mujibson: Well I asked because I've seen the way you and some persons here have been making some grounds and predictions to draw or reach a conclusion that the seplat shortlisting is biased or something.
I'm an OYO state student who study CIVIL ENGINEERING in ABU and I'm shortlisted. So forget all those delta, medical, southern Universities assumptions. It's not true. I think the shortlisting is just by LUCK since no documents were required during the process of registration. Yea ..you are right. Those where simply assumptions. I'm well aware that it may be false |

KrazyDave16: Keeping secrets (if sorting is involved) if you trust the person but the copy verbatim part, you'll have to if you wanna pass some courses. No sorting in my dept though. Some courses are just so hard to pass. Even If you ask top students they'll never tell you. Some of them are even surprised that you are able to tell their results from the notice board with their matric numbers only displayed |

KrazyDave16: Better stick to that promise you made yourself.
And most importantly, of lecturers say you should answer "yes" in exam, don't answer "yeah" even if it means the same.
And depending on your lecturer, keep any new knowledge to yourself until after you grad or don't offer his/her course (found out the hard way). So you mean we should always keep any secret information about passing courses to ourselves and we should copy verbatim what is in the handouts |

If you want to build web apps, start with HTML,CSS then learn JavaScript.
Also learn a backend tech stack like MERN or MEVN or LAMP. You can Google backend stacks and databases. Be ready to rack your brains |

Xandre: I actually misread the mail sent.
The test is only for three days.
23rd-25th.
Mail came yesterday and twas stated that Test must be done within one week of receipt of the mail.
Twas also stated that the test link would be opened on 23rd.
I hope you understand? And for the shortlisting stuff,I don't really know if there would be another or if it's a batch thing. I just hope it's in batches...I'm yet to receive my own shortlist email |

It's a week-long So others can still be writing exams and others would keep being shortlisted. Or could it be that the shortlisting process ends on 23rd |

Karleb: I don't really get it.
Ask them why they hate PHP and they don't have a genuine reason.
A true developer never hate any language. If tomorrow I will need to learn Matlab to add value (make money), I will!
I've been hearing PHP is dead since I can remember but PHP 8 is coming before year end.
Many developer like to live in a perceived future while neglecting what is going on now.
Na them sabi o.
You see that PHP and MYSQL, it is a devine marriage made from above, nothing can ever separate them. Well I guess one has to just learn PHP and mySQL too. What's the use of being broke. I still don't get why it is not recommended to be learned at this time |
