Christianity EtcRe: My Pastor Justified Taking Another Wife With Scripture, Is He Right? by MrMcJay(m): 7:14am On Sep 06, 2015
Tell your pastor that the person who wrote the Book of Galatians didn't marry. What about Prophet Hosea that marred a prostitute and didn't divorce her?

The Bible is a two-edged sword. It would take some to heaven, but misuse and misinterptation of the scripture would take many to Hell.

Let your pastor practice polygamy if he likes, your goal is to make heaven. After all, are there not pastors smuggling arms into the country?
PoliticsRe: Buhari Has Committed Impeachable Offence - Ezeife by MrMcJay(m): 6:58am On Sep 06, 2015
I don't know why an elder like Mazi Ezeife would start making noise like an old Bedford lorry.

At this stage of his life, he should be a repertoire of knowledge for the country and not just engaging in hungry requests and empty threats.

You have elected representatives from your constituency at Abuja, kindly tell Ekweremadu or Saraki bobo to mobilize them to initiate impeachment proceedings against Buhari.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: When The Employer Wants You To Be 25years With 9years Experience by MrMcJay(m): 2:42am On Sep 06, 2015
This reminds me of a true story I heard.

The governor of a state here in Nigeria ordered teachers' verification exercise and in the course of the exercise, it was revealed that the Governor's friend's Dad who was an headmaster for more 15 years had so chopped off his age that when they analysed his case, he was older than his first son by just a year!
PropertiesRe: Don't Be A Victim. Investigate Every Property Before You Buy Any Land This Year by MrMcJay(m): 7:01pm On Sep 05, 2015
back2sender:
This is directed to the Lawyer or anyone that has informed knowledge about land issues.

I bought a land from the family surveyor which apparently the land he sold to me and a few other people was his payment for the work he did on the land for the family.

I have the family receipts because the surveyor told me upfront that I have to reach out to the family for this and also pay the foundation money to the head of the family and no one else, he said i should not pay to his children, cousins or etc because they will chop my money and the other family members will not be aware of the transactions.

The family head called 2 of his brothers together with the people that followed me as witness of the payments ( 150K) . 150K was the foundation fee per plot in the area in Igbojiya Village behind Imalatealafia townIbeju LGA. i was not disturbed during the construction of my house except for those touts on motorbikes who came once to ask for settlements from the labourers with the saying that they are not disturbing me but the labourers needs to settle them for working in the area.

the same surveyor did my survey papers for the land I bought, my question is who do see for the deed of assignment in such a case, is it from the family or the surveyor i bought the land fromhuhhuh.

Thank you
Your lawyer is to prepare the Deed of Assignment and have it signed by the Family.

The signatories from the family side must include the Family Head, Family Secretary and two or more principal members of the Family.

If possible, since there are so much controversies on this project, I suggest you meet with Brabus, reach an amicable settlement as to refunds for undone work and get a professional to handle the project.

Also, let officials of the Lagos State Building Control Agency meet with Brabus and let him tell them the explanations he told you.

Please, save yourself the daily headaches and get the project rescheduled ASAP.

What buhari is doing is illegal and should be condemned, why are you lots keeping quiet, as if what igbos are doing are illegal! some people took, ekweremadu to court, so why not buhari? is he god? we don't worship man!!
Thanks for being civil. However, it is the duty of the Courts to declare an action such as this illegal.
Meanwhile, there is a thin but strong line of primordial sentiments running through the three claimants in the instances I mentioned.

Read the highlighted part of my initial post and you would discover what spurred this man to institute such action.

Meanwhile, when TA Orji sacked non abia civil servants, why didn't these belly activists sue him?

torkaka:
An anti-corruption crusader, Ifeanyichukwu Okonkwo has filed a suit before the Federal High Court sitting in Umuahia, Abia State, challenging the constitutionality of the appointment of Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali (rtd) as the Controller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service, by President Muhammadu Buhari.

In a statement of claim, Okonkwo who is also the promoter of Movement of Voice for Democracy (MOVERS NIGERIA) told the court that the purported illegal appointment of Col. Ali to the office of the Controller-General affects his business interest and is tantamount to a treat to his civil right and obligation by forcing him to deal with Ali an illegal occupant of the highest office of the Nigeria Customs Service.

He added that, “That as a political leader with many relations and friends who are involved in various manufacturing business, the brewery industry, general importation of goods, within the south-east zone and in Lagos south-west zone, and by virtue of these businesses his relatives have constant financial dealings with the defendants, particularly the 3rd defendant NCS and have interest in the appointment of the 4th defendants Col. Ali (rtd) as the head of the NCS.”

