FamilyRe: Argument by MrsInvisible(op): 8:26am On Mar 30, 2019
Good morning. Yeah it's hard for the kids.

Actually they are married nearly 15 years. So yesterday my sister went to apologise and the husband only said that everything is ok now. But still he won't talk to her. Wonder how somebody can be like this.
FamilyRe: Argument by MrsInvisible(op):
You're right. I haven't been there this very day. According to my sis she talked quietly, explaining that the kids should be given a break. Then the husband went furious. That's why she doesn't feel right about saying sorry. I'm just afraid they will break up if she doesn't give in

I told her to talk to her husband
FamilyRe: Argument by MrsInvisible(op): 12:10pm On Mar 29, 2019
My sister told me that she didn't confront him in front of the children, but in a different room. Still he went crazy, threatening to beat her
FamilyArgument by MrsInvisible(op): 11:49am On Mar 29, 2019
Ok. Let's assume, sunday after church husband keeps yelling on the kids 12, 14 years old, about doing house chores.

Wife defends kids since they have done house chores already. Parents have argument. Husband stopped talking to the wife for 1 week, cause he wants the wife to say sorry to him. What should the wife do??

Please give only reasonable answers. This happened to my sister just now. She is in tears and I would like to hear your opinion. Thanks
TravelRe: Nairalander In Diaspora, What Re Your Greatest Challenges by MrsInvisible(f): 1:12pm On Mar 03, 2019
Challenges ... good question

Learning the language, finding a job due to racism, getting my certificates recognized took time. Fulfilling requirements to get a long term residence permit.

Then finding real friends. Most Nigerian fellows do criminal things, better keep away.

Raising kids without family support. It's not like Nigeria where your whole family lives around the corner. Here everybody minds his business. If your kid is ill you gotta stay home, which causes stress at work sometimes.

And now the good sides:

Electricity and internet access all the time, good schools, good health care. And people are nice too if you understand the system.

May GOD ease our affairs in home or abroad.

Please Check my signature if you can help me to get work Abroad cause the my job is no paying here. I always hope that all shall be well one day and i keep on pushing.
Happy Sunday to you. To get a job abroad is not easy, at least speaking for Germany. You will have to verify with German authorities, if they accept your certificates from Nigeria about your profession. You will maybe have to start fumigation and dry clean service company on your own which requires money investment from the start. Since you will have to learn German language too maybe English speaking country is easier to start a profession. Good luck

TravelRe: Help Me Nigerians Living In Abroad by MrsInvisible(f): 6:59am On Feb 04, 2019
Hi. You can study in Germany and stay after studies to search for job. But first of all you need to get student Visa which means you need money. Also I recommend to learn German, it helps in getting a job here.

Choose the legal way if you can.

Asylum seekers will not be granted a working permit and usually they can not study easily. If you seek for asylum, it will take time before you can start anything over here.

Good luck

Hi. You need to take time for your daughter. Show her love, read books together, play ball, take her to places. She is only two but small children forget easily.

Is she happy seeing you?? If not something is wrong. Even small kids can run to their parents without using words. Maybe you should consider moving back with your family....

Thank you but after the verification, how long do you think that my marriage date can come out and if I should have the date and go to the embassy, will they deny me from traveling..
Hi I'm not sure. After verification maybe 6-12 months later, depending on the higher court. If the case is at court start preparing the Visa process

