PoliticsRe: IGP Confirms Forgery Of Senate Rules, Says Saraki, Ekeremadu Have No Immunity by MrMcJay(m): 11:53am On Aug 05, 2015

Ethic /noun 1(ethics) (pl.) Moral principles that control or influence a person's behaviour: professional/ business / medical ethics . to draw up a code of ethics
2. (Sing.) A system of moral principles or rule of behaviour
This is used unofficially in every organisation. This should have been respected by those that submitted the petition. It guides and keeps all members on both sides of the divide in check. Diagolue would have been a more favourable tool in the place of the legal angle because it is more likely to produce results than squabbling. Just take a look at the Gbajamila affair, the moment he opened up the channels for dialogue, things started moving in his direction.
And for the likes of you, take this as a lesson
Etiquette / noun(U) the formal rules of correct or polite behaviour in society or among members of a particular profession
Are you aware that it is an offence for someone not to report an offence when he has knowledge that it has been committed? Kindly check up "accessory after the fact".
Don't just copy and paste things here, you aren't talking to illiterates.

hinwazaka:
Such is uncalled for. Just make your point in a pragmatic manner. The fact is that this is a case of ethics. Whoever submitted the petition was wrong and should have resulted to dialogue than taking this to an external party. At the end of the day this matter will be settled politically and that is the fact
Dialogue for a criminal case of forgery? Better keep quiet and don't embarrass yourself before the whole world.

Oya Saraki bobo, o fe lo kirikiri bobo...

Between Saraki and his wife, I wonder who is going to land in prison first.

By the way, when Saraki is in prison, who's going to bring food for him considering that his wife would also be serving her own sentence?

The patients are clustered in the room like prisoners. They should at least space them if they can't get air conditioning.

Good move by the Governor though. May his tenure bring blessings to Abia State.

Why don't you first remove him before talking about another round of elections!!! What if you even succeed in removing(virtually impossible anyway) and the like minds decide to elevate Dino Melaye or even Ekweremadu to the seat what will you have achieved?
Virtually impossible? Like it was impossible for Jonathan to lose?
It is better Ekweremadu is on that seat than for Saraki to be there. Saraki is going to be made a public scapegoat and not even you can stop that. The only thing you can do is to come online and wail.

I won't be too surprised if Ekweremadu decamps tomorrow and Saraki is left in the lurch.
BusinessRe: Your Biggest Market Is In Nigeria :NIGERIA NEEDS TO LEARN FROM INDIA by MrMcJay(m): 9:02pm On Aug 02, 2015
Between 2005-2007, I was in Aba and was a regular customer at Ariaria International Market. There, I saw people import trailer-loads of shoe parts and right there in the market, build very beautiful world-class shoes. These shoes were then exported to neighbouring African countries for sale.

Back then, I had a beautiful pair of Timberland boots I bought for N24,500 at LOP in V/I. When I got to Ariaria, I saw better designed boots at 3,500.

Fast-forward to 2013, I was at Abuja Law School for an assignment. There, I met a man who informed me that he works in one if the Federal Ministries but has a side business which makes him hefty profits. He told me that what he does is to get people to make Barrister's wigs and he buys the machines for production. Once produced, the finished wigs are exported to the UK. In the UK, they are branded, given fancy packaging and sent back to Nigeria as 'foreign' wigs.

He confessed that Nigerians are suckers for foreign products and if they see made in Nigeria tags, they feel such products are inferior.

Beyond agriculture, there is nothing we use in this country that we cant produce. The question is: are we patriotic enough to buy them? After all, the FG imports NYSC boots and kit from China!

If Saraki is removed by any means, who becomes the new SP? Ekwerenmadu or another round of election?
Another round of elections would be conducted. Ekweremadu was elected as DSP and not SP. The promotion isn't automatic.

Its the truth because it is called the Moment of Truth? Its the truth that he was a pisspour lawyer but tells everyone now that he quit because he couldn't tell lies. Or that his beneficiary warned him about hanging out with his own son who was a childhood friend of the pastor just because he was lazy and the good pastor was industrious. Mr Bakare has managed to rewrite his past so that brainwashed people will see him in a different light. Mr Bakare is a firestarter. So therefore he will lead any protest without sparing a thought on the rightness of their cause. Mr Bakare merely latched on to the Jonathan presidency campaign just to appear on the papers. The real work was done by Anyim Pius Anyim and Bala Mohammed who were both rewarded for their loyalty. And FYI: The only reason the GMB/Bakare ticket didn't fly was due to the incompetent democrat American fools who underrated the popularity of Jonathan. This they learnt and acted on prior to the 2015 elections. End of story
Bakare latched on just to appear on the papers?
Where was Bala Mohd and Anyim when Bakare was tackling Abacha? He did that too just to appear in the papers abi?

