This is good! They're reffering to backward black South Africans who have come into contact with fellow Africans who made them believe that with an idea of Africanism, blacks can do it. Blacks, regardles of whether in the US or Africa. What they do is. 1. Dancing for 24 hours 2. Blamming whites for everything 3. Fighting each other. 4. Celebrating little success 6. Killing each other, be it Sani Abacha killing his own people, Ivorians killing each other, black on black crime in South Africa and USA. South Africa will regret the day it opened its borders to Black African immigrants. |
This is not an attack! This is reality, its a much needed wake up call. |
Nigerian author admited that Nigeria is lacking behind South Africa in everything. Even countries like Cameroon are doing better than Nigeria in economics. http://www.dawodu.com/martins34.htm Nigerians will always say that the reason South Africa is advanced is because of White people. yeah right! Nigeria was also colonised, their infrastructure was also build by whites, but where is the infrastructure now. They're like the rest of Africa, they can't take care of things. Most of the shantytowns of South Africa started mushrooming when we allowed black immigrants to come to South Africa. 60 % of shanty towns dwellers are immigrants. Most of the urban decay in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Durban is becuase of African immigrants. Hillbrow looks like Lagos as we speak. We will jealously guard our country. The Spaniards do it, Australians do it, and so are the Italians. The reason why we don't send Asian and European immigrants home is that they don't do crime. We already have South African criminals that we must deal with, we don't need more. The Europeans bring their businesses and create employment. Asians have settled amongst poor South Africans in townships and they're contibuting to the economy. What do most Africans do! Most Nigerians build stupid churches and sell drugs. The whole world is complaining about Nigerians, be it Australia, Greece and the US etc. This is not a xenophobic statement but this is reality. There are hardworking African immigrants and students who are unfortunatly painted with the same brush as their evil counterparts. Just because people helped us during apartheid, that doesn't mean now they have a right to come and stay here and in the process saturate our social system. We are paying back by stoping civil wars in Africa eg DRC, Ivory Coast, Burundi etc. We're paying back by sponsoring all African football tournaments like the Champions League and the African Cup of Nations. Erecting Banks and retail shops in Nigeria. WHAT MORE SHOULD WE DO!! Its time Nigerians shut up and get to work.Instead of going to countries where people don't even like you rather remain in your country and help in the development and advancement of Nigeria. Some of us don't hate you, but hate your bad mannerisms and big mouths. For you is all about talk no action!!!! |
Ghana has adopted a South African model of economic growth. The will be better than Nigeria in the near future. We saw a during the African Cup of Nation when Ghana built nice infrastructure. The difference is that Ghanaians don't just open their big mouths, they work. http://www.imf.org/external/pubs/ft/survey/so/2008/CAR021408A.htm Nigerians used to say that South Africa is only successful because of whites. For the record, we're colonizing them with black owned companies like MTN. The very same 2010 world cup that they want to play in will be organised by blacks. The stadiums ar constructed by 80% black owned companies. They're going to be playing in black constructed world class stadiums that are even better than some in the West. The thing is black South Africans are hardworking people, we don't just talk. If South Africa is bad why do we have over 5 MILLION black african immigrants (Nigerians, Zimbabweans, Angolans, Malawians, Kenyan etc) Why don't we have South Africans wanting to go to Nigeria. Its time you start working and stop running your big mouths in forums around the world. If you really know how the world think about you, you would really learn to shut up. If South Africa is bad then why do we have British people coming to stay here. see the link below http://www.imf.org/external/pubs/ft/survey/so/2008/CAR021408A.htm http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080617070200AAGaygj |
