tensazangetsu20: The only way to make money with the MERN stack is to get a job or build your own startup. Startups are hard and there's a 95 percent chance of failure. If one needs a team of developers to build an idea, to me they have already failed. This WordPress, Shopify and Magento stuff is something a developer can use few hours of their time to build and they are already part of an ecosystem. Imagine building a useful wordpress plugin with a freemium model. Plugin has like 10000 downloads and you even start charging 5 dollars a month for advanced features and like 1000 people pay. That's 5000 USD a month from one plugin. WordPress advertises your plugins. You don't need SEO, you don't need a whole development team, you don't need frontend or backend or UI and UX designers and all of that to do a plugin. The koko is the knowledge to even learn to build and develop a useful plugin in hidden from the public. Not much videos and courses so you need to read your eyes out and ask questions out there. You are right bro. But even though there's a 95% chance of failure one needs to try. That others tried and failed doesn't mean one should give up. Hanging on to obsolete technology isn't the way. The MERN or MEVN is overtaking the likes of WordPress and PHP. It'll take time though. Unless one is only after the money. It's no use devoting time to learning the likes of PHP or WordPress (You're not even considered a developer sef) |

jaycpu: is there any cheap way to host these stacks? I mean u can get a cheap server for php sites to host at relatively cheap price. any availability for the MERN stack Yea...a site know as whogohost actually hosts node.js apps cheaply. Also heroku is a free hosting service |

True talk...I asked a top udemy instructor on whether he would teach PHP and he said no and never.
The best bet is to come up with a good idea and use tech stacks like MERN or MEVN to complete it and earn your money. |

KennyWest3: Says who? Results is pasted to be seen. That is why Schools try their best to hide names of students by cutting it off. You still don't get my point. Even if there are no names, another student can see your results provided he knows your matric number |
Education › Re: Pasting Of Students Result On Public Board by MrJavaS: 3:03pm On Oct 10, 2020 |
KennyWest3: Wetin bad there if they paste results on notice board?
According to my school, it is pasted so that students who notices any error(like missing results) or has complaints to make concerning the result( like shortchanged score) can lodge their complaints before it's being uploaded online.
once it's uploaded online, it's over and can't be reversed! It's because they don't want other students to see another students results. They believe results is a personal thing that shouldn't be seen by anyone. Even if there's no names ...clever students can still see another person's result |

If e pain you too much, go back to school and graduate with first class.
First class yenyenyen. He wanted a first class but never had it. So he keeps hating first class graduates and downplays their accomplishments to feel better about himself. First class students make some students with lower grades insecure about themselves. Envy makes them to keep finding grounds to criticize first class students |

udemzyudex: The fact that you connect the external keyboard doesn't mean the keyboard that is giving you issue is not connected to the laptop.
To confirm if it's other issue, remove the keyboard and use only your external keyboard. I removed the keyboard and used the external and the problem stopped. It was keyboard all along |
Computers › Re: Windows 10 Problems And Solutions (official Microsoft Windows 10 links added) by MrJavaS: 11:01pm On Sep 28, 2020 |
Greatzeus: If you formatted your Pc and the problem persists,it means it's not software (Windows O.S) problem. It should be hardware problem. When you format or reinstall Windows, what you did was to wipe the entire windows files and any software files on your PC. After reinstallation,a new windows is in place. So any windows problem or software issues in the previous Windows installation will be gone. But hardware issues cannot be solved with formatting or reinstallation,it needs physical repairs or replacement eg broken screen, bad speakers, bad keyboards, bad Usb ports, bad battery etc. What's the solution? : I would have suggested it's software issue, but since you said you already formatted and it persists,go and change the keyboard of the laptop. I would attempt to change the keyboard. But don't you think it's probably another issue. Because I did connect an external keyboard and the problem persisted |

Guys some of my system keys weren't pressing and the CTRL key presses automatically. Also the cursor that highlights a particular folder on the pc matches multiple folders at a time even if I move away from the folder.
I connected an external keyboard and the problem still persisted. I've used windows defender, Malwarebytes premium to check the pc. Still no avail. I did a factory reset (without losing files) and the problem remained the same. I did a full reset (lost all my files) but still the problem persisted....what do I do please? cc: udemzyudex computerboy greatzeus

tensazangetsu20: Bro I followed the hype with nodejs especially from that HNG internship that everyone insisted on nodejs. Omho I would check freelancing sites and I would be seeing like 600 nodejs jobs and like 12000 PHP jobs. Like 12000 WordPress jobs. Like 12000 Drupal and co and all of them jobs. And it's not jobs of installing themes O. Advanced jobs like editing plugins to produce specific functionality building out new features and all of that. Omho I got frustrated and dropped nodejs for PHP. I felt since node is JavaScript I can pick up nodejs anytime I need it without much hassle. You are right here. But don't you think it's good to learn both? Node.js would probably outshine PHP very soon |
Programming › Re: Should I Learn Php Or Node Js ? I'm Confused. by MrJavaS: 9:50am On Sep 24, 2020 |
tensazangetsu20 is kinda right. Every programmer needs money of course. I personally don't like PHP and so I learnt node js very well. But I wish I learnt PHP. PHP is an old an outdated multithreaded language but still powers a lot of websites in the internet. PHP has more jobs so go for it |
