Zagee: If I was fidelity, I'll just target band A customers within those states and make a the returns I can get as that band seems to cover the cost on a band B, C and including the last A price. That's if they're patient enough not to start selling off assests
PS: More revenue for TRANSPOWER in the horizon. Almost all the discos now focus on band A consumers. Here in owerri where I work, there are places that haven't seen up to cummulatively 3hr of electricity since the increase in band A tariff. Its like 10mins per week. Which I think is Just to assure them there is nothing wrong with their transformer. The focus is on band A cunsumers. All you see on EEDC page are apologies and excuses to band A customers on days they don't meet with the 20hrs requirement. No apologies to other bands. I think the ministry of power made a huge mistake and need to make new policies to protect customers on other bands. |

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Emomotimi Agama as the director general of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Ajuri Ngelale, special adviser to the president on media and publicity, disclosed this in a statement on Friday.
Agama will take over from Lamido Yuguda.
According to Ngelale, Tinubu also appointed Lairiga Katuka as SEC’s board chairman.
The spokesperson said Frana Chukwuogor was appointed as executive commissioner (legal and enforcement); Bola Ajomale, executive commissioner (operations); Samiya Usman, executive commissioner (corporate services).
Tinubu approved the appointment of Lekan Belo and Kasimu Garba Kurfi as non-executive commissioners.
Ngelale added that the president anticipates the SEC board will bring to bear their wealth of experience and competence in advancing the commission’s core mandate.
He said the responsibilities of SEC are developing and regulating a capital market that is dynamic, fair, transparent, and efficient, to bolster investor confidence and contribute immeasurably to the nation’s economic development. |

2zona: Do you think price will remain static for ever? Market maker must do his work naa. He must provide that 100k purchase to move the price down.
I prefer he does it fast enough no need delaying, so people that want to cut losses will do and move on while those that want to remain long termers will stay and wait it out. Which type talk be this naaa. Abeg let the price remain the same until the suspension is lifted. We don't mind a merger or sugar and salt. Rice can join later |

Meanwhile, I think internal issue is at play here.... Those NASCON guys seems not to be pleased with the merger arrangements.....this could be their strategy to address their concerns and, find means to benefit the more from the whole arrangement......
DANGRICE seems to be the bone of contention here... .and, the main drama be say, na Alhaji own DANGRICE......maybe 90% or so.........he has awarded more goodies to himself If we look at it, no be his sweat again? How dey wan dey drag the thing with him? Since the merger is suspended, Nascon should just pay us some money as dividend. They made an eps of N5.18 without paying any final dividend for the year end 2023. Make they give us small money make we use dribk away our... |
