Demzlent: Man insists Obasanjo is from Anambra and not Owu
A middle age man, Damilade Abdul Oladele, has insisted that the former head of State and President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo is a native of Onitsha in Anambra State, and not from Owu in Ogun State.
Damilade wrote on his Facebook page that the resemblance between the Igwe Onyejekwe of Onitsha, and the former President is too sticking.
Igwe Onyejekwe was reported to have lived in Owu in Ogun State, as a police officer around the time the former President was born.
According to Damilade, he wrote: "The resemblance is striking, Igwe Onyejekwe of Onitsha that ruled from 1962- 1970"
"He lived in Abeokuta for years before being recalled home to be made King"
"He also lived in Owu, at the time Olusegun Obasanjo (OBJ) was born, but Obasanjo has debunked that he was born by this late Igbo King of Onitsha"
"Obi Onyejekwe was a policeman in Owu in the early 1940's and Obasanjo's mother was a live-in concubine"
"Obasanjo refused DNA tests with Obi's kids"
"Where did Obasanjo comes from, Anambra or Owu in Ogun State?"
Apart from Damilade, another social media user John Okooboh also posited that it is indisputable that Obasanjo is from Anambra State.
John posted: "This is not contestable. Photographs don't lie. DNA or not, even a blind man can identify and confirm that the men we are seeing here is a natural re-procreation of the other"
"All circumstances, coincidences and dates are enough to support and authenticate this breaking story"
"Aside Damilola Abdul-Akeem Ololade's post here, a popular news magazine - THE NEWS had sometimes ago published a story that also featured and analyzed same topic and concluded in their final journalistic imvestigations that this General is of the lgbo extraction and not that of the Yoruba"
"The concerned has never come up to debunk it, best still sue the paper for slander or defermation or both in a court of competent jurisdiction for redress, considering the weighty social and damaging implications associated"
"The OWUS have even gone a step further by asking the General to show the people the grave of his late father where he was buried at Ow u or elsewhere"
"Alas mute is the loudest response from him"
"Refusing a DNA test is the final confirmation of the truth and there should no doubt that this man OBJ' s family name is ONYEJEKWE"
This controversy has been in the public for domain for some times.
The story resurfaced after Chief Obasanjo was quoted saying that Igbos are ahead of every other tribes in Nigeria, a statement that many read several meanings into. it is now left for the for the former President to clear the air over this matter.
http://news-af.feednews.com/news/detail/282beb629138777110a18d472a56df28?client=news Why can't obj just accept the DNA test challenge so as to put this rumours to rest once and for all? |

highbee02: Published December 31, 2019 Daud Olatunji, Abeokuta
The self-acclaimed pastor of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Solution Chapel, Ikoyi-Ile, Osun State, Segun Philips, said he was paid N210,000 to use the final year student of the Lagos State University, Favour Daley-Oladele for money rituals. His action was after Favour’s boyfriend, Owolabi Adeeko, had smashed her head with a pestle. The pastor confessed that he was the one, who slaughtered and removed the breasts, heart and other vital organs from Favour’s body. Philips disclosed this in an exclusive interview with PUNCH Metro at the police headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, on Monday. He stated that the organs were used to prepare a concoction for Owolabi and his mother. He, however, said the concoction was prepared with human parts without the knowledge of Owolabi’s mother. When asked if he slaughtered the victim, Philips said, “It is true; I slaughtered Favour with a knife. I was the one, who removed her heart, breasts and other vital organs, so that we could use them for rituals. “But, I was not the one, who smashed her head with a pestle. Owolabi did that.” He, however, exonerated Owolabi’s mother, saying they deceived her that they would do something different. Philips stated, “She was not aware that we used human parts for the concoction I gave her. “I prepared the concoction for her and her son because I was broke and I needed money. I demanded N250,000, but I was paid N210,000.
“I was called by God, but I think I have lost the calling because of what I did.”
