titiloyeblog: Residents of Okofia, Otolo Nnewi in Anambra state have banished a man in his 60s for reportedly impregnating his daughter twice.
In photos shared on Facebook, the elderly man who is allegedly from Okija in Ihiala Local Government Area had palm fronds tied on his neck. His daughter who was carrying a baby also had palm fronds tied on her leg to show that they engaged in abominable acts.
The father and daughter were then led to a waiting bus where all their property was packed in by the community members.
Facebook user, Okoro Abraham who shared the photos wrote;
I really love communities like these that do take this kinds of issues very seriously if this where to have happened in some places no one would even bothered everyone would surely be minding his or her own business.
Drinokrane: Femi Fani Kayode, a former minister for aviation, has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of prosecuting only former public office holders who are Christians.
The former Minister made this Pronouncement via his Twitter handle, he also questioned President Muhammadu Buhari if Christians are the only ones that steal government treasuries among the former public office holders, Igbere TV reports.
He wrote: “Every former Governor and key former public office holder that has been convicted of corruption since Buhari came to power from Jolly Nyam to Joshua Dariye to Bala Ngilari to Orji Kalu is a Christian. Make of it what you will but that is a fact. Is it only Christians that steal?”
Although ffk is right on this one buhari should continue to jail corrupt politicians from the East whose massive looting have deprived the SE of basic infrastructures like good roads, public health centers etc.
Checkout how Ikpeazu is reconstructing deplorable Osisioma road Aba, also installing Streetlights in Enyimba city
These roads looks substandard I really doubt if they can last up to a year ikpeazu needs to go to gov. Umahi of ebonyi state for tutoring on how to build quality roads that lasts with little resources.
Racoon: Good! All the leaders in this oppressive & repressive APC govt. from the president to the least in the political heiracy of leadership should be shamed, disgraced & boycotted.
Since they failed to acknowledge that the masses put them in position hence care less about their wellbeing, then it's time to put them where they rightly belong-the political dustbin of histroy.Ndi ara.
Who award help? As long as the billions keeps coming from the Villa osinbanjo won't mind.
IkwerreSon: Governor Wike of Rivers State has urged the Ikwerre People not to be intimidated saying there can be no political position without the ikwerre people playing prominent roles.
He said: Let nobody intimidate you, we are not second class citizens and we will not be second class citizens.
If anybody ask you, where are you from, say I am an “Ikwerre Man”. Some people think we are not important, we are important, we are very very important,
If they like it or they don’t like it, the politics of Nigeria and Rivers State we are very very important.
No ethnic group in nigeria is second class it's just selfish greedy politicians that is making it look as if we have first, second and third class Nigerians. These wicked politicians use our ethnic and religious differences to win elections every four years, nigerians really needs to wake up. There is no way an Ikewere man can even win any election in nigeria at the federal level without the support of those wike feel are second class citizens.
This is what you get when you elect a terrorist as ur president they have finally found official way to wipe out the entire population of southern and middle belt Nigeria.
BeLookingIDIOT: Purchase Innoson cars if you just feel like wasting money.Aside their outrageous prices for low quality products, they still don't last. Why give their brands Igbo names That's rude! Hope igbos are his only targeted market.
There is absolutely nothing rude there so u want him to name his cars english or yoruba names? Why didnt u protest when the nigerian army recently named their mine resistant armoured vehicle ezukwu mrap. Hate combined with envy kills my friend.

Zoharariel: I'm neither beefing nor hating on Innoson but I'd rather buy these 3 German Machines (which are on my bucket list) than touch any Innoson Jalopies with a long pole. It is called choice.
1.) 2014 Audi A8 in Velvet Biege leather interior.
2.) 2016 Mercedes Benz S550 in Silk Biege leather interior.
3.) 2018 Bmw Alpina B7 in Black Leather.
Innoson sells his Chinese death traps for 25Million Naira & above but the highest I can get these USED German Machines is $95,000 which ofcourse - is the Alpina.
The rest (Audi A8 & Benzo S550) I can get for less than $30,000.
So, if Innoson likes, he can release an Airplane or Helicopter - I simply don't give a fvck!
Rome wasn't built in a day patronize and encourage ur country men so that they can also grow and compete with the very best in the world some day. This Audi cars u love so much started from somewhere they didnt start up as the very best in the world market.
fernandez1: These man is really trying.....oya corruption fighters oya ban importation of foreign used cars so that we will buy and grow naija......
Innoson currently don't have the capacity to meet up with the demand this is a market of almost 200m people. I don't think he even produces up to 1m cars yearly.
