My mental health is at stake and I dont know if there is anyone in this kind of situation.. I have no perfect words to describe my mom. Always have issues with my dad and the rest of my siblings, She speaks without regards to one's age or how you feel, there are times I cant control my anger and we exchange words.. Am in my late 20's, from a muslim home, yet to be married but in a serious relationship now, my mom clearly hates the guy am seeing just because he is married and a secondorian, a business man whom I know is a good man and can cater for the family. She use bad words like that illiterate, a ghanian and old man, someone who is in his 40's. I have told her severally, am not getting younger, living with you alone is hell for me. Why then do you hate someone who loves your daughter, I dont know how I survive the corona period, because she made my life unbearable, until I got a job, yet she still troubles me. How do you stand a mom that wishes your blessings go to your other siblings, she tells you to your face. She wished my elder sister was the one who got this job because she would hv given her more, and I told her as long as you dont appreciate what I give you, I cant be my sister, I can go and on and on, my mom quarells with everyone, my dad, my siblings, she doesnt know how to communicate or speak to a grown child, yet she claims you are challenging her or being rude to her. All my life, I have never had that mother to daughter relationship because you tell her something today, she insults you with it tomoro. How can a mother tell you that anytime my lover calls me, she feels so disgusted that what am doing with such a low class,
My mother is someone who doesnt know how to make sacrifice for her children without complaining, even cooking, she complains that I cant go to work and expect her to cook for me, how much am I giving her at the end of the month. Should a mother say this to her child.

Ok what broke the camels neck yesterday was after work, came in so tired and sick, without even relaxing, my mom was telking me to take the gas out for filling, this was something dat finished since morning bfr I left for work. How did I get so unlucky, if you have a mom who is your friend, you are blessed. I cant really blame her. Her mother was also absent from her life, she lacked parental love.

I have a big problem � I separated with my wife because she was a witch and the cause of my downfall. I had the custody of our daughter who is now 1 years 6 months old.

After getting rid of the witch I taught my business will be better than before but no. Things become even hard for me I started experiencing body pain and unknown sickness and we have been to church where I was told my daughter Is a witch her mother has given her the mission to kill me.

After prayers and fasting my health is getting better now and I have been to 2 different churches just to confirm that my daughter is a witch and yes it is true. This is an issue? To the extent of concluding what she thinks of him? Let's say for example? There is an emergency that involves him or he is incapacitated, who is she suppose to call? Or he is unreachable when away from them, who should she call? Most times, emergency call number decision is usually for someone living far and nearest vicinity in case there is an issue at the home front, again, what if she knows her husbands number off hand? He should discuss this with her.

It does not still solve it all. Most states are lazy to attract investors because they know that the sharing formula does not require them to do much whereas other states like Lagos and Rivers are busy attracting foreign investors..

Obviously South West alone generates the most of the VAT being share. More reason why regional government should be considered. Apart from Kano and Kaduna from the North, others are nowhere to be found and ain't doing much to bring investments.

Hello Nairalanders. I got married late last year.
Even though I got married late, I.made sure I was gainfully employed before taking the giant stride
I love my wife and she loves me too. I carry 98 % of the home responsibility, recently, because things are on the high side and my wife is working as well, I told her to be taking care of filling the gas while I handle other bills.
I have observed that anytime I go near the gas maybe to make food or boil water, she will remind how expensive gas is right now, after all, if it finishes, I won't give money to fill. These words hurt me alot as this is the only thing you do for us in this house. I know how much I pay for rent, DSTV etc with other utility bills.
My thoughts now are;
How do men which their wives are feeding them cope with insults and embarrassments that come will every meal?
How do unemployed/ underemployed men cope?
What if anything happens with my job, will I be able to stay in a verbal abusive home?

Like it or not 90% of Nigerians are fraudulent and love quick money. I applaud the CBN from banning black market because they are the once increasing the dollar for no reason. This are my suggestions.

1. Banks should now have dollar account for customers.
2. Customers should be able to transfer naira to that dollar account and it will credit using the official rate of #410
3. Restrictions should be placed on that dollar account by which customers cannot witdraw more than a certain amount at a time.
4. Traveling customers who want BTA and PTA should transfer the money directly from their dollar account to their foreign account but the money will be in ledger and will be fully credited when the airline operator confirms the persons arrival to the country.
5. CBN should lunch payment on arrival policy for those who want to import goods.
6. Those who want to import large goods should inform the CBN, lodge the money into CBN, who will then pay for the goods once they arrive Nigeria.
7. Anything that can be produced in Nigeria should no longer be imported.