I have no comments for you.
Good night.

Mr Tunde Bakare's mediocre personality is known to all and sundry, even his own son blurted it out during a heated exchange between them. If not for the timely intercession of his daughter he would have disowned his son. So FYI: I have been a regular viewer of his one hour "specials" since I was a kid. His show speaks volumes of his loudmouthed, narcissistic nature. They could be best described as caricatures of the self brainwashing TV programmes of Kim Jung yeol and Chavez. The man is nothing but a disaster waiting to happen
PS: whatever you think of me I wish the same to you too
PMB knows Bakare personally, but you don't.
PMB has worked with Bakare but you haven't.
PMB is comfortable working with Bakare, but you aren't.

I dare say that you have no hard facts to discourage PMB from working with Bakare or otherwise. Keep your sorry opinions to yourself.

You say Mr Bakare is narcissistic but where was your sorry self when his SNG fought for Jonathan? Were you not hiding at home when he led the fuel subsidy protests?

Your information on Bakare come from third-person narratives, fables and old wives' gossips. Please, don't pollute the webosphere with them.

Are they not aware that there is a strong correlation between Idol/demon worship and backwardness. What a people!!!!

I don't know where you are from, but it isn't as developed as Lagos. In metropolitan Lagos, Oro is still a big festival.

In Oniru for instance, they still have their festivals. When an King dies, there are traditions to be observed as the Oba is a traditional ruler.
InvestmentRe: Please I Need Help In Writing A Cap Table And Vesting Agreement. by MrMcJay(m): 4:32pm On Aug 01, 2015
A Vesting agreement (usually a clause in investment documents) is used to indicate when the investor gets full ownership and control over his purchased shares. Before he gets this, there is a Cliff Period which he must surpass to get fully vested of his shares.

The Cap table is a Company Capitalisation Table. It shows who owns what stake in the company. It reflects the share ownership as well as the option poll.

I advise that you get a solicitor to prepare these documents for you as it is a pretty technical process that requires surgical precision.

If you decide to draft them yourself, you may not know the clauses to insert to protect yourself from future litigation when your startup blossoms.

Cheers.

Hungry wailers.

Fayose would dash them two cups of rice with one pigeon-sized chicken and the hungry wailers would endorse him for a second term.

Instead of them to get gainfully employed or learn trades, old men of 50 years and above would be flogged and tear-gassed by police constables at half their ages just because of two cups of local rice.

PoliticsRe: Evidence That DSS DG Is An APC Member by MrMcJay(m): 2:21pm On Jul 30, 2015
When PMB fenced off the DSS, the wailers were crying that the DSS is statutorily empowered to protect the President as Presidential bodyguards.

Now, PMB has made someone he trusts the head of his bodyguards and the puppies are wailing again.

As for the wailing wailers, if you like, make your enemy the head of your security team.

After all, it was PMB who said he belongs to everybody, the DG SSS never said that. The head of Buhari's bodyguards belongs to Buhari, so all wailers should cry louder!

CareerRe: Tips And Guides For Nigerian Young Lawyers by MrMcJay(m): 1:09pm On Jul 30, 2015
The three most important things to any lawyer are clients, briefs and fees.

After law school, you would discover that whether you are a Lawyer, a carpenter or a Professor, you would pay the same price for a piece of meat in the market. Therefore, owo ni koko.

Having said this, you need to determine early enough the kind of clients you want to attract and the kind of practice you want to engage in.

The truth is that before, litigation was the only way to become an SAN, but today, more commercial lawyers are making silk than even hardcore litigation lawyers. For instance, Funke Aboyade and Bimbo Akeredolu (The AG of Ogun state that speaks English, French, German and Spanish).

Also, it is very important to socialize. Be honest, friendly and reliable and you won't be short of clients.

Why didn't she use the trains Jonathan bought?

When Buhari's wife (Present President) was denied the use of the Presidential Suite in Saudi cos Sambo's (Ex VP) family was using it, no one made an issue out of it.

What is good for Okeke is also good for Okafor.

PDP, una never chi chum chin. Buhari go treat una madness.