EBMedia: Lauretta Onochie said that there was no evidence to show that DSS re-arrested Sowore as was reported.
She said:
WHO DRAMA EPP? EVERY LIE WILL EXPIRE. COURTROOM DRAMA EXPLAINED.
So it was a stage managed drama in the court yesterday; Sowore pinned down by his supporters in a courtroom in order to give DSS a bad name.
There was no gun. No batton. No pinning down. Just plain drama, planned and staged by his boys and girls. Kudos, but every lie has an expiration date.
Many EYEWITNESSES have said DSS was OUTSIDE the courtroom, not inside the courtroom.
Here's one more eyewitness account as reported by Adeniyi Adegbomire SAN-
A friend of mine, Wale Fapohunda, who was in court today when Sowore's re-arrest was purportedly effected inside the courtroom has this to say about the incident:
"Okay, so I was in court today and here is what happened.
The court had adjourned his matter till 11th Feb next year.
The court called the next matter and proceeding had commenced in respect of the next matter.
Sowore stepped OUT OF THE COURT ROOM and suddenly we heard noises coming from the corridor "leave me alone" "they want to kill me" "they want to kill Sowore" and all that.
Suddenly Sowore's people started dragging him with the DSS and they (Sowores team) dragged him into the court room.
The judge seeing this, rose and went to her chambers.
The DSS didn't enter the court room to arrest him rather his supporters dragged him in with the DSS official.
Nobody chased the judge out, she rose and went to her chambers on seeing squabbles.
The DSS official left the court room and waited for him outside the court.
Thank you all. Behold my eye witness account".
Blackmailing government enforcement agencies was how our nation went into decay. It wont work this time. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW.
It appears everyone in that drama was part of the drama club. They harassed a Court officer who wanted them out as they were disrupting another court case. A Lawyer who looked bemused with the whole drama was lost for words.
Drama has not helped Dino Melaye. It has not helped Olise Metuh. Drama has not helped Orji Uzo Kalu.
Drama will not help Sowore because Once you dramatise a lie to the members of the public to attract sympathy, you lose all of that sympathy when they find out you have misled them.
I'm also of the opinion that the police look into these videos, (I have watched four) and charge those who deliberately misled the general public on this issue.
Human rights lawyer, Mr Femi Falana (SAN), who leads Mr Omoyele Sowore’s defence team, has asked the Nigerian Bar Association to take disciplinary actions against lawyers in President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet over what he described as desecration of the court with Sowore’s rearrest at the Federal High Court in Abuja, causing a disruption of court proceedings.
He said his legal team would meet on Saturday to determine the next line of action.
He said there were 10 lawyers with four of them Senior Advocates of Nigeria, who ought to live up to their oath to defend the Constitution and other laws of the country, by ensuring that the rule of law was observed by the government.
The SANs in the cabinet are Vice President Yemi Osinbajon (SAN), Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami; Minister of State for Labour, Mr Festus Keyamo; and Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola.
He said, “Even though President Muhammadu Buhari has a duty to caution the Department of State Services, the blame of the desecration of the court today (Friday) rests squarely on lawyers in government, who are under a duty to ensure that the rule of law is observed.

“They have all taken the oath to respect the Constitution and other laws of the country. That Constitution guarantees the independence and impartiality of the courts.
“They therefore cannot sit in a cabinet under a regime that terrorises the courts and subverts the rule of law.
“It is a matter the Nigerian Bar Association should take up against the lawyers in the cabinet by instituting disciplinary proceedings against them.”
Faulting the arrest of his client, he described it as contemptuous.
He also noted that it was not backed by any arrest warrant or detention order of court.
He said, “There is no warrant of arrest, there is no detention order. What the DSS did today was the height of contempt of court.
“Nobody is above the law. You either abolish the courts or allow them to function effectively.
“This is a situation where the DSS operatives invaded the court and forced the judge to adjourn proceedings; they chased the judge out of her court, disrupted the proceedings and forced the judge to adjourn all cases.
“These are manifestations of fascism, which cannot be accepted in any civilised society. This has never happened in Nigeria where you take over a court forcefully in order to arrest an unarmed citizen.
“You remember that it was the illegal invasion of the National Assembly by masked DSS men that led to the dismissal of the former DG, DSS, by this government.
“So for the same barbaric conduct to occur again is unacceptable. This is a regime that parades 10 senior lawyers, including four Senior Advocates of Nigeria.”
Asked if he had been informed of any reason why his client was rearrested or whether he was going to be freshly, he said “no”
The whole blame should actually go to u and others that deliberating packaged a well known unrepentant terrorist and dictator to gullible nigerians to elect as their president. We can forgive all those who were'nt born befor buhari became a military head of state in 1983 but not all those who witnessed all his brutality yet vigorously campaigned for him due to their tribal, religous and economic personal interests?

