Katsumoto: Others will accept when you provide them with actual results. That you rely on unsubstantiated stories does not mean that others have to be so gullible and silly. I have given you a breakdown of the election results . Please provide yours. ![]() you gave yourself the breakdown not me or any reasonable person, ve told you to stop tossing these junk articles on everythread. If you want to get the real facts, you will (thats if you dont already), until then keep wallowing in self deceit. |
Katsumoto: Besides, if the reason why Zik didn't become the premier of the Western region was because of cross-carpeting what was the reason for Zik replacing Eyo Ita (Efik-Ibibio) as premier? Does it make sense to accuse a westerner of tribalism only to do an about turn and do the same thing to a fellow easterner? How many Efik/Ibibio do you see creating threads lamenting Eyo Ita's removal for Zik? Not everyone is a whiner.its obvious you jumped into the thread without reading the leading article. I dont support Zik. He looked a selfish lot and he was one of the backers of the balderdash called one Niggeria but I wouldnt blame him for the Eyo Ita situation. He was obviously frustrated from the betrayal of awolowo and yorubas that he returned and started 'to your tenth oh isreal movement' as is supported by this thread article. Awolowo's tribalism was the precurssor. We have accepted the Eyo Ita situation, when will you self deceiters accept awolowos betrayal and tribalism. |
^ stfu dumbass, everyone is developing, does it include southwest nigeria? big fool |
Katsumoto: So what someone summarized in an article is now factI dont know what could be as clownish as asking for names of those that crossed carpeted over to AG. lol. The question is was there any cross-carpeting and why, how did that word become dominant in Nigerian politicians. You guys should stop shifting the goal post. |
You people with your warped media can continue providing articles from your anus and hoping everybody is a dummy that will believe the crap you put up. If some igbos have been made gullible by your media then its time up. I have searched the whole internet and am yet to find the official election result, if you have the official result, furnish me with it, not some cooked fast food junk articles from your fraudulent media. Awolowo was cruel and that's putting it mildly. Rubbish |
Like someone simply summarized on an article. Here were the events. what went down in that election > First get your facts straight. Zik did not lose the 1952 elections in the west.NCNC won the elections and after that Awo cried egbe omo and the yoruba menbers of NCNC defected(referred then as cross carpet) to AG with the exception of lagos NCNC members and adegoke adelabu(honored in Enugu with Adelabu street in Uwani). Zik then went back east and Prof. Eyo Ita(leader of NCNC in eastern region) was asked to step down for zik and was made secretary to the eastern region govt.Dr. M.I. Okpara replaced zik as premier of Eastern region after the 1959 elections. Okpara later led UPGA an alliance between NCNC and Factions of Action Group led by Awo(even though awo was in prison at this time). And people always forget that NCNC was formed by the yorubas in lagos. Zik made an error we are all paying for today by making an alliance with NPC ledby Ahmadu bello and not balewa(who was deputy to Ahmadu bello). the only reason balewa became prime minister was because Ahmadu bello hated lagos and also wnted to be close to sokoto to keep an eye on the sultanship of sokoto as grandson of othman dan fodio. |
YOU ARE NOT ANY CONQUEROR, ENOUGH WITH THIS BULLCRAP. ADDRESS THE QUESTION, WERE YOU CAUGHT WITH ANY MONEY? YES OR NO. ME I GO WITH YES. |
adamscuti: u are such a clown and may God save ur soul, majority of the crimes committed in 9ja is done by d igbos,419,robbery and kidnapping, even if d republic of biafra is created ,wish i strongly doubt,i bet u they wil have even more problems than 9ja. So Mrs. Reason b4 u post trash here. REPUBLIC OF BIAFRA MY ASZ.I see you have been drowned by the cheap propaganda news coming from the Yoruba media. You want me to provide you with names and events? dont derail this thread for your own good. worry about yourself, get better education fool, leave biafra alone, |
Kslib: Who da Bleep even wants to have a wasted, rotten, expired sp*erm like you as a citizen of this country.. Fu*cck off, nobody even knows a fucktardingly cretinous zimbabwean monkey like you exists somewhere... When people dey talk, retarded goons like dis slowpoke go dey bring wetin go cause trouble..rubbish..you are an idddiot, what is wrong with her stating she is biafran? Do you have a problem with that? Take this your iiiidiotic rant and shove it down your azz fool. |
Degis: Isn't it obvious that your pedigree is suspect?. Your Educational qualifications and your thinking ability is so warped that replying you with proves is a waste of scare resources. Dispute the facts as enunciated above before you run away to your laboratory of lies to churn out another hideous lie. Awolowo will forever remain the conqueror of the Igbos. Get a lifeYou should worry about of your fake free education and the barage of lies you people always sell to us (especially through your media) and expect us to swallow in a bid exonorate an indicted awolowo. It is a known fact zik won the election, its a known fact awolowo was disgraced in his backyard and he moved quickly to whoop up tribal sentiments (the begining of such in Nigeria) among his kin that led to their cross capeting to AG. Why did zik return to the east, was it because he was was clearly beaten in the election or was not after sensing the betrayal of awolowo that he came back to replicate such. Am tired of all this your deliberate twisting of facts, I see how your brother above brought diffrent and unrelated events to answer my questions. Rubbish. |
