Anyway, where you see Unilever and Cadbury at above 50, expect PZ to catch up at some point...

In all these movements, it's OANDO I'm eagerly awaiting its own upward movement.....No matter how they try hard to suppress the mvmt...
PZ audited 2024 and q1 2025 result will be that decider.

When you see opportunity, and you know that Morgan Might not credit you on time, you just have to sell some stagnant stocks to take up such opportunities.

The bolded is not right please. I bought a stock last week on Morgan platform by 10.45am and sold by 1.45pm same day. For avoidance of doubt on why I bought and sold within 4 hour, it is just for a profit of around seven percent, because I don't really have confidence in the stock for a long term, not even one week.
I buy on sell on Morgancapital and buy within minutes with the proceeds of the sale. You are very correct

Their dividend payment has been embarrassingly shameful.

So shameful that they cannot even compete with Fidelity!

Very greedy board of directors and management.
Fidelity OS is about to multiply. After their next capital raise, they should have over 70billion as OS. While Access would have about 53billion OS.

At this rate it would be difficult for fidelity to pay up to N1 in interim dividend. That's like N70billion.
And also pay a final dividend in the same financial year.

Who bought Ibadan power distribution company.
I hope it's not Transcorp. These distribution companies don't make good profit.

The Asset Management Company of Nigeria has announced that the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has been sold.

Gbenga Alake, the managing director (MD) and chief executive officer (CEO) of AMCON, disclosed details of the sale during a media parley with media executives on Thursday.

In April 2024, the federal government said it would sell five power distribution companies under the management of banks and AMCON.

The DisCo, managed by AMCON, is one of five listed firms. The rest are the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), Benin Electricity Distribution Company, Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company, and Kano Electricity Distribution Company.

Speaking at the conference, Alake said the company was sold for N100 billion.

He said AMCON will soon hand over the power firm to the preferred bidder.

“Today, I announce to you that Ibadan DisCo has been sold. When we came in, it has already been sold. It was sold for how much?” the AMCON boss said.

“We got in and said no, it cannot be. We said they should go and submit a new offer that we were not going to sell for that.

“At the end of the day, we got almost double of what Ibadan DisCos was going to be sold for.”

Alake said the sale has triggered legal battles, with “so many interests now fighting and writing”.

He said that while the matter is in court, AMCON is very positive that the right thing was done.

“We have sold it… and whatever is still happening in court, we will face it,” he said.

On May 15, report circulated that the African Initiative Against Abuse of Public Trust, a civil society organisation (CSO), has filed a lawsuit before the federal high court in Abuja against AMCON, Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE), and the Ibadan DisCo over an alleged proposed sale of a 60 percent stake in IBEDC for $62 million.

The CSO, in the suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/866/2025, described the sale as “secretive and illegal,” adding that the alleged amount is “corruptly undervalued”.

The African Initiative also claimed that the deal would lead to a loss of $107 million compared to the $169 million paid for the same stake during the 2013 privatisation of IBEDC.

Ellahlakes has done almost 100m already...Na wa o. Meanwhile see neimet,.Calverton, ftn like play those stocks have been doing 10/10 back to back. Congratulations to those in the bus
You can make like 15% today on Ellah. There are offers at below N9 at the moment. If you buy and it ends the day on full bid, you make good money.
Caveat: I do not know if the movers have reached their target price. DYR.

At N10, they need 25billion new shares to raise the kind of money they want.

It would be better they push it up to like N50, so that the OS will not be too much. At N50 they only need to raise 5billion new shares.

GT will be dual listed. Find below:
By this notice, they will not be doing any PO or RI on the NSE to meet the new N500billion CBN requirement.
That's good for free-float on the NSE. But I am thinking dual listing could see less fx inflow into their Nigerian shares and foreign currencies will remain in LONDON due to Naira stability issues

PS: Try and get the book by Mr Bawa former Chairman of EFCC [‘The Shadow of Loot & Losses: Uncovering Nigeria’s Petroleum Subsidy Fraud’]
Bawa. I have had personal experience with this man. I remember when he was in Port Harcourt, just before he became head of EFCC. A matter I handled in court...
If I have to judge from that experience, then I will advise you not to take that book seriously.
Also remember all the uncleared allegations made against him with respect to disposal of seized properties.
Nigeria is corrupt, with or without subsidy.

JAPAULGOLD on FULL BID @#1.72...

I foresee their RIGHT ISSUE @ Circa #5:00

BARGAIN HUNTERS TAKE NOTE!
They said they want to raise 500billion Naira by issuing new shares thus raising their outstanding shares to 100billiin units from 14billion units. In other words they will create about 86billion new shares to raise 500billion Naira therefrom.

The rights issue may actually be more than N5.

Make Una enjoy

It a little over 100% increase in EPS but not one I'd expect the market to get excited about.

Also, I just was highlighting it's 54k not 115k.
It appears they are in the habit of overstating by doubling their eps on a yearly. Just look at the eps of the previous year. It doesn't correspond with the PAT if that year.

Ellah stock price will certainly drop next week as short term investors will sell off quickly to move elsewhere. cool
Ellah is not moved by traders. Its moved by the hands behind the rights issue. They will move it to their target price. If you know how to play the game, you will surely benefit, if not them go carry your money go.

When it comes to the future of Ellah, I see it as a target for the bigger players.
