Most Nigerian marriages that experienced divorce are usually due to spousal abuses and infidelity on the side of the woman.Infidelity is easily given a waiver on the side of the man because it's a cultural thing that a man can marry more than one wife, though the harsh economic realities on ground has forced many men to cling unto one wife especially in Southern Nigeria but the part I don't support is when a woman wants to make it a serious issue, when a man that is entitled to more than one wife decides to keep a concubine/girlfriend , then the man would be forced to read the riot act to her.I do not support this ,but this is the cultural reality on ground and until the Government steps in to stop such cultural manipulation the men folk will always use it.

If you consider the economic realities on ground and the fact that in almost 85 % marriages, the men usually work their asss off to cater for the entire family with the woman contributing nothing financially though her contributions at home cannot be equated with any form of financial gratification from the husband.It is then not fair to ask a man to share his hard earned wealth 50-50 with a cheating wife, though personally I will advice people not throw away their cheating wives away into this harsh world with nothing , even if you can't stay with her either but make sure they she leave with something that will take care of her and her wayward life ,after all she is been around for sometime and contributed by giving you moral support.

On the children side , who would want to leave her kids with an irresponsible woman ?

I refuse to accept that bullshit. I know for a fact many divorces isn't always the woman's fault. SOME people nowadays are not willing to make their marriage work...period. They will come up with anything to justify their billshit. If a woman cheats..she is left with nothing but if a man cheats..that woman have to smile in order to eat! That's bullshit!

Why would you have kids with such woman? You know what type of woman you are dealing with after a day with her. If you choose to marry her with red flags then that your lesson to learn!
