Market whisper, not a buy or sell advice, I think UBA rights will not be less than N40 and the dividend for the year can hit N7
UBA appear destined for something great. They appear very ambitious (not Access kind of ambitious)

Were they paying for subsidy or borrowing to pay for subsidy? The saving is in debts
If so, then the borrowing should have slowed down now that the subsidy is gone but the reverse is the case.

crownprince2017:
President Bola Tinubu Is Not Borrowing $21 Billion

Dear Citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,

Please let us respond to facts, not fake news or innuendo. Download the Federal Government's Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and read it yourself.

President Bola Tinubu is not about to borrow $21 Billion. The MTEF contains the borrowing plan for both the Federal and State Governments for the next three years.

In other words, the $21 billion is what the Federal Government and the 36 states can borrow over the next three years. Not what they will borrow. What they can borrow. They are not even likely to take those loans. It is just a framework for what is possible.

For example, while the MTEF provides for extensive borrowings in 2025, only $1.23 billion will actually be borrowed. And that $1.23 billion will be borrowed by both the Federal and state governments from all geopolitical zones.

The MTEF only shows possible borrowing that Nigeria is entitled to based on agreements with our external borrowing partners, which must be in line with both the Fiscal Responsibility Act 2007 and the Debt Management Office. (Establishment) Act 2003.

And the Borrowing Rolling Plan ties such possible borrowings by the Federal and State Governments to specific projects.

For actual borrowings, Nigerians should look at the budgets of both the Federal and State Governments.

Therefore, the sensational headlines proclaiming that President Tinubu is to borrow $21 billion are both fake and alarmist.

Again, I urge Nigerians to read the MTEF and the 2025 Appropriation Act.

President Bola Tinubu is a First-Class Cum Laude accountant adept at securing finances at the best rates from the most suitable lenders and for the right purposes.

Under such a skilled professional hand, one who has worked in the highest levels at both the private and public sectors, Nigerians can expect their national debt to reduce, not increase.

Finally, Nigerians should note that many opposition media and influencers know that many of our people sadly do not read and are, therefore, susceptible to manipulation via misinformation and propaganda.

Thus, I urge the public to read as much as possible and verify from official sources before they make conclusions based on sensational headlines.

Reno Omokri
That is what they will say. That that the plan is for three years. As soon as it is approved, them go just collect everything use do next election.
They told us removal of fuel subsidy will save 2billion dollars every month. So why are they not using the $2 billion they saved in the last 2yrs.
That should be over $24billion by now

Because companies use the rate set by CBN but that rate was not real because even big businesses were struggling to get it at 465 which is the reason the backlogs continued to pile.
That was the official exchange rate

In real dollar terms it is now slightly up if you use 750/$ as at May 2023.

NGX market cap as at May 2023 - 28 trillion naira (37.3 Billion USD)

NGX market cap as at May 2025 - 70 trillion naira (43.75 Billion USD).
Lol. When Tinubu took over, the rate was 465/$ not 750.
See below our seplat dividend exchange rate at the time.
Even Tinubu knows that his regime has been terrible. He and Buhari should compete for the worse economy managers.

The President of Dangote Industries Limited, Aliko Dangote, has said that in the next two years, the company will be exporting almost 16,000 tonnes of fertiliser, which will amount to about $7m daily revenue to the Federal Government.

Check very well. They paid in two transactions. One for 3.3 the other for 3.6. so you should get two alerts but both should sum up to N111

What exactly is Cardinal Stone doing? They hold on to people's money and wait for them to email first before paying. i have never had to worry my head about dividend. What do they seek to achieve by putting people through unnecessary stress?
I am beginning to think the whole thing is deliberate. I have money with cardinal stone too.
But the worse is datamax. They have my GTco dividend but somehow I got my seplat dividend this morning from the same registrars.
Note that I have been getting all my GTco dividends until this last one.
Zenith own be say them no dey pick call them no dey reply mail, them just hold my money for no reason.

I think it’s worth N100.
Q1 annualized result should give about N9 FY earnings but they tend to make the most money in Q3 and Q4 because of summer and detty december passengers.
Which means the FY earnings could enter close to N10 or in best case N11per share, and with 90% payout ratio, N8-9 dividend is possible.
Based on a historical PE of 9x, that’s N90-99 fair value
Based of dividend multiple of 11.5x last year, N92-103 fair value
NFA but I think it’s a good buy here. It’s not even trading at 70, I’m hoping to see it at N66 for 50%+ ROI
Take a look at Cadbury and tell us what you see pls.

Then look at Airtel.

Plenty good stock just dey this market.