Billyonaire: Got to go to bed fellas. This song is my lullaby for the night. Someone should hold forte for me, if haterz come attacking this great remix.you have always been known to be a fraud. A poor, rich wannabe. Always acting like he has all the money in the world. keep pretending you have the world in your bank account. Its a good path you are taking though, dreaming for sucess. I wish you success in the real sense of it |
50calibre: Akon must be really struggling to pick up the pieces of his shattered career. He now features in noises these people call music.my brother you said it all, for the fact that your post got more likes than any other here justifies you. you dont have to explain to these dumbasses. Nigerians are just too poverty stricken to know good music thats why they praise these noisemakers and still wonder why nobody is taking the noise of a music seriously overseas. Pardon Akon, his career is dead in the states, he cant even sell records, his album has been perpertually ob hold, thats why he is trying to consolidate on his African fans. He wouldnt have cared if he was still hot. |
whitecat007: The annual Ojude Oba festival that was held on the 28th of this month. Believe me Nottinghill carnival has nothing on it. ![]() I laugh in Ojude Oba |
^ Always beating around the bush, its only a dull person that will allow himself to be used by yarobas. Everyone knows you lots and how deceptive can be, now. we are all wise now. trying to support awoo is a futile attempt. Was there any form of cross carpeting is a simple and open question. If you want me to give you their names will you also give me the names of all the people that cross carpeted from the opposition party to the ruling party in your state during the last election, if you cant, does it mean there was no 'cross carpeting'? |
whitecat007: I repeat, you ibos do NOT have oil in your land, you are counting on other minority ethnic groups for their oil, reason you continue to align with SS.you are a fool. how would you know when all you parasites know is consumption. When the oils are withdrawn that is when hunger will make you and your kin to know the oil producing states in Nigeria. bunch of ungrateful nothing having parasites. |
dzak: wel tel me u attended advard, university nayou just confirmed your illiteracy. Every beneficiary of the awolowo scam free education must be re educated no wonder there is so much rot in the system. |
Well am satisfied with this authors account of the events, its everything I needed and (an unbiased person would too) to know zik won. If you need more information to soothe your belief, you can contact him to explain further, I think his email is listed. Better still you can contact your elders who were around at the time. Ask them how the election went, and who won initially, also more importantly, were there any form of defection from NCNC to AG within that period, if yes, for what reasons exactly? |
I guess when your career falls apart, that is the time to consolidate on African fans. Like wyclef, like Keri baby, Like Akon. lmao. scam |
smh, what a disgrace. Who even asked them the question. I remember people saying they were from badagry. lmao. Its just the poverty in Nigeria, rather than creating your own to a standard level, you wish every successful black mab is nigerian. |
@Katsumoto maybe you dont get the point, you can even provide me a link of the events of the time written by the owners of Google themselves who were not on ground during the events but you cant give what you dont have, those wait and take histories were products of research sourced from the Awolowo controlled fraudulent Yoruba media at the time. we are wise now. Those books need revision. |
T9ksy: Am a proud and unapologetic awoist and i say as you wish for me so shall it be on you and your future generations.'unapologist awoist' would amount to hypocrisy if you dont worship his skeletons also. Well young man, I dont have blood in my hands and dont support bloodshed so am enjoying my Jesus peace. its people like you that support a mass murderer that should always say their last prays before going to bed. |
These oduduwa almajiris have infiltrated this thread with their balderdash as they always do with every sensible thread. someone said I dumped the thread, well I have a robust life outside nairaland. I guess its reaching for me to thrust you guys with a mature, truthful article to debate. For the record am sick and tired of always having to say, I dont believe Yoruba history, I dont believe junk copy and past articles without any credible source and you katsumoto and many of your kind have made it a habit of throwing these 'emergency articles' to support you partisan claims. You must be related to baba suwe to think I will acknowledge this tissue of lies of Yoruba history, about the civil war inspired by awolowo. obviously the writer was right saying awolowo supporters are senseless because how can you expect me to read his sensible unbiased account and explanation of the electoral outcome and believe your fast food junk articles. If other igbos on nairaland engaged you unsuccessfully with that, I dont have that patience, you can shove that result and explanation down your azz. The author probably was around at the time and told you zik won, go and ask your elders, stop with this trying to look smart. |

![]() That is very obvious, he came to steal, kill and destroy. |
ACN rigirigi ![]() |
^ its quite clear you underestimate the powers of governors within their enclave, maybe because the sack came through concessions and not the house of assembly as is always the case. |
^ The vulture has showed up again. If you truly love awolowo like this, why not drin rat poison yourself. Its the fastest way to meet him where he is, I understand he loves you too. my suggestion. |
