Visa approved today at the Lagos Consular office at window nine.It was a verbal war between myself and the oyinbo guy but at the end of d day,he issued me the visa cos he has no option. The booth nine guy is d only one attending to Non-immigrant applicants and he denied a lot of people but with the grace of God, I got my visa approved through him.

Yeah, I suppose you have some prerequisites to take before you commence your masters program, right? if asked, tell the V.O that with conviction. oh, just remembered I didn't include this in my transcript.... she (V.O) asked me to mention 5 prerequisite courses I would be taking; I knew them so I mentioned 6. so endeavour to do research on the courses you'd be taking cause you might be asked. Had my interview this morning by 6:30am @vi and was denied.

Me- Murray state university is a public institution found in 1942 and located at Murray kentucky.... den he cuts me

ME- No

Me- Murray state university, cleveland state university, university of Houston 
Vo- So why did you choose Murray 
Me- because of it balance in Theory and practice and am also fond of some of it professor.

All he had to do was defer. I guess there is no biggie
as the visa issued is for two years. Congrats on getting

get a letter from your school that you would be resuming a little bit late and you should be fine. Pm Mrmann he has link on how to go about paying in Cotonou. Or you can go to seme border they pay there

Hello everyone, I'm new to Nairaland. I don't know if my question has been answered before because there r so many pages to sift through...I beg for someone to answer me. I'm confused about something; my brother; US citizen has applied for a masters program for me and he is the sponsor and his name is on my I20 as my sponsor. I want to know if this is going to be ok when I go for my visa interview and not reduce my chances since he's a citizen n they might think after my studies I won't wanna come back n rather stay back with him.
