To the new folks asking all sort of questions...will advice you to first google-search your question....like you want to search for people in Troy Uni. for example....Just search for 'Troy University nairaland.com' on google and you click on the most suitable link regarding what you're looking for. damine: Hi people, happy weekend. Anyone here ever get admitted by TROY uni? I've applied since July & sent the required documents but no feedback since then. Sent several mails to international admissions office but they are yet to respond. I've tried to call the office on +13346703335 but they don't answer.Also had/have the same problem o....I applied May...I then mailed Mrs. Stephanie Appleby(International Admissions Specialist) and she said I should resend my credential which I've done...that they school get back to me ending this month....Her mail is sappleby@troy.edu |

meekpie: Can anyone be kind enough to furnish us with a CHECKLIST of typical documents to take to the embassy, apart from the three cardinal required documents ( I-20, Sevis confirmation, Passport).The main ones are: 1. 1-20 from school 2. Passport Photograph 3. Sevis fee Receipt 4. International Passport 5. DS 160 Confirmation page 6. Appointment confirmation Page 7. Visa Fee Receipt from GTBank Supporting documents are: 8. Transcripts. 9) University certificate(if you are a graduate already), WAEC certificate if UG. 10) Bank statement. 11) Letter of sponsorship. 12) GRE/GMAT/TOEFL score card. 13) Admission letters from other schools you got admitted into, if any. Plus any other documents you feel will help support your case. Such as proof of ownership of landed property that indicates home ties. Please note that this is very optional. Joenice: Hey, the simple fact is that Nigerians are everywhere, even in Solomon Island. You'll be astonished when you get to your school and find out the number of Nigerian students there. I love the feelings of seeing guys trying to make it elsewhere. It's inspiring and heart-warming. Boko Haram militants attacked a platoon led by the son of former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo, shooting him today. He sustained serious injuries to his legs and was being transported to the hospital at the time of this report. Adeboye Obasanjo, an army engineer, was a Lieutenant Colonel at the 3rd Division in Jos, Plateau State. He and his platoon were engaged with Boko Haram militants at Baza, which is the village of the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 3rd division when the incident took place. The Lieutenant Agwu of the 234 battalion, GOC of the 3rd Division, Major Gen JS Zaruwa and Colonel Victor Ebhaleme who serves as the Brigade Commander of the 23rd Army brigade in Yola were all together advancing towards Michika when Boko Haram fighters unleashed the deadly attack on the soldiers. 24 soldiers in the platoon were reportedly killed by the militants. Apart from the dead soldiers, the army also lost an armored tank to the militants. As a result of the attack, the army has moved sensitive weapons from mubi to the Brigade headquarters in Yola leaving mubi vulnerable to attack. The town of Mubi has practically been deserted following the closure of schools and massive retreat of soldiers from the city.
