Nice thread Mr Piyke, I got similar leak on my Honda civic 07, my mechanic has tried to tighten seal on 3 different occasions, it stops leaking for a while and then resumes. I have to top fluid occasionally. Kindly assist in resolving |
Something is not adding up. We were informed the reason pms sells at 162-165 currently is because crude oil is exported to countries (companies) outside Nigeria to refine and bring back as refined product into Nigeria, all transactions in $ and with the current exchange rates, importing will jack the price further up, understandably. Now if crude oil extracted from our soil is given to modular refineries to refine, how does this affect their profit. Will a local company be transacting in $?? I suppose all the hassle involved in importing pms is eliminated thus the final price should be very minimal. Will local refineries be competing in prices with foreign coy, can someone explain this magic. We clamour for local content to save the naira from suffering further, why can't this easily apply to refineries? If the nnpc is optimal, shouldn't these modular refineries be producing for the Federal government at little cost such that it saves Nigeria the excess billions spent in subsidies . |
Kokomo:From a civic owner to another, i give you the thumbs. you know the car well ! |
Good Info Gazzuzz. I try to get fuel from a particular station hoping it’ll mitigate against bad fuel. |
Why the rant mr govunor? Too late sir. Even if it takes 20, 30 years to materialise, the fact is that it is now a criminal offense. What you should do is sensitive the herders to obey the law. Or is he encouraging defiance?? |
Very impressive. We must rise from the "anyhow-ness" approach to anything and everything to get to the point where we hold sacred value for life. I believe OP posted this not just for criticisms nor blame games, but as an inspiration to us all to begin to change our mindset. |
alushkimo:Check the catalyst, if missing could be a major culprit. |
9icetoo:Option 3 most likely. Changed it. Thanks bro! |
GAZZUZZ:Thanks boss City driving mostly: work - home. Got new tyres and needed to prevent a recurrence. Will abide. |
Hello house, What can cause a tyre to get this rough? Pic attached

OilsPartsCars:I read his questions more than once, where and how is his statement a pull down syndrome? He says he is not an engineer on paper. That's a honest conversation. There's more to it guy. |

GAZZUZZ:Big challenge especially that it's off your list. ![]() |
Good evening mr Gazzuzz, Well done on the good work you are doing. Pls my civic 07 is having starting issues. At first it was random delay in starting sometimes after a refuel. I suspected battery and bought a new one, no difference. I then changed kick starter (after a technician tapped it to start) yet it persist. Another tech guy checked fuel pump, serviced the fuel line and changed coolant temp sensor, but it still persist. Presently, this happens more often in the morning; the dashboard just goes off in-between while igniting, struggles then starts on 3-4 attempt. During the day it starts fine. My mechanic suggested it's a relay or electrical function. Thought to consult the guru as well. No check light. Kindly assist. |
adubam:Thanks bro, you are right, it's the lower control arm bushing. Works fine now |
GAZZUZZ:It was changed and works fine. Thanks boss |
Be calm my brother, As a father myself, i will advice you go back and get clarification. These medications always have dosages, for adult for instance it may require 3 times daily for 5 days. Now because it's a baby, they will reduce the dosage to say one daily for 3 days. If its tablet for adult of a certain mg, and your kid needs lower, they may ask you to break into two and give lesser dosage. From experience it's actually the drill, so fright not. To satisfy your curiosity, go back and confirm. Good luck! |
adubam:Thanks man, i'll check. |
GAZZUZZ:Many thanks boss, will check and revert |

Hello Gazzuzz, Pls I need help. My car veers to the left at every/any first move, but when on the highway it goes straight. I have done done wheel alignment and wheel balance and those auto guys think it's okay but I am positive it's not. I understand sloppy roads could cause it to veer right or left depending. But mine veers left all the time - on straight roads, or so. What could be the cause?? |

Lol!!!!! Interesting post.. |
Dear docs, my left eye twitches occasionally, a feeling like worms running inside my eye. I got Aristobet-N eye drop but it still persist. What could be the problem and possible solution? |
Nice one @op How do you config the IP address of choice on your system? Either dynamic or static? |
Nice read bro, I am indeed impressed by your adventure and how you hv portrayed it. More of that guys, let's appreciate our divergent cultures.. Enough bashing! |
Guys, let this be a sort of education for everybody. There is really no sense in trying to evade an arrest or outrun the police. I have read on different instances where these instances don't end well and yet nigerians still try to repeat this mistake. How bad can it be to give in and save your life? Now for those making comparison with the police abroad, the difference is that if an over there officer pulls u over, you stop. That's respect. Unlike we here, we prefer to be stubborn, we think we are smart and we prefer to brandish the police with all sort of names but have u stopped for a moment to accord these men with some little respect? That's what these men need: RESPECT! Accord them that and you'll see the difference in their responses. I sympathise with the families of the victim, and I use this medium to encourage us all to always apply caution when faced with them cos they can do and undo. Its simple wisdom. Now I speak as I lay man like every person here and all my experiences with the police when accousted always ends amicably because I try to accord them their due (whether they deserve it or not) respect their authority. It can make its own difference, trust me. |
Your career should comes first. Dr Myles Monroe in his message titled "Why Men Need Visions and Dreams" google it, there you will get insights into this matter. For a man, it is important you find your vision (work) first, then you can get a woman who will help you achieve your dreams. Get your career, you get a life. It gets easier |
must we nigerians wyne about everything a simple warning system and u take it as a nigerian flaw! we gat issues among ourselves |
I recommend the General Hospital at Randle Avenue, Surulere, Lagos. There have the best doctors and surprisingly, the general hospitals in lagos will recommend you there anytime, anyday. They are well equipped and their doctor's are research oriented. |
