I am only surprised dangote refinery has not responded to that allegation. I doubt if we are in any position to defend the company if they have not refuted the claim.
What if they acknowledge it to be true.
A govt agency cannot come out with such claims without reason.

Those fx gains are not cash flow. They are FX assets that have a translational gain in Naira. Those fx financial assets may even be tied more to foreign subsidiaries of these banks. To monitize it into naira will even require selling of the financial assets.

Then why tax them if they are not monotized. Will the banks pay the said tax buy selling those assets or from the small money wey them fey follow give us the usual peanut.

If they are to tax fx gains, they should as well allow dividends to be paid there from. It is not profit if shareholders do not benefit from it

My own is based on street analysis. Total has already touched 425 within day swing in price. Total will be heading for 600 after second quarter result. If you use Total products beside pms you will understand. The fuel treatment others sell for #1500 -#2000.That of Total is #4500.The cost of thr lubricant and others is now something else. They are the next enjoying in marketing pms so far beside nnpc station. Then thr heavy duty engine oil and oil in big gallon is what most people in that category use.The result for 2024 go loud.

I think I'm gonna be posting a snapshot of my portfolio at the start of each quarter cause that was the second b2b quarter of 40%+ returns. Also because streetinvestor is always mocking me for not dropping advise. That being said, i will never recommend anyone to invest in what i don't have stake in. DD advised as always.
Side note: I'm still upcoming so don't laugh at my portfolio. I have 45m in cash that i will use to average down if needed.

SEC just recently declined the request of PZ Cussons to buy-out minority shareholders and delist. Do your findings. Just google it. And that put a stop to their intention to delist.
As long as SEC rejects the application to delist, the company cannot delist.

This delisting has little to do with SEC. Its a court ordered delisting. SEC is not even a party to the suit.
Only the court can determine if it will succeed or not. SEC will not have a say on it.

However, we need to also know the outcome of the ruling.

The ruling will mostlikely be on the application for joinder. Remember some shareholders applied to join the suit.