The 23-year-old Owolabi reportedly connived with the 42-year-old self-acclaimed pastor to kill Favour. Owolabi, who was arrested by men of the Ogun State Police Command in Ikoyi-Ile, Osun State, was said to have confessed to the police that he sought Philips’ help for money rituals. The Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun State, Abimbola Oyeyemi, had said, “The deceased was reported to have left home to an unknown destination since December 8, 2019, and had not been seen since then, hence, she was reported missing by her parents at the Mowe Police Station.” Copyright PUNCH.

Kosiso12: JUST IN!!! “Ebonyi International Airport To Be Completed In Eighteen Months” – Gov. Umahi Assures(Photos)
Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State, yesterday, while receiving the people of Ezza Nation who came on Christmas Homage to him assured Ebonyians that the construction of the recently approved International Airport by the Federal Government in Ezza North, Ebonyi state will be completed in eighteen months.
Igbere TV reports that Umahi noted that the standard of the International Airport that is being built in Ebonyi takes between Six and 10 years to be completed but it will only take Eighteen Months for the Ebonyi State Airport to be completed.
“Building an international Airport is not an easy one. To build Airport project like the one we are building in Ebonyi State takes six to eight years or even ten years but Ebonyi International Airport will be completed in Eighteen Months,” Gov. Umahi said.
He continued, “the tarmac of the Ebonyi International Airport will be on One Foot Concrete Pavement which is the highest ever in the World.” “The highest I have known of is eight inches concrete base but this one will be a one foot concrete pavement which has been guaranteed to last for more than 50 years.”
He further innaugurated a committee that will ensure the smooth payment of compensation of crops and economic trees to owners in the affected communities.
Earlier, the Leader of the Group who doubles as the Secretary to Ebonyi State Government and Coordinating Commissioner, Kenneth Ugbala, PhD commended the Governor for inclusiveness of the people from Ezza Nation into key positions of his cabinet, his massive infrastructural development in Ezza Land and his choice of locating the Mega project of International Airport in Ezza Nation.

frankiekinase: A father identified as Ogar Ogbudu, has sprayed more than twenty seven (27) people with acid for allegedly bullying his Son (name withheld) in Yala local government area in Northern Cross River State.
PARADISE NEWS gathered that the incident occurred on Monday, December 30, 2019, at Ugaga Community in Yala local government area where some group of teenagers were having fun.
An eyewitness who gave his name as Omgbidu Savour told PARADISE NEWS that the fight broke between other teenagers and Ogbudu's son who later came with acid to spray on the other kids, leaving them ferociously injured.
Saviour said, "Some peers, 14 to 15 years of age went to Ugaga picnic and have an eyebrow with each other. After the picnic, one of the boy went home and equipped himself with weapons and charm, and on his way going to attack the other ones (the victims of the acid), they discovered he is with weapons and charm, so they started interrogating him.
"After they interrogated him, they decided to send somebody to his dad to come and see as well as hear what is going on. But the dad (Ogar Ogbudu) now came with acid in a container to spray everybody who gathered to resolve the situation and innocent people got burnt by the acid."
"They were more than 27 in numbers and were rushed to the General hospital in Igoli, Ogoja local government area of the state, same night. The perpetrator has been captured by the youths in the community and he'll be questioned before the elders - he has already been beaten with machetes too", Omgbidu said.
Efforts to reach the Police Public Relations Officer in Cross River State, DSP Irene Ugbo, proved abortive as her phone line was switched off as at the time of filing this report. Very horrible these guys are scarred for life. |

Tofax: We have paid some leaders for our settlements in the community — spokesperson
Anxiety enveloped Ajowa Akoko in Akoko North West council area of Ondo state last weekend over the occupation of the community by over 200 Fulani herdsmen.
The herdsmen reportedly invaded the community in a trailer and a truck from one of the Northern parts of the country.
But the spokesperson of the herdsmen said they have settled some leaders in the communities before they decided to settle down in Ajowa.
Ajowa Akoko communities have eight traditional rulers.
However, some irate youths mobilised in their hundreds and protested against a plan by the herdsmen to occupy their community without notice.
