Good afternoon everyone.
Please my passport will expire on the 22 of September 2022 and I intend sending my passport to ircc office but it was written that I cannot be issued a Visa beyond the date on my passport.
Please If I plan to travel in September is there anything I need to worry about or I should renew my passport before sending to ircc office.

Good day Gurus in the house. I gained admission into Niagara college this year March for Post Graduate Course, schl to resume September,2022. My questions:

1) My passport expires April 29th, but I have applied for passport renewal since April 4th. My capturing date is May 19th.

But I was told collection of passport may extend to end of June and I want to use the passport to process visa application. School resumption is September, this year and visa processing is longer nowadays.
I wrote the school to defer the admission and they said the program only take place once in a year, that next intake should be September 2023. Alternatively I should take another course. I have checked, other courses available are diploma, no other PGC. I have B.Eng already.

Should I defer to next year or there is a way to fast track collection of passport and will I still be able to get visa to meet September resumption? Thanks for your anticipated response.

Hello,

I think you should plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz go back to CAN for your studies and apply for SOWP or even a visiting visa, for hubby and don’t risk going for another study permit application. You can always go to that school you desire afterwards.
Your 2m will not be a waste cos knowledge will be acquired, besides, you will be working.

What a wrong period to get a refusal, but at the same time, you need to put this aside and enjoy your holidays..

It's just a refusal and not a Ban or a death of a loved one, so cheer up.. You will smile at last..

As it is our tradition here after a refusal, order for your GCMS notes, no matter how long it will take, it will be very useful for your re-application.. You cant totally work with these generic refusal reasons, we need to know what exactly the Visa officer wasn't convinced about.. SO order for your GCMS notes, and when it's ready, drop it here...

I will interpret the notes for you or any of the knowledgeable ones here... And I believe when you follow instructions and re-apply, you will get your Visa..

So cheer up and break Chicken or Turkey bones tomorrow with some chilled drinks....

So sorry bro, I know this is painful but you will get it if you dont give up.

Wait for your GCMS notes to arrive to help you see areas that you can improve on.

In the meantime, please try to take your mind off and enjoy the holiday, take sometime to relax and have fun.

You can contact any of the gurus privately in your re-application to help you review your SOP.

It would end in praise.

So sorry Mrczar, is just a delay. Be rest assured your it will b approved in your next Application.

We know GCMS Note takes time now, but you still have apply for it as that's the only way to get the VO's concerns.

But,
Are you a matured student?

Did you use a sponsor? If yes, did you show your own POF?

Did you show any job/work ties, assets, professional ties?

while you apply for your note and at the moment, be your own VO. Think of what could have gone wrong based on the generic reply. Ponder what you could do differently and think of if any document(s) could be added. So that when your note will come out, you must have drafted and redrafted your LOE countless times. Don't sit and wait for note to come before starting to draft your LOE.

It will surely end in praises

The MP supports on schools within thier constituency so check the one in the same region where your school is and give them a call and email.

I will also suggest you keep sending e-mail reminders to IRCC as your application has passed standard processing times.

It seems they now take Police cert. seriously

I submitted earlier but since it has 3 months validity much reason they asked me to submit another one.

Please what are my chances after submitting the Police Cert?
