ogunsbanjul: Stop distorting facts out of hatred for her tribe. I know this lady personally. In fact, she is like a mum to me. Practically raised me up. She was the First female pilot in Nigeria. This is different from being the first female Nigeria Airways Pilot, which belongs to Hadiza Lantana Oboh. We also have the first Nigerian female fighter pilot, the first Nigerian female military pilot, the first Nigerian female helicopter pilot, etc. The thing is Hadiza was very popular because of her stint in Nigeria Airways. The hate for her tribe fills your grey matter and you can't differentiate between the first Nigeria female pilot and the first Nigeria Airways female pilot. How do I know this? I was practically born and raised in aviation since the mid-80s. My father is an Aircraft maintenance engineer, trained in NCAT, and was a colleague and friend to this great woman. I have seen good pilots I know die in Fixed-wing aircraft and Helicopter crashes. You are arguing against a lady who received a MON National award, conferred by GEJ to that effect (for being the first female pilot in Nigeria)? Calm down and help yourself with this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXaNdoLHbDg?si=9-NDUfWkboN-98dH |

fuckJones: So you singling out the southeast alone to mark them as irrelevant in politics shows your extreme bigoted bias and spite. Your statement should have been " Southwest alone or North East alone or North west alone, North Central alone, can vote in a Nigerian President. Your are comparing the voting power of multiple geopolitical zones to 1 geopolitical zone (South East) shows that you lack education. Get educated! None can decide nada alone. Quote me anywhere...π€ͺπ€ͺπ€ͺ You can bet your life savings on this fact if you have one at all...π |

fuckJones: Guy don't be so dull in reasoning. If you are from the Southwest or North, can any of those regions vote in a Nigerian president alone without the support of other geopolitical zones? No geopolitical zone can do it alone. Don't be dumb! If Tinubu was the Labour party Presidential candidate will he win? Tinubus win is purely due to APC structure and they had about 20 sitting governors as a support base. Nothing else. I don't think Labour party had any or 1 sitting governor at most. A structureless party without voting agents in most of the wards in Nigeria still polled 6million plus votes says a lot. Tinubu lost the commercial capital and the federal capital and yet still won the election. I came to an understanding that the illiterates, most especially in the core north can be a decider when the election battle is tough. The literates can't really decide anything. |

Bouncing2: My brother low the volume. Don't loud itππππ. Don't let them know the truth so they don't attack us economically πππ...I repeat no tribe has the best quality of life in Nigeria than the Igbos. Look around your neighborhood for starters. No wonder some yorubas were disenfranchised in the 2023 Lagos Governorship election for looking like Igbos. I examined these disenfranchised Yorubas, them fresh die in terms of appearance. Just like your regular Igbo man or woman. It gives you an idea how poor Yorubas see the average Igbo man. I have been to every geopolitical zone in Nigeria as well. Nah Igbos they enjoy this country pass (quality of life). I haven't come across an extremely poor Igbo man in the category of beggers, dirt truck pushers, iron condemn cart pushers, refuse pickers etc. Never!!! Other tribes most especially the north, and the Southwest to an extent, have these categories of people in good doses. I live in Lagos, and the people that handle the most menial, degrading jobs are the Northerners, followed by Southwest. Despite them clinging to power for decades. Nah their people they clear our gutters, pick our refuse, shine our shoes, dig our pits and wells, clear our soakaways, while we pay them stipends. When I see people voting along tribal lines, you'll wonder if they benefit anything from their people in power. If your immediate family isn't directly benefiting from politics, your tribesmen being in power is totally useless to you. When the elections are done and dusted, you'll still go to shine the Igbo man shoes and clear his septic tank. Good governance redistributes wealth from the rich to the poor. Tribalism only enriches the political elites...Bitter Truth!!! ππππππππππππ 2 Likes |
Phones / Re: Internet Penetration: Why South East Remains Lowest At 13.7 Million Users by Mrdigitech(m): 3:44pm On Mar 02, 2022 |
When they say our institutions of higher learning in Nigeria are nothing to write home about we start complaining and bickering. Look at the poor statistical report produced by half-baked statisticians in Nigeria. I'm so ashamed. Let me educate them a bit. First and foremost, I'm no statistician. I studied accountancy in a one of the universities in Lagos. However, I offered statistics as a course in my freshman year. When you talk about internet penetration, you are simply talking about a percentage of a given populace that have access to the internet. It isn't based on the total number of internet users in a given region, state and country. For Example, Let's say Nigeria, with a total population of 200milliion, has about 50million users with access to the internet. The percentage internet internet penetration is 25%. Denmark and UAE, two countries which the total Nigerian internet users exceed their total population, have an internet penetration of 99%, aren't you surprised? Same principle should be applied to the respective States in Nigeria. The total number of internet users in a given region has nothing to do with internet penetration. A state may consist of 100,000 people, and 80,000 of the inhabitants may have access to the internet, that will give you a better internet penetration stats than a state with 200 million people with only 80 million inhabitants having access to the internet. Our educational system needs to be overhauled. All the people who use this stats to mock and cast aspersions irrespective of tribe are half baked as well, if at all they attended any of the so-called institutions of higher learning in Nigeria. https://www.statista.com/statistics/227082/countries-with-the-highest-internet-penetration-rate/ 2 Likes |

demefaboy: It's so easy to blame the late pilot. Didn't you read that they were kind of cash strapped as they couldn't foot their landing and parking fees? So it would make more sense they save the scarce resources they had by going to a nearby airport to get cheaper fuel. What's wrong in going to a nearby airport to get fuel? Lots of airlines take routes that help to save fuel as well as get them at a cheaper cost. If the weather was perfect, it would have been a normal routine or procedure. You also blame the Algerian airport officials for holding them up due to parking fees because if they weren't delayed, they would have probably beaten the weather. |

wingmanIII: Capt. Amaechi was a close family friend. I didn't get to know him in person because I was still a kid when the incident happened. But my parents talked so much about him. He played a pivotal role in their wedding. (My dad was an Aircraft Engineer, by the way). As I saw this headline, Tanmaraset Algeria came to my mind. It was always mentioned in my home by my mum. We still have his pictures in our family album. May the gentle souls of the crew as well as the departed players rest in the bossom of the almighty. 3 Likes |

charlsy: Draft2digital is strictly digital as the name implies. Their main purpose of existence is to help you convert your book manuscript to digital formats and then distribute the books to popular publishing platforms (Including Amazon). They use to publish paperbacks to Createspace before but they stopped the service a long time ago. |

ambitiouschap: I mainly use the technique MK2 suggested. I now found other things about Keyword research on my own using publisher rocket. I haven't found a good keyword research video on Youtube. The Keyword research aspect is where the secret to success in this business lies. If everyone researches and publishes their books the same way, then the business will become too saturated and then nosedive. |

I have about $2500 set aside to invest in books. I try to ensure I get the Keyword research aspect right do I don't waste money. |
