i am sure you mean everything you wrote, because you have never been abroad yet...you've never been in a country where the winter cold could kill you and therefore you need somewhere warm to sleep; you've never been abroad where you could work for 18hs per day doing illegal work, and not remotely make ends meet; you've never been abroad where even with the best diplomas in hand, you still wouldnt find anything better than washing dishes.

bro, i understand your frustration of being in Africa, but stop looking at movies or listening to yeye people telling you that abroad is a walk in the park. everywhere you go there will be 100s of thousands of people like you desperate to make it big, thinking that life is so much easier in the west while failing to understand that you first need to get a good job to remotely be able to survive (or become a criminal).

i would advise you to instead try to make it in Nigeria and save as much as you can (easier) then go abroad on your own merit. dont get this begging mentality that will attract the wrong people aka people who will sponsor you abroad but then give you a package to bring over (that could land you in DEATH PENALTY in some countries).

no man/woman can ever be changed into what a stranger wants them to be, unless he/she is ready to change. also, some petty things can be upgraded but your main character/being cannot. its easier to leave and continue looking for your spec than trying to change anyone.

Now, I've been confused for a while on this travelling abroad issue. The thing is, I've been working for over 10 year's in a fed govt parastatal, the pay ain't bad at all.
Got married 2 years ago and we've got an extremely beautiful daughter. Now, the ish is my wife has been totally idle. The Real me wants to send my wife abroad (Canada) for studies because she read microbiology in her first degree and I feel she's got the passion for the course. Also she is still relatively young (28 years) while I'm 37.
I'm not doing badly in my current place of work at all. My honest take on this is letting her go first while I stay back and make more money to fund her studies then maybe when she gets settled I and our daughter might join her.

My pop man had encouraged me to travel out, promised to give me the Proof of fund of 25 million whenever I need it.

MY FEARS:What if she changes mid way? I do not have a problem of me going to further mine, but I'm just being realistic in that she's way younger(9 years younger) and her course is one of the most sort after courses they've got abroad currently. I want the best for her but what if she changes midway.

you guys are married, if you want to leave, then LEAVE TOGETHER WITH THE WHOLE FAMILY! if the whole family cannot leave together, then you should ALL stay back until you are ALL ready to leave together. sending your wife (or yourself) abroad while you/she stay back is not only wrong, its very DANGEROUS.

every men have the right to decide how they wanna react to any issue in their marriage... there are no rules set in stone saying that every men should take care of their family, regardless of what is happening in their lives.

i can fully understand why...
- many men will not pay support for children if/when their wife forbids them to see their own kids
- many men will not pay support for wives that are disrespectful/unfaithful/dishonest/deceitful to them
- many men will stop supporting a wife that they have decided to divorce (unless a judge decides otherwise) even though they may still be married.