Recall that similar situation occurred recalled that about two years ago at Akunu and Auga Akoko in Akoko North-East council area of the state.
The timely intervention of traditional rulers in the communities led by the former chairman of the state council of Obaship, the olukare of Ikare Oba Saliu Akadiri Momoh doused the tension and nip in the bud the crisis that it would have generated.
Speaking with newsmen on the plan to occupy their community, the chairman Ajowa in council, the Oloso of Oso- Ajowa, Oba Clement Omoola Jimoh described the incident as embarrassing to the communities.
Oba Jimoh said ” To us, the coming to the community of such large herdsmen of over 200 at a time like this is an embarrassment to us in the communities.
” We have informed the authorities and we the traditional ruler’s monarch, the elders, and the security agencies have prevailed on our youths not to take laws into their hands.
Another traditional ruler in one of the affected communities, the Oluro of Uro Ajowa, Oba Tlmothy Ipinmoroti disclosed that Ajowa Akoko said the arrival of the herdsmen in the trailer and a truck was suspicious.
Oba lpinmoroti noted that the communities in Ajowa “remained one of the most hospitable communities in Yorubaland but the way these herdsmen came signaled suspicion and called for caution. We are suspicious of their intentions.
Also speaking on the development, the Chairman of Ajowa Akoko Community Hon Bakare Ajayi expressed fear over the occupation of the herdsmen.
Ajayi pointed out that the “Ajowa community which is a gateway town needs a lot of consciousness.
According to him ” our people have been battling with few herdsmen in their farms who usually use their cows to vandalise their crops. That’s not all we have also faced with security challenges such as kidnapping in this axis.
He noted that ” our people needed to be security conscious as they saw in their luggage’s dangerous weapons such as axes, sharp cutlasses, and swords.
However, the spokesperson of the herdsmen who identified himself as Issa Ahmed that some important indigenes in the communities collected money from them before the decision to come for settlement in the communities.
Ahmed said they wouldn’t have come in the large number if there was no previous agreement with some personalities in the communities.
Contacted, the Area Commander for Ikare Akoko, Razak Rauf confirmed the development but allayed the fear and anxieties of the people.
Rauf said police detectives have swung into action and the matter was under investigation.
As at the time of filling in this report, soldiers at the Ajowa Military checkpoint are keeping watch over the herdsmen and have not allowed them into the communities.

Afro3: Still Stuck In Dubai, Tonto Dikeh Faces Custody Palaver As Ex Hubby Threatens Court Action Over Neglect of Son In Abuja
Indeed, it’s a tough time for Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh.
If only she hadn’t gone to Dubai! The actress, who is becoming calmer on social media lately, is definitely not having it as rosy as she tries very hard to portray on Instagram. Now with the return of her ‘best friend’, Idris Okuneye aka Bobrisky, to Nigeria a few days ago, its obvious the hyper active actress is stuck in Dubai.
Arrested and detained in a Dubai prison five weeks ago when she was supposed to have attended the One Africa Music Fest and BamTeddy wedding, Tonto Dikeh was also charged to court but was later rescued from deportation/imprisonment by paying a fine. Meanwhile, prior to the payment of fine in a Dubai court, Tonto who was granted bail, could not travel to Nigeria because her passport was seized and she had to report daily to the police in Dubai.
But the concern now is her son, King Andre. The four-year-old son, a product of her marriage to businessman, Olakunle Churchill, not only lacked motherly care, King Andre is with a nanny that even his father cannot access.
“Tonto, who has the custody of the innocent boy, has stopped his father from seeing him and the estranged couple has been in court over the child’s custody since 2017,” a source revealed exclusively to Kemi Ashefon.
“She has changed the child’s name from King Andre Igo Oladunni Churchill to her maiden name, Dikeh. That is an abnominable act! He is the father, he foots the bill and you now changed his son’s name to your father’s name. The father, who has been giving a monthly allowance of N200,000 and paying school fees has been denied access to the boy despite court order.” Though Tonto claimed the bride price was paid with her money, there have been several denials from the ex husband, who claimed he paid the dowry with his money and even got a refund from her family in Port-Harcourt when she packed out of his house and refused to be his wife again.