Africa's giant can't even feed its own people. They've now resorted to asking the international community for food. Food Not Bombs Heads to Nigeria The country is riddled with hunger, homelessness, and diseases such as protozoal and bacterial diarrhea, malaria, hepatitis A, and typhoid fever. AIDS has a stronghold on the country, and the infant mortality and death rates are considerably high. The land, once lush, has suffered rapid deforestation, soil degradation, general water and air pollution in the more urban areas, and desertification. It is said the most pollution in Nigeria can be directly caused by oil. Spills have tainted the waters, constant burning of oil wells have affected the air, and the soil that once gave birth to rich foods in abundance is now barely uberous. - Anai Rhoads Ford -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- by Anai Rhoads Ford AnaiRhoads.org - Africa's most populated country, Nigeria, is home to 140 million people and composed of more than 250 ethnic groups. Once considered a strong net exporter of foods and products, it now relies on imports to sustain itself. Nigeria, also called the Heart of Africa, is located just above the equator with a coastline extending over 800 miles. Following a 16-year military rule, Nigeria adopted a more peaceful constitution in 1999 where the country is still undergoing social and economic reforms. Despite having a petroleum-based economy and rapid government reform, over 100 million of the 140 million people residing there are living below the poverty line. The country is riddled with hunger, homelessness, and diseases such as protozoal and bacterial diarrhea, malaria, hepatitis A, and typhoid fever. Many groups and organisations have come through Nigeria offering help, but none have made such a personal and useful impact as much as Food Not Bombs. While most offer a somewhat impersonal approach, Food Not Bombs stands with the people. Headed by co-founder, Keith Mchenry, Food Not Bombs has grown from a simple concept to a worldwide effort. Over the last 26 years, the organisation has brought in countless volunteers and chapters which currently can be found in the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia. McHenry made his way to Nigeria's southern city of Calabar in November to meet face-to-face with people in need. Not only did he serve vegan and vegetarian food, the trademark of Food Not Bombs, but he also brought them consociation. "Driving towards Port Hartcourt it is still possible to see how beautiful the Niger Delta must have been before the oil companies came and destroyed it." McHenry said. "Now the people live in conditions as close to hell on earth as is possible. The water bubbles fluorescent green and smoke fills the air from refinery flares and garbage heaps. The ground is soaked black with oil. It is not possible for the people to grow food or fish the streams because the oil companies have ruined everything." While the poor in America struggle daily to overcome their situation, in other countries the definition of poverty is dramatically different. Those living in poorer nations deal with next to nothing to survive. "I am drawn to the positive friendly energy of the Nigerian people. They are so optimistic even though their lives are so difficult," McHenry expressed. Food Not Bombs also distributes a handbook, How to Feed the Hungry and Build Community which offers recipes on how to prepare meals for 100 or more people at a time. McHenry's venture to the African Nation of Nigeria was documented and shown on SBS Dateline. For those who would like to donate to Food Not Bombs or start a Chapter in your neighbourhood, please visit their official web site at www.foodnotbombs.net. ____________________ http://www.worldproutassembly.org/archives/2006/11/food_not_bombs.html |
In fact some think that we're a developed country. CIA developed country list Map of Developed Countries (DCs) as described by the CIAThe CIA World Factbook classifies 34 economic entities as "developed countries (DCs):"[14] “ the top group in the hierarchy of developed countries (DCs), former USSR/Eastern Europe (former USSR/EE), and less developed countries (LDCs); includes the market-oriented economies of the mainly democratic nations in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Bermuda, Israel, South Africa, and the European ministates; also known as the First World, high-income countries, the North, industrial countries; generally have a per capita GDP in excess of $10,000 although four OECD countries and South Africa have figures well under $10,000 and two of the excluded OPEC countries have figures of more than $10,000; the 34 DCs are: Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holy See, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, NZ, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UK, US; note - similar to the new International Monetary Fund (IMF) term "advanced economies" that adds Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan but drops Malta, Mexico [sic][15], South Africa, and Turkey. ” • Andorra • Faroe Islands • Ireland • Monaco • Spain • Australia • Finland • Israel • Netherlands • Sweden • Austria • France • Italy • New Zealand • Switzerland • Belgium • Germany • Japan • Norway • Turkey • Bermuda (UK) • Greece • Liechtenstein • Portugal • United Kingdom • Canada • Holy See • Luxembourg • San Marino • United States • Denmark • Iceland • Malta • South Africa http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Developed_countries |
Britain does not see Nigeria as an ally, but as begging child, who's always asking for aid. The US and Europe don't have friends, they have interests. |
What does this Cold! refer to when he says I must bring it on! Bring what on Piccanini! The effects of poverty and mentall instability are starting to show. Go and find yourself a cool spot where you can masturbate nicely without being disturbed coon!!! Is the hot African sun affecting you negatively. |
