Jeferious: [s]Ronaldo is a super player, I admit that. He's hardworking too. Agreed. But I don't understand the hype about his hardworking part. Does he cover more distance than the other 21 players on the field during a match?
Ronaldo is not as hardworking as the media puts it. In reality, he's a very economical player, and he's shining on the strength of others. Otherwise, justify why a player, who is supposed to be at the wings providing crosses and passes for the team's ultimate striker, would always lurking in the opponent's penalty box. Or is he, and not Benezema, now Madrid's top 9?
If you can answer the above question without sentiments, you'd definitely want to take something away from the praises you shower on CR7. Marcelo and Carvajal are the real hard workers. They attack, they defend. They bear a very large chunk of providing attacking opportunities for Madrid, and they are also responsible for making sure that opponent's wingers don't do much damage from the flanks. If you really mean to shower praises, give them their due- lion share for that matter.
I don't even want to talk about Modric and Casemiro: it takes more than being a good midfielder to shut out Dybala. Of course you would ignore Varane and Ramos, because to mark Higuain is a very easy task(rolls eyes).
In conclusion, Ronaldo is not as hardworking as he is hyped. He's more economical with his strengths than you are being told. And he may be the club's highest goalscorer, but not their best player. And that acrobatic goal is not more 'Puskas' than Eriksen's and Ibrahimovic's long range efforts last week for Tottenham and LA Galaxy respectively. [/s]

Okay, with that being said we can agree that thats a fact we can't take away. What we can do then is to work out a plan on that basis to make sure that That does not imply anything significant or serve as a disadvantage to the weaker gender. We have to make sure nobody is abused in the Society because they are Females and that can be done by ensurimg very strict punishment for whoever defaults this. That is what i believe can be done. I think Women need to understand that A man being stronger than a woman is not the Issue, Far from it. That is the fact and can never be changed. However, the important thing is Ensuring No one is Abused or Taken Advantage of because of their Gender. You can Never Fight a Gender war and win.. However, We can try to make the world a better place for Every gender.
Real feminism in my Opinion is To be Championed by Rational People, And Not Sentimental People. Unfortunately Feminism appeals more to Females based on Sentiments other than Logic and this is Has to change Fast Or risk Turning the movement into a joke! |

MANY WOMEN HAVE EQUALLY MISUSED THIS TERM "EQUALITY".
THEY BLAME MEN FOR THE MISTAKES THEY MAKE THEMSELVES AND THINK FEMINISM IS ALL ABOUT HATING AND RIDICULING MEN EVERYWHERE.
MEN AND WOMEN CAN NEVER BE EQUAL IN THIS SOCIETY. THEY CANNOT TAKE UP THE SAME JOBS.
YOU CANNOT WIN A WAR WITH ALL THE TROOPS BEING FEMALES. YOU CANNOT COMPLETE AN ENGINEERING OR TECHNOLOGICAL TASK WITH THE TECHNICIANS BEING WOMEN ALL THROUGH. YOU CAN'T HAVE WOMEN MOULDING BLOCKS AND LIFTING HEADPANS AT BUILDING SITES.
YOU CAN'T HAVE BARCELONA MALE TEAM PLAY AGAINST ARSENAL LADIES.
ONE SIDE IS ALWAYS SUPERIOR, NATURALLY. YOU WILL ALSO FIND THIS IN MOST ANIMALS AND ALSO FISHES.
WHAT WE SHOULD FOCUS ON IS EQUAL TREATMENT, OPPORTUNITIES AND RESPECT. BUT THE WHOLE ATTENTION HAS LONG BEEN DIVERTED INTO STUPID BIASED OPINIONS AND AGENDAS OF IMMATURED WOMEN ON FACEBOOK AND TWITTER. This can never be over emphasized. I Already came to this Conclusion A million Years ago After a Long time of Meditation and RATIONALIZATION and i can't Explain it Enough. However, i still believe Women need to be Given all the opportunities, Respect and Rights that they deserve, Just like every other Human on Earth but The fact that Both Genders can Never Truly be “EQUAL" has to be Acknowledged by everyone before this can work, and with that in mind, We all can work towards Making sure women are not Discriminated At All in Any way because of who they are. This i believe, Can be Achieved. |

