Stanbic's dividend wasn't encouraging compared to their share price. Yet, the market seemed to react positively and its almost 50 naira (50k dividend). Why will FBN be different?
Pls don't compare stanbic with any Nigerian bank. Don't even try it because if you do ehh me and you go get problem.
Na joke oh.

But it didn't enter reverse after the FY16 was released though....
That is why I said N1 will not lead to reverse. Last year it was trading at about N3 when it declared 20kobo.

Pls help us check for Access, UBA, DS and DF result.
You are more than an insider. Just get us the facts.
Lol I done become checker. Abeg ask CP. na him sabi dat calculate that thing wela. Remember he told us Dangflour will not pay dividend due to negative wetin sef...
To me Dangsugar no go far from NASCON. Access q3 2017 result no too better pass the q3 2016 so them fit pay the same thing like last year. As for UBA I no know any thing but I no see them paying more than 70kobo(e fit be 50kobo sef) Ask Agba and Current, na dem sabi dis thing well well.

Even if it pays N1 nor be reverse gear e go still enter?
My broda if FBNH pay N1 there will be no reversal. That I can assure you. It would be a better yield that Zenith, Gtb, Access, UBA. Afriprud etc
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mpeace(m):
I am selling my FBNH today. I mean all of it. I will re enter after q4 2017result is out. I just saw something now that is not too encouraging dividend wise.
Out of their q3 PAT of 45.8 billion, their Commercial Banking arm contributed 37.3billion, while others brought in 8.5 billion. If the new CBN rule should be applied here then the commercial banking arm will not contribute to dividend. In the long run, I dont see them paying more than 30kobo as dividend although PAT will increase very significantly.

My dear the part in bold from ur 1st post doesn't seem to be in agreement with the highlight in bold and by extension the entirety of ur 2nd post.
...Again u said u already left the market in ur 1st post. ...before turning around to also say u only have part of ur profit left in the market in the 2nd.
The make up of both post seem to be in sharp contrast, with the content therein leaving a lot of doubt both contextually and collectively.
Perhaps u need to read thru ur posts again. wink cheesy

As for ur target prices, I sincerely hope ur not seen things in reverse. wink cheesy
But I wish u goodluck all the same.
Mind your sef. Stop catching pple anyhow. Don't you know that denial helps heal the pain, and is also part of the game? Let him continue to tell us, maka na anyi bu umuaka.

My people, one of us here saw money and didn't regard it.Therefore I am of opinion that we send Diamond bank back to base( #1.00) so that he will realise his mistakes and apologize for the mistake.
If diamond comes to 1, I will sell everything I have including my personal car, loan money from banks and buy more.

You mean you bought diamond bank at #1.00 and it attained 3.73 and you refused to sell simply because you have #7 as your exit price.

I AM VERY SURE YOU WILL NOT FORGIVE THAT SPIRIT IN YOU THAT DECEIVED YOU.HOW ELSE CAN ONE BE RICH IF HE DOESNT VALUE 300% PROFIT.GUY MY HOSTELS ARE NEARING COMPLETION AND I MADE THE MONEY IN THIS LAST BULL WHICH YOU DIDNT REGARD.
I don't do properties any more. The return from rental income is so low that when you figure in legal and every other fee you are left with nothing. I have over 8flats empty here in owerri, some of them had tenants who left without settling their previous rents and electricity bills. Since 2016, I stopped building. Its been stocks and tbills all through. But I wish you luck in your hostel business. Many pple with hostels around FUTO hear in owerri are putting them up for sale at ridiculously low prices. Why not come and buy one it would be cheaper than building from the scratch.
I am presently in court with three of my tenants. I am even pleading with one of them to take the 3years rent he is owing me and leave my house. For where. We have been in court for two years now and he says he will sue me after all. On top my own property.

Is it better you should wait until after election if you intended for long-term as I know most stocks will be cheaper because of election uncertainty?
l am selling after q2 2018 result. That is more than six months before election.

Are you really serious about averaging down on diamond or u just giving the house something to talk about ?
I am not averaging down. I bought most of my diamond between 1 & 1.05. My average purchase price so far is about 1.50. I am still buying because I believe many things will happen between now and q2 2018.

One stock I have interest in is FCMB. But I cannot buy it because their 2017 full year PAT will be about 50% less than that of 2016. I will buy it after the q4 2017results are out and digested. Preferably before q1 2018 result which I expect to be very good.

With due respect, it is not good to sit tight on a particular stock and keep watching it going down even with the hope of further downside in sight. If I were you, I will rather sell, cut my lost with the hope of recouping it much later in same/another stock.

If you are in love with diamond, you can sell now and buy more units when it goes down further, sometime later. It is better to lose N300,000 now, than lose N1m later in two weeks time.

My opinion please.
My broda, thanks for the advice. But I want to buy and buy more and more diamonds. I have prepared my mind for anything. Btw, am I the only one buying? Oh e fit be mm wey dey buy cos in the last 10mins over 9million units have been bought.
