In the same vain, any expectation that Kagawa will fill gaps is another gamble. Most players who boss their positions immediately make statements on the first season they arrive. Toure, Sylva, Hazard, Oscar, Bale, Carrick, Raphael, RVP, Valencia, Nasri, Ramires, etc. They perform such that the coachhas no option than to play them. Kagawa is not a teenager we are hopin to mature, and Bundesliga is not Premier League.

The planning for next season should be based on real strong players and not expectations.

Are you kidding? How many of those players pulled any trees when they arrived? Certainly not silva who took time to adjust, rvp at arsenal? Bale at spurs in his first season? Even nasri was mostly anonymous in his first season.

We definitely do not need a number 10, we have Kagawa who is perfect for that so I don't think that is an issue. We need a strootman.

Come on, he hasn't even officially joined the club yet. He's making the right moves first as he has to sort out the coaching staff first. Them the current squad, who's leaving or staying then he can access new signings. It's always very difficult to sort out all transfers early. Infact it almost never happens unless you're signing just one player. And even that is tricky if its a big player.

I don't think there should be any cut offs as to when to count titles. All titles are relative to their era so don't see why you shouldn't count some and count others.

The Barcelona ones were absolute killer especially the first final. We started that match so well but we needed to score while we were ontop as Barca scored with the first attempt when eto'o ripped Vidic a new one. Game over.

Funny thing is even the Chelsea final was such a drain with the shoot outs despite knowing the outcome I was still scared.

I really hate penalty shootouts..(when your team wins them they're ok though.)

montelik: kagawa is not a central midfielder. jones has no business playing in midfield unless sparingly as a destroyer. cleverley is solid, but has plenty of room for improvement. ando still has consistency issues relating to his week to week match fitness, performancess and injuries. powell is not a natural central midfielder and has a lot of adapting to do.

Carrick is the only really quality player and considering he is 32, quickly losing what little athleticism he has left, we have to invest in central midfield.

Kagawa's best position is midfield number 10 role. Not really a position we've played him in very much but if given the chance consistently, he'll do very well there.

Vidal is amazing but there is zero chance we're signing him.

Wanyama looks good but not all good players perform in epl from spl. Never watched strootman so no idea how good. I wouldn't say no to Fellini but I'm not overly ever especially as he'll cost about 25m. Banegan is highly rated but again never really seen him. Hope Rooney and Nani stay, if not then lewandowski/Bale and isco or James Rodrigues would be good replacements.

I wouldn't mind Ross Barkley. He looks quite good from the little I've seen of him.

Yeah, I don't think defenders know how to handle Hernandez yet as evidence by his goals to games ratio. His problem is that he doesn't get much minutes and he doesn't contribute enough to the general build up.

Remember those are league stats only not all comps.

Ultimately, I want Rooney to stay.

That will ultimately be Moyes' decision but you cant keep an unhappy player especially one like Rooney.