Lovely thread Ladyhippolyta88. I would like to present my contribution as simple and understandable as it can be but i still fear some concepts i might use might not be easily understandable but i will give it a try. First of all are you familiar the the concept of paradoxes? i personally call them Eternal Cycles. On an earlier thread of mine i talked about paradoxes as being ideas or Questions that doesn't belong to our normal default 3 Dimensional realm of understanding and as such makes them unable to be grasped by the human mind. i also said "In Eternal cycles, the two Parent forces of life meet and everything at this state is considered One with Each other. At this point it becomes impossible for the human mind to fully Grasp such phenomenons because our existence is on the Third Dimensional plane which is vigorously grounded in Duality"
With being said, I personally believe The key to understanding this question is Understanding paradoxes.
In Our understanding of Reality, Everything is grounded on duality, Opposites or Polarity. Its Either Yes or No Good or Bad Wrong or Right Light or darkness..e.t.c.
But what if there is a State that Transcends this type of reality? What if there is a state where all is neutral.. Where the two polarities become One.. Where it is possible to BE and also NOT BE?... Sorry to drag your mind into this weird Zone but this is the territory of the Question you're asking. The concept of Destiny is a paradox, just as the concept of God and Eternity are also paradoxes. You just can't understand them with the human Reality of Duality and Polarity.
In this case the Answer you seek is also in your question. is Man's Destiny Shaped By God or By Man himself? I say man's Destiny is Shaped by God and at the same time also By Man Himself...Remove the Polarities between Man and God and you get your answer.
Before i go i would refer you to my previous quote on the paradox of the idea of God.
"The idea of God is in itself the Biggest Paradox of All, That's why i Believe when you say God Exists, You're Right and Also when you say he doesn't exist, You're also Right! Duality does Not Exist on that plane you are threading on and therefore on this Plane, The creator and the Creation are simply inseparable, One and The same" |

Billy is an intelligent and smart guy, I'll give him that.. But along the line i discovered that this guy is someone who lives Exclusively inside his head and this can be really toxic and affect your grip on Reality. With all due respect to him, Someone who is extremely emotional and ridiculously egotistic as he is just doesn't Qualify to play that "Master" role that you are looking for, although i have faith that he's intelligent enough to see his faults and weaknesses and correct them in the Future. But his weaknesses are actually that of babies and new comers on this path of enlightenment and i find that really surprising for someone As intellectually vast as he is... but like i always say.. you can stumble on a lot of intelligent information and posses knowledge, but you can not Stumble upon Wisdom. vaxx: To be honest, i really like the idea of Spinoza GOD , at least well philosophically posited than atheism(my opinion) and somehow agree with my paganism faith apart that we still believes all creature springs up from a source that is self independent and unique in kind but the creature he created including every other element which are plant , water , trees and the rest(but known and yet unknown) of the universe has an internal soul force.
well, i believe it is true that all human beings are connected to the material world, science made us know that we are product of element called matter and the same elements that make up the human body are all taken or present in other things of nature.i also absolutely agree, but lets look it this way , When a person eats and grows he assimilates his food intake into his body, he literally is what he eats(we are what we eat)my concept though. But i believe there is much more to a human being than the SPINOZA idea . There is the spirit as well and all of the embedded powers of reasons, wonder and imagination that we human beings have as well. Each of us think our own thoughts, has our own beliefs, reflects on our own experiences as well, fears, hopes and dreams. All these somehow makes us difference individual.i will like to understand the position of pantheism on this concept? why are we unique in kind despite being a product of the same material world? Very intriguing question.. although i wouldn't want to be the one to Answer this question all by myself as i consider Sarassin In a better position to Offer stronger insights on this while i finish it off with my Contribution. So dear Sarassin, i kindly wish you will offer us your insight on this. Thanks. |
Christianity Etc › Re: The Pantheist Thread. by MrMystrO(op): 9:29pm On Mar 19, 2018 |
Sarassin: Sure, if we start with the broadest definition of Pantheism that identifies the Divine with the universe, we can then further refine our definition by affirming that Pantheism is not the deification of the physical structures of the cosmos but rather an acknowledgement of an all pervasive, all embracing sentience or awareness, or even let us say "Spirit" as described earlier. We could also say that this cosmic sentience or “Being” exists by virtue of the fact that the universe has come into existence.
If we consider that, awareness and cognisance of this Cosmic sentience is the ultimate reality, then Tantra is the path to an experience of the ultimate reality. All the great religions of the world asks for your faith and belief in their codified revelations of God. Tantra is not concerned with one’s belief or faith in God, it seeks only to show you the path to an experience of the ultimate reality. Hmmm interesting, Thank you for this. |

Sarassin: Thank you very much. The question you ask is quite loaded, I believe each is a universal truth, change is constant and universal it represents the ultimate expression of Divine will but I would be loathe to diminish the second axiom on the interdependence of things because change is calibrated by awareness as illustrated by the ancient Chinese philosopher Zhuang Zhu who neatly sums it up in the following story:
“Once upon a time, I, Chuang Chou, dreamt I was a butterfly, fluttering hither and thither, to all intents and purposes a butterfly. I was conscious only of my happiness as a butterfly, unaware that I was Chou. Soon I awaked, and there I was, veritably myself again. Now I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly, dreaming I am a man. Between a man and a butterfly there is necessarily a distinction. The transition is called the transformation of material things.”
For me, the Pantheistic ideal embodies the principles of change and interdependence, the material form is secondary this of course leads us to the third and final axiom which is “transformation.” Thank you so much for this. I don't know if you'd have the time but please when you do, Could you please elaborate on the Fundamental differences between Tantra and Pantheism? Thanks |

