding Managements mission of an aggressive expansion of its retail banking franchise in Nigeria. ...Overall, I expect an improvement in the banks bottom line going forward.

I recall that the likes of UBA, FCMB, ACCESS and probably GTB had tour a similar path in the past.
Pls hold this news till I'm done with buying.

FCMB has just 19.8b outstanding shares. 10kobo dividend will just be 1.98b. A subsidiary should be able to pay this one. First Bank has 38.895b.
30kobo dividend is like 10b. Can FBN Quest or FBN Capital pay this as dividend. Interesting days ahead
My broda, go and listen to Fbnh conference call from 2016 to date, they have always emphasised that first bank retains all its profit and those not contribute to dividend to the holding company. They have always paid dividends from their subsidiaries. The dividends paid in 2016 and 2017 were from those subsidiaries. What when they announce board meeting, it would be for consideration of result and dividend.

And close to half of the N8 trillion is even borrowed .
And the said budget will never be fully implemented. Implementation might just be 60%. And a major part of implementation is on private pockets (looted).
In any case, stock investors are well taxed and their taxes are collected from source. That is what we call withholding tax. VAIDS dont apply here since its only when you sell that you earn and the tax is collected before you even see your money.