I'm sure everybody was trying to look for an excuse and reasons why he did'nt perform and why he lost. I think it was down to style. Styles make fights and i have been calling Aj out for a while. I knew his style was perfect for me and that's why i plan to do same thing".

NORSYK: Okorocha forfeits state-of-the art hospital to Federal Government
Okorocha, now the property of the Federal Government
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC secured another victory Friday in its campaign against grand corruption in public service as Justice T.G Ringin of a Federal High Court sitting in Owerri, ordered the final forfeiture of a hospital linked to former governor Rochas Okorocha.
Dews of Hope Hospital, located in the heart of Imo capital of Owerri Dews of Hope Hospital is a N1.5 Billion state-of-the-art 200-bed hospital, whose ownership was denied by a former aide to Okorocha. The forfeiture came a day after the commission secured the conviction and sentencing of former governor Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia State(1999-2007) for money laundering and corruption.
The Commission had on August 22, 2019 secured the interim forfeiture of the Owerri hospital from a vacation Judge, Justice A. T Mohammed of Federal High Court, Port Harcourt.
The application for interim forfeiture was triggered by evidence that the facility may have been acquired through proceeds of illicit activities, as funds from Government House, Owerri were traced to the hospital.
The Commission’s investigation revealed that Dr. Paschal Obi, former Permanent Secretary and Principal Secretary to then Governor Okorocha, now a serving member of the House of Representatives, was a signatory to the accounts.
However, Obi, like members of the board of the hospital, vehemently denied ownership of the medical facility. The managing director of the hospital on invitation, could not also explain how the hospital was funded.
These developments led the Commission to file for the forfeiture of the property on July 25, 2019 under Section 17 of the Advance Fee Fraud, and Other Related Offences Act 2006.
In granting the request for the interim forfeiture of the property, the court ordered the anti-graft agency to publish the Order in a national newspaper, which was accordingly complied with in the Nation Newspaper of August 30, 2019 and Leadership Newspaper of September 3,2019 respectively, asking interested parties to show cause why the property should not be forfeited to the federal government within fourteen days from the dates of the publications.
Upon the expiration of the fourteen day notice and with no one showing interest in the hospital, the Commission filed for the final forfeiture of the facility.
The hospital located at the heart of Owerri metropolis, had an adjourning staff and doctor’s quarters.
Welcome development although the people of the south east dont like buhari he should help us jail all the criminal igbo politicians that has made the whole region to lack good basic infrastractures due to massive corruption. He can leave tinibu and other corrupt politicians from other regions if their people dont want them to be prosecuted.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uwn0tt9c--A FLASH: DSS finally re-arrests Omoyele Sowore after chasing judge out of the courtroom with gun. He has been taken to the headquarters of the DSS.
#FreeSoworeNow #FreeSowore
Buhari is a real fulani man they never forgets or forgives no matter how long it takes that's just their nature. Sowore Don buy market.
maximunimpact: I think there's an inherent problem within a people with poor sense of reasoning, everything to them is always us vs them, we against the world, etc.
Someone on Facebook, an acclaimed law graduate was advocating to excuse Allen Onyema (air peace owner) from any investigation simply because he is a successful Igbo business man, that Igbo's should learn to protect their own just like Yorubers protect Tinubu.
This explains why money makes everything right in that part of the world, it doesn't matter if the rich man sell out his entire villagers, doesn't matter if you do drugs or steal public funds, just get the money (Ego mbute)
Nnamdi KANU speaks for majority of Igbo youths and his views represents their thoughts.
So why are you people also protecting and supporting corrupt politicians from ur region like tinubu?
Buhari only ended up making this guy very popular someone that has been looking for political relevance at all costs there is nothing too special about him.
Enzorazor: On Thursday, at a Federal High Court in Abuja, many naked women were seen protesting for the immediate release of Omoyele Sowore from DSS custody.
Sowore who has been granted bail by Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu of Federal High Court is yet to be freed even after reports have it that he had met bail conditions.
Sowore was arrested by the Department of State Services since August in Lagos for organizing a national protest tagged #RevolutionNow.
The women were seen removing their blouses and inner wears with just braziers left to drive home their demand to president Muhammadu Buhari.
According to the naked women, “Sowore is their son and they argued that he had not committed any crime and urged President Muhammadu Buhari to order his immediate release”.