As Nigeria citizen, a tax payer and an anti-corruption activist, Okonkwo said the complaint against the defendants for breaching the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria, in the purported appointment of the Col. Ali (rtd) as CG of the NCS is a duty imposed on him by the constitution of Nigeria to expose corruption, impunity and act ultra vires of the powers of the public officers including the President of the federal republic of Nigeria.

Okonkwo, however, said that by the irregular and unconstitutional appointment of Col. Hameed Ali (rtd) an outsider to head the NCS after retirement from the Nigeria Army 20 years ago, has an input of the Arewa Consultative Forum and a northernization agenda, considering that President Muhammadu Buhari is a patron of the ACF.

In January, Max Ozoaka sued GMB seeking to disqualify him from the 2015 Polls.

A few days ago, Mr. Dim-Udebuani Marcel sued Buhari for failing to include a particular group.

Now, Ifeanyichukwu Okonkwo is suing for appointing Hameed Ali as the Customs Boss.

My question is this: is this how these guys are gonna wail till 2023?

Similar to the story below (VANGUARD,11 /May/ 2015)

"The reality of life has dawned on out-going President Goodluck Jonathan as he lamented, yesterday, that his so-called friends have deserted him having lost the last presidential election to the opposition All progressives Congress (APC), candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari.
Speaking at a thanksgiving and farewell service in his honour at the Cathedral Church of the Advent, Life Camp, Gwarinpa, Abuja, President Jonathan said, however that he expected more of his friends to leave him". shocked shocked shocked

rochas is donating tax payers money to thoes who have enough undecided
The first part of your post shows the way you were trained. I'll skip that.

The latter part of your post shows your ignorance. Those vehicles weren't donated. They are official vehicles given to the judiciary for the use of the Magistrates. They belong to the pool of Imo State Judiciary and not to magistrates in person.

Are you high on Rochas's cum or what? huh shocked
Is it Rochas's personal money he's donating or Imo people's? Use your senses please. I said so cuz Bill Gates is a billionaire who donates his hard earned money and therefore shouldn't be compared to a fooool who donates cars, from Imo state treasury, to people who can afford 2 to 10 cars.

Now lemme ask, has he paid the 13 months salary owed to workers? You all should stop being wicked and mischievous just because you benefit from him directly.
I won't retaliate your bad manners, I'll address the little substance in your post.

Those vehicles are for official use and not given to the magistrates in person.

Secondly, Rochas didn't need to make noise about it as he is only doing his job.

Thirdly, I I'm not responsible for your frustration, kindly take it elsewhere.

Thank you.

Things like this shouldn't be news as they should be matters of course. The CJ too to go there hand in cap to collect the vehicles. Nonsense.

He should send the Chief Registrar or someone else to collect the vehicles. They aren't gifts, they are equipment necessary for proper functioning of the judiciary.

The Nigerian Customs Service is the best advert for corruption worldwide and this new appointee knows what he is up against. It is one man against a whole force.

I pray God grants him the strength to tackle those pot-bellied Customs Alhajis that confiscate and bury frozen chicken in d afternoon and the frozen chicken ressurects at Oshodi market at night.

Now that Immigration recruitment has been suspended, what alternative arrangements have been made for those disengaged operatives trained in the use of firearms?

I suggest the FG should have something like a reserve so that whenever any sort of recruitment is to be conducted into the military or para-military forces, they should then be drafted there.

PMB fighting corruption like an old soldier; blocking all bank transfer to abroad and a tough restriction on MoneyGram, one person can only send 921 dollars in every 3 months. Not considering international students who will pay school fees and businessmen. I believe the restrictions won't stop those big thieves but only making life difficult for ordinary people. These are not the change we voted for, you all know thieves go after them directly and stop making life difficult for other genuine citizens.
Please, stop derailing this thread. It is meant for intelligent discussions and not infantile tantrums.

Lalasticlala, do you agree with the judge?

What impact will this have on Rivers and Akwa Ibom petitions?
In all honesty, no one can predict the outcomes of those two as no two matters are the same. Even if they were, the court has a way of 'distinguishing' between the two cases and deliver divergent judgment on two similar matters.

Hence, it's not yet sure for any of the parties.

The solution is not rubber gloves. The solution is PROPER LOCK OUT TAG OUT.
The energy source to that entire area should have been isolated and locked out with the technician working on that line being the only one able to remove his tag and put it back online. Management should be punished for this because they are responsible for that mans death. They probably have no safety protocols in place. This was an avoidable death.
If only this man's family could sue IKEDC, they would get an out of court settlement in tens of millions, Guaranteed!!