Confusion lingers as Tonto stays back in Dubai to clear her name in the court and get her passport back.
Her passport back?
“Yes, the current passport is with the Dubai police. Tonto Dikeh still has an ongoing case in court and would not return to Nigeria for sometimes. The passport she showed off on Instagram to spite blogger, Stella Dimoko-Korkus, who broke the story of her arrest, was her old passport.
Now that she has been in Dubai for over five weeks and the innocent boy left with a nanny in Abuja, what should her family and that of her ex hubby do?”
“Even if the father wants to take the child to her in Dubai, where is the child’s passport? Already, it has been deposited in a bank agreed on by the couple as instructed by the court. He can’t even withdraw it alone!,” sources said.
Tonto, who has tried to liven up herself in Dubai, is an old image of herself. She not only has lost weight, she was complaining in an Instastory that she wants her fats back. She wrote that she is losing weight.
Now trying to be part of a female football group in Dubai, with the help of her current male friend over there, its obvious Tonto is stuck in that country!
“She caused it. Tonto is too temperamental whenever she is high. The concern now is how to get her son from that nanny in Abuja because she could run short of money and food for herself and King Andre. What if she runs away and leaves the boy alone?” sources said. Kemiashefonlovehaven gathered exclusively that Tonto’s ex husband, Churchill is heading for the court again.
“Churchill is going back to court over the custody of the child since Tonto is stuck in Dubai. He is angry that she has been taking money for the son’s upkeep and refused to comply with the court rules and order. In fact, he has taken another step and decided to open a trust fund account for his son. This way, the money would be judiciously spent on the child,” source said.
https://www.theelitesng.com/still-stuck-in-dubai-morning-tonto-dikeh-faces-custody-palaver-as-ex-hubby-threatens-court-action-over-neglect-of-son-in-abuja/ This is the negative sides of marrying a Nigerian actress or celebrity almost all of them can't keep their marriages they are just too worldly to know exactly what marriage is all about. |

Video footage showed the gunman stand up from a pew and speak to a man nearby, who gestured at another parishioner. The gunman then fired at the man he gestured toward.
The gunman fired again, at the man he had spoken to, before a member of the congregation returned fire with a handgun, immediately felling the attacker. Several other parishioners also produced handguns and trained them on the attacker. It was not clear from the video footage whether any of the other armed parishioners fired shots.
The shooting happened during the morning service at West Freeway Church of Christ US sees highest number of mass killings on record Members of the congregation in the nearly full church ducked down behind pews as screaming filled the room.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott called the shooting "an evil act of violence".
"Places of worship are meant to be sacred, and I am grateful for the church members who acted quickly to take down the shooter and help prevent further loss of life," he said in a statement.

Politics › Re: Opinion Poll Shows Overwhelming Igbo Majority Wants Biafra by Mrexcell(m): 2:38pm On Dec 30, 2019 |
SamEdozieJM: Global Igbo Alliance (GIA), a conglomerate of Igbo associations around the world has released the result of the opinion poll it conducted among the Igbo to ascertain what the ethnic nationality want following the political situation and recent ugly developments in Nigeria.
Recently, the spate of agitations for restructuring of the country has assumed a frightening dimension, with the Igbo calling for self-determination, while others are calling for regional autonomous government.
According to the opinion poll/ survey recently organised by an Australian-based research firm, Bizopt Solutions, on behalf of Global Igbo Alliance, the outcome of the poll showed that 80.45 percent of the participants were angling for Biafran Republic.
