Alvin007:Those minutes can mean the difference between seeing that babe and missing her Those minutes can mean you will escape from armed robbers That speed may be the only way to compensate somehow for miles upon miles of bad roads and hours upon hours of being stuck in slow moving traffic as a result of poor urban planning, overpopulation, road constructions or plain silly and inexplicable lockjams |
eezeribe:Wicked soul...Kill joy...but you made sense |

How much would it cost to bring in an item that has the following dimensions? 4 metres long 2 metres wide 1.5 metre high Approx. weight 250kg |
I have posted before on Transportation business. Drivers want hire purchase so they can get what their limited financial power cannot get. It does not favor the car owner in terms of multiplying profits, although it favors the the car owner in terms of legalese. Car owners want rental so they can maximize profit from investment. It does not favor the driver in the sense that he is not working to own. That said a shrewd driver will put himself in the shoes of the owner when negotiating instead of thinking what is in it for me alone. Agreed that a driver faces a lot of risks on the road, but the car owner faces even more risk, giving someone who cannot afford 1m to 5m control of a property worth that much. It is not easy to raise capital and that cost and the risk must be respected and rewarded. Drivers must never ever forget that! |
How much is a fair price for a Nigerian used Honda Accord 2004 model? Aka EOD? i4 not v6 |

Please what are the current UberX Prices in Lagos? Minimum Fare? Per Kilometre? Per Minute? |
EgunMogaji:Thanks for your insight. Takeaways: 1. Do this if you control the cement mix used to make the blocks 2. Don't do this with commercially sourced cement blocks Thanks again for sharing the benefit of your vast experience. |
EgunMogaji:Thank you...does that include those said to be made from stone dust and cement? |
Please watch this video especially at 9:10 to 9:25 minutes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZp0oaB1Wqw Any recommendations for a reliable brand of Concrete and Brick Diamond Circular Saw How much does it cost to get one? (Purchase) Assuming the cost is prohibitive and so not cost-effective for a single project, are they available for rent?(rent per day) In Abuja? I am interested in putting up a building, but if I had my way, I want to blocks to be sliced this way and not the Nigerian way, if you know what I am talking about. Two reasons: 1. It is just beautiful due to the symmetry 2. It will reduce/eliminate wastage of cement blocks If you have one for sale or rent, please add your contact details in your signature and I will get back to you. |
https://www.nairaland.com/2875999/meets-exceeds-o.e-grade-automotive Bosch is in a class of its own Hankook is in an other class...lesser than Bosch The rest belong to another class...let's just say in Indian terms, a caste lesser than those above JUST A NOTE OF CAUTION Never hit the battery terminals yourself... and expressly instruct your mechanics never to...that is one thing untrained mechanics love to do that greatly reduces battery life span Secondly, be sure the battery is hard to move More tips here: http://www.lusanga.com/probe/probe-premium-battery/how-batteries-get-damaged |
prodigyx1:I like your attitude Like Dad used to say civility is not a sign of weakness Keep your cannons ready, but don't fire yet...if he does not make amends within 7 days from your going public, please feel free to fire on all cylinders, it will be both well deserved and secondly, your maturity and patience in dealing with him will be clear beyond a shadow of a doubt And someone clearly needs to sign up in the class of human and public relations cause no matter how high he aims to fly, it is other people that will make it happen, and with this attitude of his, he has already made that a lot more difficult, if indeed it will ever happen outside of his dreams |
The police have power to invite for questioning, to summon, and to arrest If the police should repeatedly invite someone and he doesn't That is an affront not only on the investor and the other party whose vehicle was damaged but on the state Hope you have lawyers.... are you taking on more than you can chew? If the apparatus of the state turns on you, you are a goner, no one fights the state and wins. To make matters worse, you refused to come and refused to allow the driver to come (read that to mean obstruction of justice aka perverting justice) have you ever heard of collusion, complicity, conspiracy and corroboration...partners in crime You had a presumption of innocence...by refusing to come repeatedly, the presumption of innocence is gone can someone tell me why this cannot become both a criminal and civil case against you? Is your time more precious than the time of those who deceived repeatedly to wait for you to come? |
The distance between a report of a matter to a police and it becoming a criminal matter is a very short one. Your partner in business has been noted in the past for poor human relations...whether that is true or not, I will not dwell on. You can douse the fire or you can escalate it. Bear in mind that if anything happens to your partner, you will feel the heat and your joint business will feel the heat. You can turn a misunderstanding into a war or you can make good PR out of a bad situation... it is all about handling. I guess I should leave you guys with some thoughts... it is not about saving face, it is already in the public domain, refusing to address issues does not make them go away. Tread carefully.. and do not forget the golden rule...treat others the way you would like to be treated. Many are watching... Proverbs 15:1, 2, 4 1. A mild answer turns away rage, But a harsh word stirs up anger. 2. The tongue of the wise makes good use of knowledge, But the mouth of the stupid blurts out foolishness. . . 4. A calm tongue is a tree of life, But twisted speech causes despair. . . 18. A hot-tempered man stirs up strife, But one who is slow to anger calms a quarrel. . . Proverbs 16:18, 19 , 21 - 25 18. Pride is before a crash, And a haughty spirit before stumbling. 19. Better to be humble among the meek Than to share the spoil of the haughty. . . 21. The wise in heart will be called understanding, And the one kind in speech adds persuasiveness. 22. Insight is a fountain of life to those possessing it, But fools are disciplined by their own foolishness. 23. The heart of the wise one gives his mouth insight And adds persuasiveness to his speech. 24. Pleasant sayings are a honeycomb, Sweet to the soul and a healing to the bones. 25. There is a way that seems right to a man, But in the end it leads to death. |

This is a picture heavy link showing details of a similar project embarked on by a user on his Sienna http://www.siennachat.com/forum/69-mods-projects/7867-just-bagged-my-sienna.html |
Here is a post on the same device fitted to a Sienna http://www.siennachat.com/forum/66-problems-maintenance-repair/11507-air-shocks-2004-sienna-7-passenger.html To evade the antispam bot I will make another post that contains a link with pictures |
Turns out that Sienna at least from 2004 down have a sagging problem at the rear when heavily loaded Local techs fix the problem by replacing its rear shocks with that from another vehicle Research points to a better solution though, so I will be purchasing and ensuring that the following is fitted to the ride: an air suspension kit which can be either manual (just air lift springs) or fully automatic (inclusive of air compressors) depending on the cost outlay. https://www.amazon.com/LIFT-60732-1000-Air-Spring/dp/B000CFS028 Think of the automatic version as no different from what you would expect on a Range Rover from a Toyota Sienna. This is a must given the state of Nigerian roads which causes the vehicle to exert undue pressure on vehicle components including the exhaust pipes |
muller101:Since he don't use it, guide him. Never said they are no use, but the roadside tech, the owner and the FSM can make a powerful combo - that was and remains my point |