Please I really need someone to help me or tell me what to do ! I am Daniel and I am from Abia state and I live here in Lagos state ! I have a fiancé, who is a German woman ! We met online and we talked and get to know more about each other and finally she came 2017 October and we spent 2 months together but we didn't get married due to at of that time she was filling for divorce papers!! She wanted to help me with a visiting visa and I applied but due to I haven't traveled before, I got rejected!! I believe that's the reason and I was very sad cry and I went to an agent who told me that he can secure a France visa for me (schengen) and I can use it to in France and from there I can find my root to Germany by train and I said Good because I was desperate and wanted to leave with my woman !! But unfortunately it was rejected also due to is not up to 2 weeks I left from German embassy! So I have been struggling with my visa process ever since and my fiancé now told me that we can marry in Germany, that I should write the A1 examinations (prufüng) which I did and I passed it !! I have give her the certificate, my school certificate, birth certificate, bachelor certificate, two photocopies of my international passport which must be issued by the court that its original!! She's about to summit it to there registry ( Standesamt) .. I am very worried because I haven't seen anyone who left Nigeria just like that to fly to another man's country to marry because I don't think is possible due to the record Nigeria has !! Secondly, she is older than me I am 29 years and she is 64years old and age doesn't matter to me but the person inside of you , that's all that matters most !! So they might the age difference between us and start thinking negatively!! So please please please, I need assistance or is it possible that I can go to Germany and marry her after my 6months verification
Hi Daniel. From experience I can tell that getting married in Germany can work. But the process alone involves first the local marriage registry in Germany plus the German embassy Lagos to verify your identity. Later after the result of the embassy Comes out, the documents must be send to higher court in Germany and after that they can schedule a marriage date.

Then you will receive the Visa. I have seen cases where the process took 1-2 years and not always succeeded.

Frankly speaking I recommend getting married in Nigeria.

thanks for your responses so far. is it possible getting primary and secondary schools that teaches in english.cos the kids might not be able to compehend studies in german
Hi. I only know private primary school teaching in English. Usually your kid must enter official German school, it's compulsory. But most kids learn German within 6-12 months. If your child is a slow learner maybe it has to repeat one class, but teachers are prepared and try to assist in every way.

Hi,

i need help of people with experience about working in Sweden.

I heard, that there is a work-and-visit-Visa, so one could go to Sweden and apply for a job.

Has anyone tried it already? Must you have secured the job before going to sweden or will they issue the visa so one can travel there and look for a company?

Im not even sure, if its true, cause i couldnt get much information on the swedish embassy homepage.

Thanks for your response
TravelRe: My Regretfull Journey To Europe ( How It All Started ) by MrsInvisible(f): 10:12am On Dec 14, 2018
Hi,

your girlfriend can purchase flight ticket from germany to nigeria from 500 Euro upwards, so if she stays with you during her holiday, she will be ok with 1k....maybe its better, so you can ask her for marrage right in Nigeria, if she is ready for it. But dont forget, she will need invitation letter from you to apply for a nigerian visa in germany before travelling.

After marriage you can apply for family reunion visa (safe some money, cause you have to pay fees at the embassy).

i dont know about your financial situation. Maybe you can also travel to germany for a visit first and marry her during your stay in Denmark (paper work is easier there and its not far from germany).

If you dont want to go for marriage, maybe you can try student visa for germany. Its costly, cause you gotta deposit 8000+Euros on a bank account before travelling, but you can stay legally in germany and getting to know her better.....

Wish you guys all the best.

Bro, I have a Friend, a german girl, she's 23 and we've been friends for about 6yrs. She just stopped working(was working in an elderly people's home). She lives in kiel with her mom in her mom's bf house. We've been talking about seeing each other for like 3yrs now but we are both clueless, esp the money issue. Last week she was asking how much it will cost her to come to nigeria, I have no idea. She said she has about 1k+ euros which I told her won't be enough. Now my question is, can we do the family reunion thing as we are more or less dating, she only insisted on seeing me physically before she can finally decide.
Can we do the reunion thing? And how do I go about it. I really wanna leave this country
TravelRe: Marriage Visa Processing In Germany by MrsInvisible(f): 10:25am On Dec 12, 2018
Good morning,

normally after verification from the lawyer the Embassy will send all the documents back to Standesamt in Germany. Then - if everything is ok with your documents - they will be forwarded to higher court in Germany to be legalized for marriage.

The court will later send their answer back to standesamt, so the day of the wedding can be fixed. Then the embassy will issue the visa. Normally the process takes like 12 - 18 months, cause the higher court needs time. Good luck.
