Dent on bonnet, Front bumper broken at bottom

Just to be sure, given the recent increases in custom clearing charges, does this price cover custom clearing charges as well?

Toyota Sienna 2012/2013 LE or SE 8 Seater how much?

Do we have this in Canada? Or any other markets from which you happen to source them? They are also popular here.

₦350 at this moment ma'am.

Currently due to the Covid19 pandemic generally disrupting economic activities likewise prices globally, having a solid static rate is almost impossible, rates are fluctuating just as prices are too, hence the reason for the slight increase currently, it can decrease or increase as its subject to the effects of the pandemic.

Everyone else adjusts their rates, but since there's the possibility of all these reverting to the normal rate at some points, we didn't bother considering making modifications as it may not be all that necessary on the long-term.

Car Talk / Re: 99% Of Nigerian Fatal Road Accidents Occur In Japanese Vehicles by MPVGoddess: 7:10am On Jan 11, 2020
If you to Ladipo and see how Toyota Hiace buses are cut to pieces and loaded into containers and reassembled in Nigeria without structural integrity you will understand why I always tell my family and friends, you can travel in any vehicle but not a Toyota Hiace unless you can guarantee it was bought brand new in Nigeria from the dealer.

If in doubt, travel in a Sienna. In any case, it has better crash protection built into it.

One more thing, they have done it to late model Mercede Benz SUVs so it is not just about Toyota Hiace but the integrity of the car seller.

Autos / Re: Where Do Rad Auto Works Parts Come From Anyway? by MPVGoddess: 7:34am On Sep 22, 2019
Some monikers created the monster CarTalk is currently dealing with.

Why are we so jobless that we can only have fun in discussing and deriding someone? Something that we cannot take kindly to, anyone who does so and anyone who joins them in making fun of others should officially be known as a small mind today and henceforth.

Can't we discuss issues and ideas instead of people

That is the genesis of the unending legal.wealth/lexus es350 saga

The moniker who started it, should stop it, apologize to legalwealth and call all his followers to order.

Using site administrators to fight another moniker for saying things we don't like, hide thoughts we don't agree with is evidence of lack of tolerance, everyone has a right to think what they think and to feel what they feel and to share what they feel, it is allowed by the law.

There is no law that mandates that everyone must think the same, feel the same, or speak the same.

The moniker who started it should also accept that if he were in legal.wealth's shoes, he would not find it funny. So stop doing to others, what you would not like to be done to you.

Making fun of others is never acceptable!

If these commonsense rules are observed, the legal.wealth/cal.culusx sage will simply die.

It can be observed that the moniker that started it all is not enjoying the same treatment, so why do it to someone else?

Car Talk / "Spring Wire Type Hose Clamp" OR "Screw Type Hose Clamp" - Which Is Better? by MPVGoddess: 10:02am On Mar 10, 2019
The screw type hose clamps are also referred to as "aviation clamps". They will not come off in any condition, loosen under load or vibration or weaken over time due to metal fatigue. That is why they are used exclusively in aviation applications. You can't afford to have a simple hose line come loose during flight!

In our application in motor vehicles, they actually have two reasons for being a better clamp to be applied,

1) Easier installation. You can use either a small socket and ratchet or a flat blade screwdriver. You don't have to try to fit those channel locks or hose clamp ring pliers into small difficult locations.

2) Larger surface area as well as no slip or metal fatigue from removal/ installation. The flat band is stronger and covers more surface area when you tighten it up. It will not slip or become weak over time(spring tension). Spring steel over time will lose some of its holding power. Same as leaf springs over time and load will flatten out (like the ole Gen 2 4runner sag)

The big reason the manufacturer uses the spring wire style is it is about 10% of the cost and speed of installation on an assembly line. Most any auto parts stores do not carry the OEM hose clamps. Yes, your dealer will carry them but that's because they are the ones the factory uses and manufactures so they will carry them for replacement. The OEM spring wire clamps do a fine job but replacing them with the screw band or aviation style stainless steel clamps gives you more piece of mind and ease of use.

They are the same clamp whether you buy them from an auto parts store of the local big box hardware outlet. Whenever I need to change out a hose or other line and there is a spring wire clamp, I replace it with a band style stainless clamp and never have an issue after installation or rust problem.

Car Talk / The Backyard Mechanic Who Is Taking On Tesla by MPVGoddess: 2:54am On Mar 09, 2019
The backyard mechanic who is taking on Tesla aka "The best car techies must have a passion for cars and for Tech (IT)" aka "flood damage doesn't necessarily spell the demise of a car, if you are willing to commit the time, the money, and the effort to restore it"

By Billy Baker, Globe Staff March 04, 2019

SALEM — Three years ago, in his driveway in Salem, Rich Benoit rigged some ropes and pulleys and did something that could modestly be described as a bad idea.

He pulled a 1,300-pound, 400-volt battery out of a Tesla that had been underwater.

And then, with no real clue of what he was doing, he opened it and tried to fix it.

“It was terrifying,” Benoit says now.

It was also the beginning of what has become one of the more interesting narratives in these early days of the modern era of the electric car, one that asks and answers a lot of questions and has turned the 36-year-old Benoit — a father of three who works in IT in Boston — into one of its early superstars.

The Tesla that started it all, a Model S that Benoit refers to as Delores, was purchased from a salvage yard after it had been caught in a flood in New Jersey. Benoit had a friend who owned a Model S, and the moment he pulled it into Benoit’s driveway to take him for a ride, Benoit was obsessed. The way it was whisper quiet. The impossible acceleration from zero to I-feel-like-I’m-on-a-roller-coaster-and-about-to-throw-up in an instant. The way he could feel all of the work that went into creating the vehicle, a history of progress that combined to create this feeling of the future.

“It was like a laptop on wheels,” he says. “The perfect mixture of my two things: tech and cars.”

You might have heard of University of Saskatchewan in Canada, they do more of research work. So if your friend is thinking of going to Canada for masters or PhD she should kindly give it a trial.

Tell her to visit the school website n search for the department offering the course she want.

There are contact details of lecturers taking the different courses.

Collect the contact n start communicating with him or her n if the person is impressed with her work, they help her secure admission, pay her tuition fees and in return she do their research work for them n they still pay her.

I really appreciate the level of concern you have shown in this matter.

It is uncommon and I deeply appreciate from the depth of my heart.

I am passing it on to the individuals who need it so desperately.

If something positive comes out of it, you will be the first to know.

If it is research based, you can be awarded a scholarship to study in Canada

Okay sir.

But let me say this, ten to twenty years to this time, this (thing) you just did might come against you for being 'manipulative' except you change your moniker, this is internet age. You raise doubts and suspicions, you had better chance to set things straight but you chose the other way.

It's not about gaining client or 'loosing' one as you have made it look, it not about me, it is about you. Lucky enough, this is a faceless forum, but remember, it not as anonymous as you think. Good luck and enjoy your weekend.

Make I go cast my ballot sad
