SOLARPOWER1:Depends on your skills. Anything from 6 months is possible if you fulfill the requirements like eyetest and first aid course quickly. Next is theory lessons I think like 12, then theory test followed by practical lessons plus test. Driving licence is expensive so better convert your licence here in Germany. Makes it much cheaper |
Goztino:In the western and southern part of germany finding a house is becoming difficult even for citizens. Flats became very expensive in the past years and in big cities even germans need 1-2 years to find an affordable home. I think only east Germany has loads of cheap houses cause nobody wants to move the due to lack of jobs and unfriendly people. (Except in cities like Dresden or Leipzig). |
Go for Netherlands. Is great there, good opportunities available and the school system is fine. Think about your kids!! But there are 2 things to consider: do you understand Dutch? Have you seen a good job opportunity there already?? |
mychellin:https://www.berlin.de/labo/willkommen-in-berlin/aufenthalt/studium/artikel.598345.en.php |
Have you ever met a doctor before?? He never tried to walk?? Please take care of it soon. Most kids start walking between 12 -24 months. |
She has nothing to offer, only her body. So sad to see . Me and my husband were not rich when we met. Now we are doing well with a good house, both working and having 4 kids together. We fought our way up. Today's girls don't know how to work and take care of themselves... |
Tamax:Good afternoon. I would try to call the official number on the homepage https://nigeria.diplo.de/ng-de/vertretungen/generalkonsulatlagos Recently i found it easier to send e-mail to the embassy. They will rather reply E-Mail then phone call. Its info@lago.diplo.de. Good luck |
The deportation process was planned long and known already. There is a german pages showing schedule of possible deportations to different countries. Most people are aware they check the internet https://www.aktionbleiberecht.de/?page_id=10507 |
themanderon:Im not hard but realistic. He wants to live in abroad, so he must be really into everything. I'm living in Germany. Do you think anybody will pity you if you miss your flight or any other appointment?! They will only shrug their shoulders and tell you to face your problem by yourself. Besides if you miss a flight normally you will have to buy a new ticket. I hate the mentality of being sorry for someone, if the problem was caused by not being observant. It won't help. |
Unbelievable.... how can you not check the time... face your problem on your own |
Exactly the way I feel about nigerian church. It turns more into club and disrespects the meaning of church . Go to a church in Europe, you will not see ladies half undressed and no clubbing atmosphere. Instead peace, calmness and respect. That's why I prefer non-Nigerian churches |
sandrawole:I don't know the best country for you. But make sure that you have proof of your husband's dead. It can help your asylum case if you have a proof, that there is nobody to help you in case of return to Nigeria. How old is your child? Boy or girl? Bring documents along with you like birth cert, marriage cert. And so on. Do you have any professional skills? University degree?? |
Normally doctors recommend only milk for the first 6 months |
crackhouse:Maybe that's not the property that one is talking about. But face reality. People who get deported are mostly rejected asylum seekers and hardly people who have stayed long. Asylum seekers usually don't have property like house, car etc because they live in camps. They normally don't have the money to buy property. When they get deported they will be allowed maybe 2 bags for each person, nothing else |
I think most times friends are taking care of the belongings. Worst case the landlord will throw everything away. I know one boy that was deported he was crying lot because he had to leave his newly bought bike behind . The German government does not care |
I truly don't understand it. It should be normal that the husband takes care of his kid, especially when there are twins. My husband and me share everything from working to cleaning to taking care of the kids. It's family management |
[quote author=Adesunkanmi post=79922555]Hi everyone, can anyone share an insight into life in Dortmund please from work to living;basically everything Thanks [/quo https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dortmund Dortmund is a nice city with a good transport system. Many foreigners are living there and there are lots of jobs. Houses can be found within the city and in the suburbs. Only the immigration authorities is strict and not always friendly. In total the city is ok. You'll even find Nigerian church there. (Living waters) |
Go and learn German level a1. Without it they will not grant Visa to you. |
Actually the social welfare system was introduced by Bismarck in Germany in 1860.... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otto_von_Bismarck Not everything is invented in trump land |
Hi. I don't have much experience on this field, but I found this https://pinayingermany./2015/08/20/marriage-fiance-visa-getting-married-in-germany/ If you book the appointment at the embassy maybe sure you choose the right category. Besides you must proof German skills A1 I think. |
Ufranklin92:Here is an article about this town in Norway. Check the pictures, they use mirror to bring sun into the town. https://m.spiegel.de/reise/aktuell/rjukan-in-norwegen-spiegel-bringen-sonne-im-winter-a-930901.html |
Right now the German government deports many west African citizens. Not only women |
I think she is a liar. Did she work in Germany? What about the father of the kids? Did she integrate? After 8 years of stay you can qualify file German passport if you have integrated well. If the father was a foreigner without documents, she and the kids won't get documents either. If he had documents they won't deport them. I guess she had been on asylum since - that's quite possible because court works slow in Germany. So that's the result. |
Hi. Did you check his ears?? Maybe he doesn't hear everything, which could lead to not talking properly. Good luck |
Hi, I've got some information about apprenticeship in Germany. https://m.dw.com/cda/en/apprenticeships-go-begging-in-germany/a-19329543 And https://www.arbeitsagentur.de/content/1478794651750 . If you wish to go for an apprenticeship, you have to apply with companies, government institutions or hospitals etc, depending on the job you want to learn. It's quite necessary to speak German, at least level A2 i.e B1, since you have to go to school and write exams all in German. You will receive a monthly payment depending on the Ausbildung you do. It can be any amount from 300 to 1000 euro.... Apprenticeship is possible in almost every job that doesn't request for university education. You can be a mechanic, a cook, a nurse, a salesman. There are many different types of apprenticeship. After mostly 3 years you have to write final exams to get a certificate. After successful apprenticeship you can get a job with a good pay. If you can connect with a company from Germany, it's possible to apply for the Visa from Nigeria. Good luck |
Hi. After reading about Maggi I went to their online page. They have plenty different ones in Germany, check out https://www.maggi.de/produkte/bouillons If you want to bring food with you, I just read that meat and egg products are not allowed to be carried to Germany, because they could bring bacteria over or something like that. If they find it, they will keep it at airport and destroy it. No joke. |
What's her name?? |
