Hello everyone,
I am amazed at the extent of information one can gather here. It is better than anything an 'agent' can offer. This is the beginning of my sojourn on this platform and this Canada journey also. I have read through the page and I have a good knowledge of all that is required. Kudos to you all. I have a few questions that I would appreciate answers to please: I am 33 and hubby is a year older. I am aiming to be the PA since I have 5 more points in age and also getting employment reference letters would be easier cos I have had only two employers as against DH's 4. So one of my questions stems from the fact that I have an MBA via distance learning from a UK university. Although my degree certificate does not state that in any way, I am worried that it may not be accepted bearing in mind the extract I got from the CIC site on document requirements. See below:
This refers to a Canadian degree and not to your UK correspondence. Please make sure to write correspondence when filling your profile so you don't get asked for PCC if you don't already need it.
Sorry I have no answers to the rest of the questions.... |

Deebay: Good morning house. Pls for those with children and have successfully filled post ITA forms, there's a part while filling for the children where this question was asked : What's the mother tongue /first language? There's a second one that asks if the child can communicate in English, I answered this one. The only challenge I have now is the mother tongue question. Do I choose yoruba or English? Thanks I think @Kontagious has answered you right. My children speak English but it's not their mother tongue so I filled it that way. |

einsteino: special thanks to all who motivated and gingered me during the IELTS wahala, especially kontagious, Derei, Bimpsy99, elfmann, veritas3, impish, bbaby84, hephgirl, yookus, Dhimmy, Abby2017 and cochtrane . i remember i felt bad that i didnt do so well in my speaking test. the listening test came and i found myself struggling with the matching part of it. Well God came through for me in the end.
my ielts history is as follows
IELTS Academic, 2014.. LRWS 8.5, 7.5, 7, 7 IELTS General Nov 2016.. LRWS 7.5, 8, 7.5, 8 IELTS General Oct 2017.. LRWS 8.5, 8, 7.5, 7.5 (no more free money to British council for english wey we dey speak since nineteen gbiri gidi)
to those who didnt get their desired IELTS scores, i understand its an emotional torture to have to go through the stress again and expend scarce funds... but there is a moniker of one of us that you could draw strength from, it says "slowlybutsurely"
may the odds be in your favour. COngratulations Einsteino...wishing you a speedy ITA and PPR |

Yewwygraceful: Hello Madam,
Some people just try to be proactive but it is not compulsory to upload upfront. I gues people do it upfront to avoid ADRs that could delay PPR. London is notorious for asking for explanation on UK visa refusals from people who did not submit upfront but that did not prevent them from getting PPR.
Do not stress yourself out with worry okay, your PPR will come without issues. I have observed that you worry a lot o. What stage are you at? |

40manlappy: Plenty hidden posts. What have we missed?
@MRSDA: Don't worry too much. Even without ADR, that section can change from "reviewed" to "uploaded" and to "not needed" in no particular order, so one can tell you what is going with certainty. The important thing is that you are making progress. Wish you speedy PPR. Thank you o...make that PPR come sharply...i am not naturally patient..this thing is playing on my emotions...and yes I know it has only been 1 month! |

Good morning everyone,
Hope the rainy night was peaceful for us all.
Please i need information from anyone that's got their PPR and had an ADR.
We submitted an ADR on thr 19th of September and it's been saying reviewed since the following day. Yesterday status changed again to 'additional documents have been uploaded'. I know it means work is ongoing but I'm wondering if anyone knows what the trend is for an ADR....
Here are screenshots of my application page 2 days in a row...uploaded is the most recent one.

megaprince007: I've been a silent reader of this thread. In all sincerity, this is a unique thread where everybody is treated like a family. Its a platform of progress devoid of differences. I hail the seniors and freshers like myself. We shall all get to that destination like the host of others who had gotten their PPR.
Please, I search for my job under the NOC buh my job is not available. I am a PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER with 3years experience. Pls what can I do? Good morning. You will not find NOC for Primary school teacher, you will find for Elementary school teacher as their primary schools are called elementary schools. Check out this NOC (4032) http://www23.statcan.gc.ca/imdb/p3VD.pl?Function=getVD&TVD=122372&CVD=122376&CPV=4032&CST=01012011&MLV=4&CLV=4Hope that helps |

belushi7: Very well said. You just added another point when there is a constant flow of funds from a spouse to another which eventually formed major part of the POF. Its better left out really if getting reference for the spouse will be tough. Good morning people...happy holiday! I'd agree with this. I'm always transferring funds to my husband's account, mainly because i take loans from his credit card but i declared my business as my employment and added evidence for it. At least that will explain transfers from the business account. Not like i know if that's made a difference though....waiting on CIC to move our application along |
