After introducing us to the restaurant yesterday, I decided to try if I can get the complete meal package for just 3 euros (N1200). So I got the meal in pics 1, 2, & 3 for that amount. I even missed one; dessert. Pics 4 is where you drop your plate when you are done. It's more like a plate elevator. It rolls up to where (I think) someone will receive it.

Hadampson:Boss welcome. Predstan nah my oga at the top. It was an oversight that I forgot to tag him. Oga Presdan, your boys for 9th Mile Enugu dey loyal to your government |
prettytasha:The response to your question have been answered above in details (I guess). To give a high level response: Yes to both of them. Most public schools in France are tuition free. However, my school is a public school but classified as an Elite schools called Grande Ecole. The French has some public schools with free tuition fee and then some Elite Schools with tuition fee. For my school, it's 22k euros for masters. 12k euros/year. I am under scholarship and also got a scholarship in the school as one of the best M.Sc applicants. I think they pick one from every department and give 6k euros scholarship that comes as a tuition waiver. I got that and it only goes to my sponsors. Wish there's a way I can get that money. My guys dey wait for me for Ogbete main market. I no fit disappoint them. My point is, make a good choice depending on your program sponsorship. If you are self sponsored, know where to go. Warm regards |
prettytasha:Tomorrow will make it a week in France. It's not been tough because the French is doing great work in intensifying the English language course for French students and the the French language course for English students. Thanks also to my environment which is a student environment. Most people speak English a little. So navigating through the system is not really difficult. However, there are some that do not speak English at all. From my own personal experience, it's been smooth. My school has a language course. We did a test today to assess students level of French language. The test will be marked and students will be grouped according to their level. However, some of us who doesn't know even the greetings got exempted from the test and automatically got enrolled into the beginners class. |
izzou:Lol, it's well bro. It's not been long we left you guys. We only pray we don't meet you guys the way we left you. I am most certain we won't. With a positive mindset as you have, everything will be alright. ![]() |
Joohan:Not really bro. Your pocket comes before anything including your stomach. You must pay before you do anything here. And if you manage to do anything before you pay and you don't have the complete money, nah to add the thing to your next bill or you learn how to wash plate ![]() |
izzou:Yes, quite a smooth one. No stress, everything is so smooth and I truly wish every Nigerian will have same experience not in another man's country but in Nigeria. We were run through the courses and the lecturers, their personality and their contributions to the field, it was so amazing being taught by experts in the field not just by academic people, but those who have practical experience in the field. Thanks bro and how is life over there |
izzou:She's fine. That your wish eeh, nah for your imagination it exist. Oboy, this one nah meal for the meantime. |
Joohan:Not how it is bro. Everything is well managed to avoid such display of the 'Nigerian' in you. The plates are not really that large. Every meal has the appetizer, main meal and the dessert all for the 3.64 euros. For the appetizer, the plates are very small and you can only go ones, same with other ones. For example, the last picture above contains the dessert options. You can only take one and if you want a second one, then you pay for it. Lol. But for me, nah the main dish be my problem. Only God know the way and manner I will get myself filled up for such price. It's like half of what I pay to get a burger and kebab in the turkish shop in my street. |
Student's restaurant. You only have to pay 3+ euros to eat whatever you want once anyway. Good night

Pics 1&2 are lecture Rms
|
This screen here is located in different areas within the school. It shows the current lectures going on in the school and their venue. It also displays the next lecture time and also their venue. You have no reason to miss any lecture. For us, the next 2 weeks is for an intensive French Language Course. 6hrs/day for 2 weeks. There's also a 2hrs language classes every week for the 2 years we will be in the school. Please note that my course is taught entirely in English. There is no French language requirement. However, we were told that for us to effectively adapt and work in the industry in French, we need to learn French.
|
After the group picture, we were invited for a breakfast. Then the welcome address plus other stuffs. Then the lunch. The lunch was nice. You take whatever you want.
|
Today was the induction day. We were introduced to the school, brief history, their achievement, source of finance, and the industries they have affiliations with. I think the stand we saw today is good when compared to the huge tuition fee. Nice school, nice program, and schedule. We were given personal passwords into the school wifi which has a speed of 300Mb/s