A statement signed by the president of GIA, Dr. Christian Duru and the General Secretary, Prisca Chinwe Ebo stated that participants, drawn from 36 states of the federation plus the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, were asked to choose if they wanted a republic of Biafra, a regional autonomous government, modelled after the 1963 constitution or if they wanted to remain in one united Nigeria as it is today. According to the report, the percentage participations of the states are detailed as follows:
Abia State recorded eight percent participation, Adamawa State – 0.08 percent, Akwa Ibom State – 2.97 percent, Anambra State – 11.72 percent, Bauchi State – 0.25 percent, Bayelsa State- – 3.05 percent, Benue State – 6.68 percent, Borno State – 0.08 percent, Cross River State – 3.63 percent, Delta State – 5.61 percent, Ebonyi State – 7,51 percent, Edo State – 1.40 percent, Ekiti State – 0.083 percent, Enugu State – 10.40 percent, FCT Abuja – 4.79 percent, Gombe – 1.16 percent, Imo State – 18.23 percent, Jigawa State – 0.33 percent, Kaduna State – 0.41 percent, Kano State – 0.74 percent and Katsina state with 0.25 percent participation. Others are Kwara State with 0.41 percent participation, Kogi State – 0.25 percent, Kebbi State – 0.30 percent, Lagos State – 3.80 percent, Nasarawa State – 0.15 percent, Ogun State – 0.33 percent, Ondo State – 0.33 percent, Oyo State – 0.25 percent, Plateau State – 0.33 percent, Rivers State – 4.87 percent, Sokoto State – 0.15 percent, Taraba State – 0.15 percent, Yobe State – 0.25 percent and Zamfara State with 0.15 percent participation.
The report revealed that over 80.45 percent of the Igbo indicated that they want Biafra; 17.99 percent indicated their preference for regional autonomous government, modelled after the 1963 constitution, while the remaining 1.57 percent wants to remain in Nigeria as it is today.
GIA said even though, the survey was meant for the Igbo; over 8.50 percent non-Igbo participated in the process, with over 94. 22 percent of the respondents, falling into the age bracket of 18 and above. The survey result found a very strong support for Biafra identified mainly in the southern state. The group noted that the survey, which was the first of its kind, demonstrated preference for Biafra as the first choice for the Igbo people. “It clarifies what the Igbo want. This is the first time a statistical evidence is presented, indicating that a wide majority of the Igbo people want Biafra,” GIA submitted.
The survey results also found that those who want regional autonomous government came a distant second with 17.99 percent, whereas those who want Nigeria as presently constituted came last with a skimpy 1.57 percent; a clear indication that nobody wants to be in Nigeria with its current structure. Following the outcome of the survey, GIA is calling on the All Progressives Congress-led Federal Government and its relevant agencies and stakeholders to listen to the voice of the people, and respect their will. “If after 100 years of co-existence, the various components that make up Nigeria still find it impossible to co-exist without violence, then the structure calls for a review. The religious intolerance, unwarranted killings of innocent citizens by the Nigerian military and Fulani herdsmen, the in-depth corruption in Nigeria and the ill-treatments and marginalization of the Igbo and others in Nigeria has given rise to the fear, faithlessness, anger and agitations in the land, which necessitated the opinion poll. Something needs to be done now and urgently,” the group stated. The group went further to say that “the present Nigerian government should do the needful by starting the process of consultation with the various tribes and parts of Nigeria to discuss how they wish to continue in the Nigerian project. There is no gain saying that Nigeria is in crisis and has hopelessly remained unworkable for so long. The earlier we accept these facts and opt for a change of the current structure through self-determination or regional autonomy for the component parts, the better for all and sundry. The current Nigerian government knows that to continue to live in denial about Nigeria is not only deceitful and counter-productive but also very dangerous. “A responsible and ingenious government does not ignore the will of her people. Any leader, be it in government or any other human endeavour that altruistically claims a role in emancipation of mankind, cannot afford to ignore the will of the people.” https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/03/opinion-poll-shows-overwhelming-igbo-majority-wants-biafra/amp/ This has always been the position of majority of igbos since after the Nigerian/Biafran war that's the reason the core north don't want any kind of referudum in Nigeria. |

fergie001: https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/updated-one-killed-as-police-arrest-banker-others-in-failed-abuja-bank-robbery.html Thank God no innocent person was hurt some times bank robberies always have an insider who gives out information to the robbers I was at a uba branch on the 23th of Dec. when I saw a man wailing and telling one of the bank attendants how he just got robbed of #80k by some men with ak47 immediately after he left the bank premises. I then asked him if any one knew he was coming to the bank but he said he didn't inform anyone that he was going to the bank I now concluded that it must be the bank cashier that knew about the withdrawal that informed the robbers. I just pitied the man who said the #80k was all he had in his account. People really have to be extremely careful when making withdrawals these days from banks especially when withdrawing directly from the bank cashiers. |
Politics › Re: Revocation Of Late Saraki’s Land: ‘Abdulrasaq Has Crossed The Line’ - Saraki by Mrexcell(m): 11:42pm On Dec 28, 2019 |
Maxymilliano: December 28, 2019
PRESS STATEMENT
Revocation of Late Saraki’s Land: ‘Abdulrasaq Has Crossed the Line’
Former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has stated that Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has crossed the line of decency with his recent efforts to erase the legacies of his (Saraki’s) late father, Dr. Abubakar Olusola Saraki.
