Csami: when ghandi was talking about a new race of black, it was because of you. U need a change of perspective, a total overhauling of that sad pathetic thing u call life and u need to grow up.
Ghanid was a phucking racist ! But the media wouldn't let you know that .

Biggyd2: Craving your indulgence here. But is the case of Bakassi really over?

In the Maroua Declaration of 1975, the then Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon and his Cameroonian counterpart, Ahmadu Ahidjo, signed an agreement accepting that Bakassi was a part of Cameroon in what many believe was a gratitude for the role played by Ahmadu Ahidjo in suppressing the Biafran secessionist war.
On March 29, 1994, Cameroon asked the ICJ to determine the course of the maritime frontier between Nigeria and Cameroon. Also in the June the same year, Cameroon asked the court to determine on a definitive basis, Nigerian-Cameroon frontier from Lake Chad to the Sea and to order the withdrawal of Nigerian troops from the disputed peninsula. Although on December 13, 1995, Nigeria raised preliminary objections to the jurisdiction of the court and to the admissibility of Cameroon’s claims. The ICJ rejected on June 11, 1998, seven out of the eight preliminary objections raised by Nigeria and declared that it had jurisdiction to prosecute the case.
Then on October 10, 2002 in a 150-page ruling, Gilbert Guillaume, President of the ICJ, said, “the court decided that pursuant to the Anglo-German Agreement of March 11, 1913, sovereignty over Bakassi lies with Cameroon.” Consequently, “the court requests Nigeria expeditiously and without condition to withdraw its administration and military or police forces from the area of Lake Chad falling within Cameroonian sovereignty and from the Bakassi peninsula.”

The Bakassi case is one that may continue to hunt the country for a very long time to come.

And yet Gowon walks a free man , Yet we celebrate him in this sorry excuse for a country .

Hahaha grin. one advice to the bakasiANS(I'm guessing that's what the citizens of this "24hr nation" would be called ROFLMAO), Ask Gowon why he ceded your land to the Cameroonians and under what international law did he do this . The man who made the mess should be held accountable to FIX the mess and if he can't fix it then he must face the consequence . Going to war with the Cameroonians would be a very short yet brutal 24hr war and i hope they aren't expecting Nigeria to help them because that would be so Naive of them , I mean Nigeria sold you guys out why should Nigeria support you . Good luck but i would surprised if this nation lasts for more than 5hrs let alone 24hrs

‘Ogoni declaration ill-conceived, senseless radicalism'

AN opinion poll conducted by Nation Evening Express has shown that most Ogoni people are opposed to last weekend’s declaration of self-government by the Movement for the Survival of Ogoni People (MOSOP).
Over 80 per cent of respondents in our opinion poll conducted between Sunday morning and early hours of today described the declaration by MOSOP President/Spokesman, Dr. Goodluck Diigbo either as a ‘mistake’ or as an ‘ill-advised’ move that is capable of creating further tension in the area.
Lucky Legborsi, an artisan, told our reporter in Port Harcourt: “People are only trying to make names for themselves, irrespective of what it costs the ordinary Ogoni man. I do not think that the man did his homework well.”
For Neeka Igbara, who responded to our inquiry on Facebook, the true position of the Ogoni in the struggle for a better life is hinged on the ‘Ogoni Bill of Rights’. “I stand by the content and position of the "Ogoni Bill of Rights" as declared by our late leader Ken Saro; I am not part of any other rubbish,” he said.
Igbara described the declaration as ‘senseless radicalism’ by the MOSOP leader.
Reacting in the same vein, Larry Wifa called for unity, urging Ogoni leaders to shun personal ambitions and “creating factions and making a mockery of the struggle that our heroes paid the ultimate price for.”
Nevertheless, a caller, who simply identified himself as Keena, backed Diigbo’s declaration, insisting that “it is time our leader stop talking, let is take some action that will force the mindless Federal Government to listen to our voice.”
The declaration also enjoys the support of the Ogoni Farmers Association, which has pledged its total commitment to the cause.

teminoni: There have been reported threats on mosques, including shootings and bombings, but I have not heard of any casualties what so ever. The muslim worshipers are always saved by one mysterious obstacle or 'premature' explosion before getting to the mosque.

What I'm trying to say is churches are attacked and there are dead worshipers. Mosques are attacked but there is never a single dead worshiper.

I think this is just a tactic by boko haram to make us think mosques are being attacked by christians so they have the right to attack more churches. Or they are trying to cause confusion and thus, a religious war.

Plz I stand to be corrected if wrong.
Spot on. Anyway now everyone can enjoy ONE NIGERIA