The Publisher of Sahara Reporters and human Rights activist was expected in Court today.
odiks: Former Abia State Governor, Orji Kalu, who was sentenced to 12 years in prison for fraud, was seen asking prison warders, “where are you taking us to?” After his sentencing.
Kalu, who is the Senate Chief Whip also begged the prison warders not to handcuff him in public.
The former governor, who appeared shaken, said, “Where are you taking us to now? Please don’t handcuff me. I will follow you.”
Kalu’s associate, Udeogu, was sentenced to 10 years in prison while the company which was used in perpetrating the fraud, Slok Limited, was ordered to be wound up by Justice Idris Mohammed.
Kalu only ended up as a scape goat after all the lobbying he did after joining the apc. When will corrupt and wicked people like buhari, el rufai, tinubu etc also receive their own punishments after all the actrocities they committed against innocent Nigerians?
References: A former governor of Abia state, Orji Uzor Kalu, has been sentenced to 12 years in jail after he was found guilty of N7.65bn fraud.
The 12 year sentence is the highest among the 39 counts convicting the defendants, the lowest sentence being three years. Mr Kalu’s company, Slok Nigeria Ltd was ordered to be forfeited to the federal government.
The court found the second convict, his former commissioner of Finance Jonnes udeogo guilty of 34 counts.
Good lessons for efulefu igbo politicians they can never be able to pls the fulanis no matter how hard they tried. I knew something like this will happen when tinubu was recently praising kalu rochas is the next.

The Nigerian government has raised alarm concerning the stealing and replacing of clips, bolts and knots on the Lagos/Ibadan rail line.
Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation, Fidet Okhiria, said 5,000 clips and 10,000 bolts as well as knots had been replaced along the rail track.
Mr. Fidet said, “You can’t imagine that between Lagos and Ibadan, we have replaced over 5,000 clips and close to 10,000 bolts and nuts on the track and it is not a good thing at all.
“Without those things on the tracks, accidents can occur.
“We know the volume of passengers on a train. So vandalism of rail infrastructure has to stop.”
He added that government would still go ahead to extend the Lagos-Ibadan line to Kano in three years.
The Nigerian government has in the past 10 years sunk over 4 billion dollars in its railway sector with the hope of reviving and sustaining the sector.

Ctorch: $20m indictment: We stand with Onyema –South East Governors
The South East Governors Forum has come out in support of the Chairman of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, over his indictment by the United States Department of Justice for allegedly laundering $20 million.
A statement signed by Governors Ifeanyi Uguwanyi (Enugu), Willie Obiano (Anambra), Dave Umahi (Ebonyi), Emeka Ihedioha (Imo) and Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), said even though the forum cannot claim to have the full knowledge of the matter, there are some insinuations it will not accept.
The forum said the insinuation that some government officials are against Onyema and would want to pull him down is a ploy to instigate hatred against him as he is ‘at peace’ with the Federal Government and has on various occasions, commended President Muhammadu Buhari, for assisting him get up to five international licenses.
The governors urged Buhari to support and protect Onyema to enable him sort out the matter peacefully so that his business, which t has contributed to the growth of the aviation industry will not suffer. The statement reads: “We have read a lot of comments by various individuals and interest groups on the matter.
“The insinuation that some Nigerians or some government officials are against Onyema and would want to pull him down by all means is a ploy to instigate hatred against him. He has remained in the aviation industry which is highly challenging in our country when many people could not cope.
Onyema is at peace with the Federal Government and has on various occasions, commended the president for assisting him get up to five international licenses. Many officials of Buhari’s administration had stood for him many times in promoting and encouraging Air Peace operations in and outside Nigeria.
Air Peace is a business and most businesses usually have one issue or the other to settle and this one is not an exception. We plead with Buhari to please continue to give Onyema all the necessary support and protection to enable him sort out this matter peacefully.
Onyema has highly assisted the aviation industry in Nigeria and we must all stand to defend this business. The governors of the South East will do everything within the law to support Onyema overcome this issue so as to continue to offer more excellent services to Nigeria. We request the US Ambassador to Nigeria to please step into the matter so as to peacefully resolve the issue without destroying Onyema’s reputation. We also urge Onyema to engage experienced and external financial managers to work with the US government in resolving and rectifying his business tax matter if any.”
Onyema is accused by the US authorities for allegedly laundering over $20 million from Nigeria through United States bank accounts in a scheme involving false documents for the purchase of airplanes
Nice one from the SE governors onyema should be supported even if the US courts ends up finding him guilty at the end of the day. If the north and west can support people like buhari and tinubu despite all the actrocities they have committed why wouldn't the Igbos also support one of their own who is accused of just laundry his own personal money?