I'm show the bloody kidnappers are using spears. I don't waht would happen if we could send the army there, to rescue these poor guys. Thats what these people do, they feel the effects of poverty then they kidnapp hardworking South Africans. We are there to help their miserable economy. This is a clear sign of stupidity. How can you kidnapp investors. Thats why this so called giant of Africa is struggling economically. They should kidnapp illegal immigrants and stop harrasing hard working people. |
South Africa is not part of the so called dark continent. Don't compare SA with your countries. Imagine comparing SA with Mali, Chad, Sudan, Ghana and all those slumps. Most of the above posts are from people who escaped poverty to the Western countries and in the process left their wifes, babies in total darkness of Africa, excluding South Africa. Thats why some of your brothers refuses to leave South Africa, they fear the darkness that they will face. |
They must release those guys if they know what's good for them. |
AFRICA SCRAMBLE FOR UN PERMANENT SEAT The Times SA. By Darrel Harpur 11:23 SA time 11 Sep 2008 South Africa to use huge financial resources to get the UN security council permanent sit. Financial capability is not listed amongst the UN selection criteria, however it clearly cannot be ignored, and may end up as a de facto criteria unless adequate provision is made to enable poor countries to participate as permanent members of the Security Council. Among the qualities expected of a country to be an active and productive member of the Security Council are financial resources to enable it to staff its New York and Geneva UN Missions with adequate and highly qualified people. The resources needed to maintain and run a full permanent representation on the Security Council to match the other Big 5 are enormous. The Favorite South Africa is widely seen as a favorite to fill one of the "permanent seats" that will be set aside for Africa at the Security Council, should the UN adopt model 1. South Africa has credibility among the G-8 nations that the other contenders do not have. South Africa accounts for nearly 40 percent of Africa's economy, while Nigeria, with its vast oil reserves, is saddled with a national debt of $34 billion. Egypt's $2 billion aid from the US has caused uneasiness on the continent as it is an incentive to kowtow to US agenda rather than promote Africa's interests, which are in many cases at odds with Washington's. Libya, despite its oil wealth is still recovering from the UN isolation that ended in 2003. Kenya has a weak economy and is presently too bogged down in domestic politics to carry out a credible continental and international campaign. Senegal's late entry will also be costly as it is already experiencing difficulties in selling itself on a continent where it is seen as a French proxy. These three seem to be positioning themselves as regional picks should model B be adopted. South Africa's emergence as the clear favorite has not been well received by its rival, Nigeria, which has emotionally invested enormous hopes in the "African permanent seat" on the Security Council. To check South Africa's well-oiled diplomatic machine, Nigeria has launched a desperate and dirty campaign aimed at stemming what is appearing to be a sure victory. Nigerians, have dismissed South Africa and Egypt as not being "black enough" to represent Africa, compared to Nigeria that has "true blacks." Nigeria not only sees itself as "the only true African candidate" but is also prepared to back Egypt as "a compromise" should there be strong disunity over the "African candidate." International Connections In view of the AU's indecision to establish selection criteria and to endorse two candidates, some African countries have sought "strategic partnerships" with countries from other regions and on the Security Council. The African campaign for UN Security Council seats is being watched very closely and with great interest by other countries that want to trade their support with Africa's to shore up their own interests. The other regional candidates, Germany, Japan, India and Brazil have declared their support for Africa to have seats with veto power and have indicated their willingness to engage in mutual backing for the seats in exchange for increased trade. South Africa has gravitated towards a partnership with Brazil, India and Japan. Nigeria seems to be angling towards China and Russia while Egypt is banking on the US support. Senegal seems to have very strong backing from France but its candidacy will automatically be vetoed by China as it is one of the few countries in the world that has established diplomatic relations with Taiwan. Although the US has not endorsed any of the models it is openly supporting only Japan's bid, with veto rights. While France and Russia have called for veto rights for all new members other Permanent Members have kept their counsel on the issue. The new members of the Security Council must first be approved by two-thirds of the 191-member