Saraki, in a statement he personally signed and released in Lagos today, stated that the war of attrition waged against the legacy of his father and everything that belongs to the late politician simply portrayed the Governor as a man who lacks the sense of history and set out only to fight the Saraki family but not to serve the interest of Kwarans.
“Yesterday night, the Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq finally showed his true colour when he announced his decision to revoke the ownership of a property rightfully held by my late father, Dr. Olusola Abubakar Saraki on Plots 1, 3 and 5 Ilofa Road, GRA, Ilorin popularly known as Ile Arugbo, (Old People’s home) which since the Second Republic, has always been used to host the weekly gathering of a multitude of aged people in the society who are provided food, money and health services, as part of the social welfare programme sponsored by the late politician. The tradition has since been maintained.
“Before now, this same Governor had invited all the members of the State House of Assembly and directed them to commence the process of amending the law to change the name of the State University which the last administration renamed after my late father, Dr. Abubakar Olusola Saraki. He then followed up on this act of vengeance by initiating a bill to rename the University and expunge the name of the late Dr. Abubakar Olusola Saraki. Now, he has decided to also revoke the titles of the landed property which belongs to the late politician. May be, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq thinks his will be the last administration in Kwara State but definitely, this is self delusion.
“The property had been rightfully allocated to my late father under the name of one of his companies, Asa Investment Limited, since the 1980s and contrary to the claim of the Governor, the land was properly allocated and a Right of Occupancy title issued on it. It should be noted that the excuse given by Abdulrazaq in his revocation order holds no water since it is clear that this is the height of his vengeance against my father, Dr. Abubakar Olusola Saraki and I.
“Till today, many Kwarans have been wondering what problem the Governor has with the late Oloye Abubakar Olusola Saraki or what the late politician did to offend him. It is surprising that of all vacant plots of land in strategic places across Ilorin township, the one that Abdulrahman found useful for his vengeful plan is the one owned by late Dr. Saraki. It is beyond comprehension why a Governor would set as his main agenda the objective of undermining and waging a war of attrition against a man who is no longer around.
“This action is clearly a manifestation of vengeance and it shows that this Governor is not out to serve any public purpose or pursue any development agenda. In his narrow-mindedness, he believes his victory at the polls is an empowerment, entitlement and enablement to settle scores, provoke and pursue inter-family rivalry. Those who voted for the party in power in Kwara State and Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq obviously did not vote for the man to enable him wage war against Dr. Olusola Saraki and his legacies. They expected development and fulfillment of promises.
“If the Governor believes people are not taking stock of his misguided and deceptive actions and that because he is in power, he could do whatever he likes, he must be a joker. Also, this war against the Sarakis will not successfully veil his unpreparedness for governance and divert people’s attention from the glaring lack of visionary, clear-cut plan to deliver on his empty promises to the people. He definitely cannot get away with all the atrocities he has been committing.