pan·the·ism- /ˈpanTHēˌizəm/
noun
1. a doctrine that identifies God with the universe, or regards the universe as a manifestation of God.
2. worship that admits or tolerates all gods.
WHILE
Universalism is a theological and philosophical concept that some ideas have universal application or applicability.[ citation needed]A community that calls itself universalist may emphasize the universal principles of most religions and accept other religions in an inclusive manner, believing in a universal reconciliation between humanity and the divine Hmmm. The idea is definitely valid in it's own right... But i think from the Definitions which you gave above, You can already see there are fundamental differences between the two. |

mubbyzhe: I'm not giving God a personality, for I am yet to be sure if He exists at all. However, if and only it exists, we are yet to know, how is He, who or what is He, why is He, Are we part of He? are separate of He? What does He want from Us? and many more other questions. Choosing to be a pantheist, you're already defining God and how he operates, however, I do not believe we have a substantial evidence to say so. Once again, whether you believe in God exists or not, whether you even "believe" (believe that He do influence our lives) in Him, the most important thing is to live this your life to the fullest while it last. True. Thank you for this. |
Christianity Etc › Re: The Pantheist Thread. by MrMystrO(op): 2:48pm On Mar 19, 2018*. Modified: 12:22am On Mar 21, 2018 |
mubbyzhe: Lol, the simple truth is whether God exist or not, neither can be proven. However, if God actually exist, we do not know even a single thing about Him or Her, His/Her true nature, how He/She works, His/Her purpose, whether we're special to Him/Her, whether we're just like minute cells in His/Her body, thinking that we matters, when in the real sense we may not, Perhaps we're just His/Her slaves, perhaps, some of us are just minor characters to His/Her major characters in His/Her play, like millions of people that perished in the cause of David, Solomon, Jesus, Paul, Mohammed, Hitler, Osama Bin Laden, Gbagbo, Gaddafi and many popular men in History of humanity. We may never know. So the best thing is to live life to the fullest, enjoy it while it last, who knows, we might even be like a computer/game simulation, just for the fun of whoever or whatever created us. I can see your point my good friend, But I think the real problem with us humans is trying to give this entity, this Ultimate Intelligence we call God, a personality. I think when you do that, you try to place it in a bracket, like you're trying to make it Something you can Understand thereby limiting the Nature of its existence. It is just way bigger than any personality you can think of ascribing to it Because whenever you try to give something a personality, you do so within the confines of your imagination, Your limited human mental construct. I think that is where the problem with the idea behind your post lies. When you have transcended that level of trying to give this being a personality, then you might come to Perceive it a little better than you do And probably grasp the Idea behind the Pantheistic attempt to Perceive(Note i didn't use the word understand or Explain) This entity. Pantheism is an idea that perceives God as everything that was everything that is and everything that will be And so you can never ever try to fit that in the small box and confines of the human Mind. It is Virtually Impossible. Maybe when you begin Understand that What we call God is something that Should be perceived(or felt) and NOT understood, then you can start your journey into Pantheism From there. Many Thanks for your contribution. |

But believe me you all are one of the most foolish people on earth. I don't understand the reason why a sane human being would believe there is no GOD. Really I still can't get it. You believe these planets just came into existence by itself ? You think you came into this world by mere chance ? Oh I see it's evolution. Fools. You think when you die, that would be the end of it all ? How foolish of you guys to think you're more intelligent than your Maker.
But I've come to realize that most of you atheists aren't that foolish. Deep down your heart, you know GOD exist. But you refuse to admit. Most of you are blinded by resentment and bitterness.
Am quite sure most atheists used to believe in GOD until probably something {bad} happened to them which made them change their thinking. Perhaps they lost a loved one. 0r maybe they prayed to GOD and their prayer wasn't answered. And this made them so sad, disappointed and angry that they concluded GOD doesn't exist. I pity these kind of people
But there are some foolish ones which i refuse to pity. As a result of their sinful lifestyle, they decide to pretend GOD doesn't exist so they won't have to ask HIM for forgiveness of their sin. No matter the number of times you say `GOD doesn't exist', that wont change a thing It won't stop GOD from being GOD. GOD is not APC, HE doesn't change.
I'm very sure you Seun are one of this foolish people. But if am wrong, then am sorry. I just hope it's not too late before you know and say the truth. If u like continue to live in a dreamland and say GOD doesn't exist. You can continue to lie that there're quite a few monotheistic religion in the world, each with their own belief and doctrine.
I won't say christianity or islam is the true religion. All am very sure of is that Jesus Christ is the only true way that leads to the Father. Is your name not OluwaSeun ? But you have refuse to thank GOD for the gift of life. You even have the mind to compare yourself with GOD. Aja to ba fe parun, ko ni gbo fere olode Omo ta n ba soro to n warunki, ko se tan a ti parun. I pray that won't be your lot in Jesus' name, amen. So, e ronu ke pi iwada ke ma ba sonu.
This intelligence which you think you have, who gave it to you ? Is it not the Living GOD. One day you will know the truth and it will surely set you free.
It is when they're about to die that they now start saying 'GOD, if it's true that YOU exist, am begging YOU to please forgive me my sin. Please spare my life, don't let me die like this. If YOU save me I promise to serve YOU for the rest of my life. But it's already too late Epa o gboro mo.