General Assembly. Then the Council's five permanent members - the US, UK, France, China, and Russia - must ratify the decision. If the UN General Assembly is left to decide for Africa, its decision would be most favorable to South Africa. Nigeria, with a poor international image, would lose to Egypt. In the Security Council, South Africa is guaranteed all of the votes while Egypt will have to rely on the US to muster the needed support. There is no doubt that the US would prefer Egypt over Nigeria, given its close historical relations and partnership in seeking solutions to the Middle East problems. The US, in its effort to engage and include the Arabs in the world's highest decision making body, has chosen a method and means that will be hard fought by Africans. In the process, it is guaranteed to increase conflict rather than to promote dialogue between civilizations in Africa. Role of African Union The AU has not only failed to pick candidates for potential African seats on the UNSC, but has also been unable to forge a consensus on how Africa should be represented at the top decision-making body. This indecision is only likely to increase the nasty undertones among those countries campaigning for the seat. , Traditionally, the AU decides such issues through regional and linguistic balancing. However, this is not an option that will be available in deciding on the UN Security Council seats. As a result of the failure of the African Union to resolve the issue of which countries should occupy Africa's two permanent seats on a reformed UN Security Council it is now inevitable that the campaign between South Africa, Nigeria, Egypt and Libya is going to be long, nasty and brutal. |
Zuma is bad for South Africa, but at least there forces that are working behind the scene to stop him from becoming the president of SA. Some of us we are really going to miss Pres. Mbeki. At least the man didn't embarass his country like Zuma is doing now. |
tpia! get a life dude! Oh get your black ass out of New Zealand and go back home. You're like a fly who crying for attention. You're constantly trying to attract my attention. Leave me alone! 10 Charectaristics of a Nigerian 1. Very noisy 2. Always looking for attention 3. Hate South Africans with passion, after people from the South beat up some of their reletives 4. Look down on Ghanains 5. Never satisfied 6. Always arguing 7. Always looking for ways to make money 8. Likes travelling, even to countries where no sane person would ever consider going there! 9. Things that God is a Nigerian resident 10. Typically African Please don't kill me over this |
This cartoon was drawn by a popular South African cartoonist in South Africa. It depicts a the ruling party president Jacob Zuma preparing to rape a woman who is potrayed as the South African Justice system. Zuma is helped by the party's alliance partners. You must remember that Zuma was charged with rape, but eventually he was found not guilty. As for the shower on top of his head. LoL. During his court appearance he told the magistrate that after sleeping with the woman he took a shower. Ever since that time, the shower has become his permanent hat. Members of the ruling party are sppiting fire after seeing this cartoon in a national newspaper. |
Brash! Or whatever you call yourself. You must get a life as@#%#$ before you go on and attack me. If you woke up on the wrong side of your bed, then stay away from old little computer you biggot. Sensible people who have humour like FOD! will understand that I never meant any malice, in fact if you put on your glasses you'll realise the fact that I was actually complimenting the Nigerian team. Haven't you heard about the word SATIRE!!!!!!! GET A LIFE DUDE!!!!! |
That's wat a young Bafana Bafana fan thought about them on Saturday after the Nigeria match.
|
No more! How much heartbreak must we suffer from these guys. I mean we literally had the match won, but these people just came from nowhere and broke our hearts. South Africa must avoid any contact with Nigerian football. These people have some spell over us, some little voodoo. But anyway hats off to Nigeria. Thats what I call "smash and grab" football. Good luck to Nigeria in Angola
|
The reason we took Nigeria to a bumpy pitch is because most of our stadiums are under renovations for the world cup. Haven't some of you heard about what we call hoodoo. Nigeria have an upper hand over us, but they're so many other great footballing nations that has never beaten us, e.g. Ivory Coast , and Cameroon has only beaten us in one match. No more soccer matches between these two countries, some of us have had it. SAFA must bribe CAF, so that we can avoid Nigeria in any official matches. All our companies (MTN, ABSA, Standard Bank) must withdraw from sponsoring these CAF events. Oh! I have a suggestion, maybe we must challenge Nigeria to a Rugby match. As for Bafana Bafana, these guys are so lucky as our country is not that soccer mad like Brazil and Nigeria, other wise we could've roasted them alive. They must thank their lucky stars that we have the Springboks (Rugby team) that's always cheers us up when the soccer guys let us down. We're only forgiving them because they lost to Nigeria, in fact we were expecting it to happen. If they loose the next game, I think that they must be adopted by the Zimbabweans, as we will remain with our Rugby and Cricket teams. |