“Since the outcome of the elections in March, despite the fact that there are clear grounds to challenge the results in court, I have decided to demonstrate maturity, statemanship and sportsmanship. I have chosen not to make comment on the policies, programmes and actions of the administration in Kwara State or that of its head. Also, I deliberately stayed away from the State to avoid creating any distraction for the administration. My decision is borne out of a genuine restraint to enable the administration settle down and fulfill its numerous promises to the people of our state.
“However, seven months down the line, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has shown that its cardinal Programme is to wage war against my late father and I. He has demonstrated that his only competence and astuteness is in the area of viciously assailing the late Oloye Saraki and I. Definitely, he is a man with no sense of history. Enough is enough. Now, he has crossed the line.
“Perhaps, I should let it be known that if Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq thinks he is taking all these actions to get at me, he is only deceiving himself. There is no basis for competition between us. Our paths cannot cross because the status that he is struggling to attain, Almighty Allah has given it to me many years before now. I became Governor 16 years before him and served out my constitutional limit of eight years. Within the period, I was Chairman of Nigerian Governors Forum. I have moved on to serve in the federal legislature and by the grace of God, I headed the National Assembly as the number three man in the country. No matter, how well he tried to rewrite history, it is on record that I left Kwara State a lot better than I met it. In fact, the University that he is struggling to rename was established by my administration as just one out of many legacies we left behind. This Governor needs a lot more efforts, years, Intelligence and resources to attain the level Allah has taken me, not to talk of my late father, Dr. Olusola Abubakar Saraki, the Senate Leader in the Second Republic. As Governor, I used the position to serve the people and during the period I did not dishonour his own father or anybody’s father for that matter.
“Just as I did after the election, my advise to Gov. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq that he should devote his time and energy to providing good governance and genuine development of the state.
“It is well known to the Governor that I fear nobody, except Almighty Allah, the ultimate owner of all powers. With all his subterranean and open moves against my family, person and property, I remain unmoved. However, his open antagonism against my late father and his legacies is unwarranted and will not be tolerated. He has definitely gone beyond bounds as he cannot be allowed to ride roughshod on the deceased. In this war against my late father, he will not win.
“This Governor has shown that he is not a man who wants peace, co-operation and development. He believes that a constant attack on my family and I is all that he needs to win the hearts of Kwara people. The need to provide good governance is secondary to him.
“However, it should be made clear to Abdulrazaq and his administration that their attack on my late father cannot erase the legacies of Oloye. No evil design, negative plot or propaganda can successfully rewrite the history of Kwara State. This plot against my late father will not stand. And I will like to make it clear that we will contest this petty, malicious, dubious and bias action of a parochial, vicious and vindictive administration through all legal means. We are sure this is not an action taken in public interest. Rather, it is done in pursuit of a selfish and devious objective”, Saraki stated.
Signed
Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, CON

South easterners we are here oh. Previously before Insurgency Igbos were in multitudes here. There is an area back then here in Maiduguri that even non-igbos can speak Igbo fluently because of the population of Igbos residing there. I respect ur courage to still live in that bokoharam infested territory. I will be the last person to ever visit or live there with all the stories I have read no amount of money or business dealings will ever make me visit or reside there. |

Too bad.
One of my kinsman was amongst those abducted. A very nice man who sells hair attachment at Monday market here in Maiduguri.
May God give his family the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
But Buhari why can't you sack all your service chiefs including security Advisers.
Funnily enough some of these service chiefs and security advisers are from Borno and most of them can never visit their villages
Buhari ISWAP controls several LGAs here in Borno oooooooh. Creating a military base in the headquaters of a Local government does not mean the military controls that LGA, there are several villages in that LGA where ISWAP are breeding. ISWAP dont sleep in the open or under the trees ooooh.
I work in Monguno my President and just 3kilometers outskirts of this town towards Marte LGA is a death sentence. Should i mention Kukawa and Cross? Should i mention the Headquarters Gudzamala LGA? I dont want to even mention Baga, Doron Baga and even the Dreaded Doron naira Island.
My President do something
So people from the SS/SE are still living and doing business in borno with all the bad news coming from there? |
