El Guapo: You Just quenched my doubts! There are millions more like us. ![]() |
xynerise: It was ours before the baby arrived and still oursIt was the parents then it was the girl's and now it belongs to the baby. Suck your thumb...you will live. I guess. |
Idowuogbo: Na! My child loves fresh air.The men are jealous because they can't suck. |
Pop out a titty and let the baby suck! |
Idowuogbo: Do dey have access to bags like dat in naija? Msteeeew! Na copy copy go kill una.Lol. |
Ladies....imagine men telling you how to wear a tampon. Funny right? Why are they offering suggestions on how to breastfeed? WTF? Many ways to breastfeed? GTFOH. |
I don't think it's right for anyone to dictate what a woman does with her baby especially if it's an infant. I think people need to grow up and stop thinking it's about them. |
Lucasbalo: . It shows your character trying to demean someone because u disagree with d person. What has babaloja and mamaloja has to do with my writeup. You bringing senseless tribalism to where it doesn't belong. I am a man of means by all measuring scale, and I will not pay a dime to get married to anyone. Love is not about money or dowry u pay. It's nothing but extortion. I guess , I grew up in a different culture. Well , its meaningless having a rational discussion with irrational being like u.You shouldn't have to pay for a wife. If she loves you and you loves her....it shouldn't cost a penny. |
Bolubaba: How much are my to budget for an ijaw womanLess than you would pay for an Igbo bride. |
Was in Church today and a lady just brought out one of her vessels; and in full glare of everybody was breastfeeding her baby and i was like 'dafuq' . This isnt the 1st time i'm seeing women do such, question is is it proper? I wouldnt allow my wife do such!
Do you own your wife? |

Babies are greedy and moms do forget to bring blanket. It's life. |
Bolubaba: I want to marry an Igbo girl and I earn 25k per month. How am I going to get this doneMarry an Ijaw....they are close enough. ![]() |
Smh. |
makaveli1: LOL, 'probably ' i said... *i pray u fall off the tower and break ur head I pray your kini shrinks. ![]() |
waternogetenemy: I will let bigots like u, reply ur senseless convo. haba! Ur tribalism pass grade 1. U really need me to name failed marriages or divorce? Even Ojukwu was divorced. U people are so stuck in ur generalisation and trying to put down other cultures and uphold urs as superior in ways that surpasses reason. I don sign out jooor. I will never support or encourage divorce as a culture, but neither will I condemn it. That is the igbo way, love it or leave it.It must not be solely the Igbo way because many Igbos are divorced and many have remarried twice. Many non-Igbos supports marriage until death do part but many aren't unrealistic either. |
waternogetenemy: Nobody is selling anybody, marriage in all traditions involve spending, some more than others. Someone told me that in Yorubaland the bride shoulder the cost of marriage. The case is reversed in Igboland and even today the cost is split between the bride and bridegroom. Try not to sound tribalistic with every thing you say. Igbo culture promotes responsibility and does not mandate anybody to stay where they are mistreated either. U do get igbo couple separated and divorced but not high. Why not remove bride price altogether? The sole purpose was to pay the parents for their blessings in the union. You have dumb folks asking women would they help pay for their price I mean it's like giving the ho money to pay for herself! |
I am glad my mother taught me to think for myself and make no apologies about it! |
makaveli1: the ones who get upset when the girls oppose their proposal are just the immature and low self-esteemed ones. Apha niggaz dont nurse pains cos of a 'no' from one somebody that pro'ly doesnt know what she wants (oops sorry).Let me get this right....if a chick rejects a proposal she doesn't have a clue of her desires? I be damn! (Climbs up the Effifel tower and laughs in Greek). |
larride: Why will a guy be upset because a babe says no thanks, disappointed you might say but upset? Hell no. There are many fishes in the ocean. There are many dumb manbitches that have cried about being rejected even on NL. It's common. |
50calibre: I go try to enter, although I would have to use a nylon bag and gloves for protectionThis obsolete gay. |
No pretend you no enjoy am!
Keep dreaming bish. ![]() |
xynerise: whatever. WinchBish. |
waternogetenemy: jealous? noooooooooo! Divorce is unattractive but not prohibited. The choice is yours and no, Igbo parents don't foster divorce but neither do they expect you to die in your marriage. Just say it is over and walk away. Now can you do that? Will you? Who wants their marriage to end in a divorce or offend the kids involved? It is better to be divorced than dead and that the mentality of many Yoruban parents I know. An Yoruban elder told me that he will rather face shame of his daughter returning home from her husband than to burry a child who should burry him. Just because someone separates from their partner doesn't mean it will end in divorce. Some marriages aren't the right fit and some people make dumb mistakes thinking they are ready. Spousal murders isn't necessary. |
xynerise: *yawns* Chima needs uLame and typical. Chima needs me at work ![]() |
waternogetenemy: Eliminate Babaloja and Mamaloja, that agbero culture is disgraceful. A man must be financially capable to get married, otherwise they have hungry kids. There are poor men marrying everyday. |
Dallas Cowgirl: E no easyI see. |
waternogetenemy: The last i checked, marriage is not forced in Igbo and if u bring a person home insisting on marrying them, wat do u need to be saved from again by your parents? One should expect that u had weighed the cost and know that u would be the person to live with your choice.Who said anything about force and why are you jealous of my compliment to Yoruban parents? ![]() |
xynerise: You are an antelopeHope she doesn't break down cos it sounds like you can't do shit without a woman ![]() |
Good wives are good wives irrespective of their tribe or ethnicity. The problem with bride prices is that some men think they have purchased a property and expect a perfect return of investment. They think paying high prices for a warm toto and garri is worth every dime but I guess for many....love doesn't come cheap. Hmmm. |
Dallas Cowgirl: Do yourself a favor and list them....He is basing a few on a million. |
I like the fact that most Yoruban parents aren't big on "pimping" their daughters and more likely to save them from their abusive hubbies. |
I really enjoyed your toto the other day! Indeed, you're a good rider......Extend my greetings to Mr. Chima
You have bleeped your mother in law? Gotdam...Igbos! |