We will never beat the Nigerians and we've accepted. But to tell the truth, the Nations Cup has never really caught our imaginations. Its not a train smash as the African Cup of Nations has never been taken serious by South Africans. I mean the tournament is one the least watched in all international events, as some South Africans don't even know some of the countries that are playing there. Thats why some of our players will rather go on holiday. We must also do away with this myth of saying Nigeria is our rivals, these people are our hoodoo, we just can't beat them. Our rivals are Australia, in rugby, cricket and soccer. I'm not consoling myself, but this is just reality. Anyway good luck Nigeria. As for Bafana Bafana, they must just know that they have our support. Every team go through a slump at some point. France and South Korea went through a rough patch before they hosted their respective world cups. |
'Peterside has his own agenda' – H Posted: 2008-09-03 18:13 Safa CEO Raymond Hack has hit back at Idah Peterside following the Nigeria national team spokesman’s outburst regarding the Super Eagles’ delay at OR Tambo International airport. Peterside lambasted South Africa’s football governing body, claiming inept handling of the Super Eagles’ arrival in the country for their all-important 2010 World Cup\African Cup of Nations qualifier, set for the EPRU Stadium in Port Elizabeth on Saturday. “We have had problems with him (Peterside) before and we are tired of his agendas. “The Nigerian national team was greeted at the airport and the reason for the hold up was because they did not comply with the government’s ruling. Some of the players never had return tickets, only e-tickets,” Hack tells KickOff.com. “Now no-one at Safa has the authority to go and get people out of immigration. Our protocol people were there, the Nigerian team was transported. We did what we could, but for him to blame us is completely incorrect. “You know, we welcome Nigeria here and they are very happy. We have always had a good relationship with them and we don’t need this.” Earlier Peterside told KickOffNigeria.com that the players were left at the airport for two hours and many want to believe that it was a ploy to frustrate the team. “Out of 14 players that arrived, only three were let through immigration. The rest were held back because they did not have return tickets and we are wondering why they did that,” Peterside said. “There was no member of the South Africa Football Association (Safa) there. It was left to a Nigerian who works at our embassy, a certain Amokachie, to do his best to ensure that our players got through immigration. “I thought that since all the players had e-tickets, then immigration would have no reason to insist on return tickets, but they refused,” Peterside fumed. He told KickOffNigeria.com that only Yakubu Aiyegbeni, John Utaka and Chris Obodo had return tickets and were let through immigration. “You know they almost missed their connecting flight and we are not happy about the two hour delay at the airport.” http://www.kickoff.com/static/news/article.php?id=4393 |
Guys let's just accept that we can't swim. Blacks can't swim. South Africa and the US serve as a typical example. All the swimmers were white in both sides. I mean in South Africa we have swimming pools all over, even in predominantly in black areas, there are swimming pools but blacks will rather play Rugby, Cricket and soccer. In the US there are swimming pools all over but blacks there will rather play basketball, football and track athletics. WE JUST CAN'T SWIM, ITS SO FUNNY. |
Nigeria must be weary of the Argentinians. We all know how dangerous they are. Nigeria must not commit many players foward. The South Americans can be dangerous when coming to counter attack football. |
The Nigeria I saw on tuesday is the Super Eagle that we used to adore in South Africa. What a brilliant perfomance by the baby eagles. I must confess, my heart was bleeding when I realised the fact that Nigeria is miles ahead when coming to the development of football when compered to us (South Africa) I can safely say that Nigeria have a team that is going to surprise the world come 2010. When I watched the boys, what came to my mind was Rachidi Yekini, Steven Keshi, Jay Jay Okocha, Daniel Amokachi, Sunday Oliseh andof course Samson Siasia. What I must emphasise is that African players normally let little success to go to thier heads. e.g. Nigerian squad that won gold in Atlanta 96 should've done better at France 98. The 2002 world cup Senegal side let their successful display to go to their heads. Most of them became big headed. They thought they've done it. Where are they now, they even failed to win the African Cup of Nations. I wish the Nigerian FA could protect these boys and nature them into big stars. The world took notice of that perfomance. Go baby eagles! Make Africa proud. |
