frenzyduchess:You should have ignored him. Simply put, Nigerian media can distort information and publish whatever it is that will make people buy their newspaper. Baba lost confidence in such media and it's very bad. Hearing Oyedepo respond from nonsense written and published by Thisday or whatever media agency kills the respect some of us have for Oyedepo. |
I think the president lost respect for Nigeria Media. The rumour over his death being carried and propagated by Nigeria media made him lose hope. I also noticed that we speaks whenever he is out of the country. |
dabocity:I don't understand this comment. It is safer to withdraw using the ATM than through exchangers. Except you have a trusted exchanger, I recommend people to use ATM. He made a decision to use ATM, and I helped him with the answers. It is left for him to make the decision on whether to use an exchanger or ATM. Though the ATM rate is low, its still safer. @op, Make your decision and live with it. |
7ftMan:If you have a make payment option on your payoneer account, I will suggest who will buy your fund at a good rate (N345/$1). Trusted person anyway. But if you want to use ATM, kindly use First bank or Access bank. I would strongly recommend First Bank. For every N20k withdrawn, payoneer will charge $60.11 (this includes the processing fee). When you divide it, you will realize the exchange rate is N332/$1. Kindly select Savings as the account type. Lastly, we have a fiverr thread created by beatzone, kindly ask your questions on that thread instead of creating a new thread for it. |
Corrinthians:And you took them serious? How can someone get a US visa and instead of visiting the US which he got a visa, he jets to UK? I just laughed when I read that. |
lloydtruth:Fiverr already stored the previous face and will use it for the verification. You rushed to change it, well, it may help. Go ahead and use any national means of Identification. or contact support to extend the time with excuse that you aren't close to the ID location. Give them a date, clear your funds and use any ID and pray. |
End time children, God please bring Nigeria to an end and take me (saint) to US. |
lloydtruth:Wow, so this verification is still on going? Few questions before making a recommendation. Do you use a human face on your account? Is this a white person's picture? Do you have orders in queue? Do you have pending funds and funds available for withdrawal? How long for the pending funds to clear? You can buy time and extend the verification period. I am sorry but it's a tough call and situation you've found yourself. |
maclatunji:Immediately I saw that picture, i knew it should be Zuba Abuja. I have been to Suleja shaa, but around that area. You can see this in Zuba too |
Hmmmm make i no talk wetin dey my mind |
I read from sendvalu Facebook page that we can still use sendvalu for $$$ withdrawals. How? Currently, the dollar currency has been withdrawn and can't be seen as list of currencies on the portal. You can only see Euros. Now to make a $$$ withdrawal, select euros, enter the euro equivalent of the dollar, proceed to make payment, enter your card details and your payment service provider (PSP) will automatically convert it to dollar and process the payment. My question is, what is the exchange rate for euro to $$ conversion? |
sammirano:Like I said, in the future, government will understand the need for data unification. Everything including international passport number, voters card, plate numbers, phone numbers and the rest. They should be mapped onto TIN, NIN, and BVN. I say this because I have been at the forefront of analyzing systems that leads to the automation of government processes. I am shocked to learn that banks have access to voters card database. I recently opened a fidelity bank and i wasn't asked for voters card details, I also opened a zenith bank current account and i was asked for my BVN and nothing else. |
sammirano:The emboldened is not true. Just last two weeks ago, i got my passport and it wasn't asked for NIMC nonsense. I did it at immigration headquarters in Abuja here. Also, the NIMC portal verification isn't working. I don't know but government agencies are yet to share data. I know this because the company I work with are consultants to governments, CAC, JTB, FIRS. As we speak, governments don't share data. Secondly, BVN is domiciled in CBN and is not yet been shared by governments. |
Grupo:Interesting to know this. If banks have access to PVC database, then it's not good. They should rather have access to NIMC database and JTB too. |
awoofawoo:Yeah. In the future, they will share data and map everything to three things: TIN, NIN, and BVN. When I uploaded my new passport, it didn't take more than 5 minutes to get the account approved. Everything was very clear on the passport. They couldn't have verified it within that period. They don't have access to our database. Secondly, during bank registration, your means of identification would be scanned with your signature. So it isn't surprising to see your PVC there. Banks are private entities and PVC is a sensitive material. Giving banks access to it might lead to compromise. |
awoofawoo:You used your PVC to open the account. All banks are connected to CBN where the BVN is domiciled. I never in my write up say that bank don't have access to BVN. Rather, government agencies don't share data. FRSC doesn't have access to BVN, JTB too, and customs. If they do have access, most of the capturing would not be done. Banks are not MDAs |
Nice on autojosh |
VillageHead:Every mastercard is linked/mapped to an account. So if you are getting a new one, it implies you are getting a replacement of the expired card for the same account. If yes, it means the address is the same but if it has changed, payoneer may request that you do address verification or convince them via live chat or email while the address has changed. |
Grupo:Lol, payoneer don't have such access. It will surprise you to know that customs don't have access to BVN hence the capturing done during Passport registration. If they do have access, and since BVN is done with capture, all customs need is just your BVN, then retrieve your details which include the your fingerprint and use it to generate your passport ID. Same thing JTB don't have access to BVN, if they do, then they won't be capturing during TIN registration. All what is needed is just the BVN which has fingerprint attached to it. If these agencies do not share data, how do you think that ordinary payoneer, a small escrow company will have success access to live database of Nigeria MDAs? That being said, is it only me that is currently without order on Fiverr? |
Grupo:They don't have access to our database. They are private firms not government. Most government agencies in Nigeria do not even have access to other agencies database, how much more payoneer. If I had changed the image on my voters card before submitting the very first time, it would have been accepted. |
joan1678:Honestly bro, I strongly advise you to go for international passport. some few weeks ago, I was in your situation. I used a PVC but the image on it isn't clear to they rejected it. They also rejected NIMC slip. And I had about $500 in that account. I had no choice than to go for international passport, I paid for express, 30k and it came out in 4 days before that account was verified. |
Fiyinfoluwa20:Sorry about that. Go and do welcome back for the SIM. It will only take a day and less than N500. Then restart the process, this time, you will be in possession of the number. It's worth it |
Ugosample:Sure. At least they will be going prepared. But if someone with a high pay or financial standing like me leaves this shithole to run around looking for green card or dodging from security agents, I think the person is all of men most useless, I say this with all humility. If you must leave, leave the right way, with your papers, etc. The truth is that not all of them over there are better than us in this shithole. |
Fiyinfoluwa20:Use the forgot password functionality. Just enter the email used in creating the account and a link would be sent to it. Click on the link to reset your password. |
Mizwisdom:Honestly. Majority of them are living in Lagos slums. I just pity the op. I prefer living in Abuja than being in her kind of America. I know many people will come for this comment but even while in Nigeria, i make on average $1k monthly aside my well paying Job and a car I kept in uber than brings N120k/month (30k/week). Nigeria will remain my abode. With the money in my account, I can go to any country because i can fund it but then, I prefer Naija. Not going to anywhere I will be spending money while my days are counted like those with prison sentence. |

Funny how the people telling u not to return are mostly peeps who haven't left the shores of Nigeria. It's safe to say they don't know what you are experiencing over there, to them you are in Paradise