seunmohmoh:You have to wait until you are done with NYSC. This is because, the NYSC certificate is a compulsory requirement for the scholarship. All you need to do as an undergraduate is to prepare yourself to get the minimum requirements. Try to make first class or atleast high second class upper. Get awards, try to publish your undergraduate project. That's it. |
seunmohmoh:It's a function of when you will graduate and when you will finish your NYSC. |
izzou:Bros, a MoG like me knowet not what thou sayet. ![]() My own nah to network. Soon, I go find one 9ja babe |
safex:Thanks bro. I will always update the thread |
seunmohmoh:Just be on the look out for the thread. It will come out in December. It's usually a very simple application process. But before then, please look for the thread, get all the requirements ready. |
Joohan:Personally, what I know is that one must have atleast an upper degree, however, I am sure some applied with a lower degree and got it. If you have a powerful Statement of Purpose, a panel of sane people should be able to overlook your class of degree. |
Uzee24:Well, they said your course of study must be able to solve the problems of the petroleum industry in Nigeria. However, if one is smart, he/she should be able to configure any course of study to solve that problem. |
generationz:Lol, what will man do nah. You know how many people dey wait for me for Ogbete main market. PTDF money no go do anything. I am trying to see if I can expand my source of income. Once settled, I will write my company in Nigeria and inform them about my availability to work. We will reach an agreement and see how much they are willing to offer. Fiverr is a sure source of income, without it, man for no dey smile for road ooo. |
Geofavor:You nah my boss. Weldone bro |
On Thursday last week, I went to the kitchen to boil some hot water. The hot water that comes from the tap in the kitchen gets quick much faster. In the kitchen, I met this Chinese babe. Asked if she can speak English and she responded in the affirmative. O boy, nah so gist take start. She was smiling, laughing and shinning her teeth as unleashed our Nigerian package on her. She was in a French exchange program that will last for one year. She came last 2 weeks and baba oyoyo just land few days ago. Nah so I collect every identity about her, phone number, instagram, Facebook, etc. Here, it's nothing, people really want to network. They find everyone friendly and opportunity to make new friends. The way they rush party here eeh, you will know that loneliness dey kill them. A system that encourages everyone to be on their own, so why won't they appreciate when someone wants to know them. Me wey carry better binding energy land. I saw different kinds of babes with different structural and topographic build ups ( Shebi nah book I come read bah? Olodo like me, make I no come disappoint my sponsors oo )Same day, she invited me to a gathering of Chinese people ( a small party), I declined immediately with few useless reasons. Before I go go chop snake mixed with cockroach (being funny anyway). She was such a happy babe and with the way we are going, babe is already planning to come to 9ja when she completes her studies ![]() Pictures of our street night view. I think they are very conservative with everything they do here including the lights. lol. Good night and see you guys tomorrow
|
Geofavor:M.Sc bro |
NewAjala:Thanks bro. The camera nah all these small Chinko phones. Those guys wey dey play with pixel. |
lionlee216:Hehehehe, if I am free then boss. Classes starts tomorrow, I will have to confirm my time table and my availability plus that I am very new here too. |
izzou:Thanks boss. Abeg if you know any red line, tell your boys oo before I go fvck up |
I have received few PMs. Guys, I am deeply sorry but I don't have access to the email attached to this account. Kindly drop all messages or questions on here. Regarding the scholarship, it comes out every December and is open to all. Though very competitive, however, since me wey be olodo fit get the stuff without knowing anyone, I believe you can equally get it. I am coming, make I find something chop. |
Just imagine wetin one girl for Nigeria send me this afternoon. This kind of entitlement mentality is one of our worst attribute. Like I said before, guys, if you think if you have a good girl in Nigeria, well, maybe you are lucky when you compare it to what is around, but trust me bro, their goodness is below average. Same goes to the guys too. Like I have to reexamine myself too and decide to be good too. ![]() That leads me to how I met my first two friends. N/B: I covered the background due to GDPR The babe no know say she dey knack hand for tipper wey carry sand. ![]()

Lastly for the day, It's 7:12pm here and still very sunny. My window view ATM N/B: I magnified the second picture (sorry about that)
