Unfortunately I think Rooney and Nani are gone this summer.

I am 100% behind Moyes. He wouldnt have been my first choice but he's here and he'll get my full support.

I think it goes to show that Rooney is gone from the club this summer. I also read about rumours of a fight with Jones ( and Rooney) so that could be a factor. Would be a shame to see Rooney leave the club this summer but I just hope he is properly replaced.

The '99 squad was better but the 2008 squad had the better individuals.

I am actually really excited about next season. A huge change coming and while I don't expect immediate trophies, I expect us to compete and I think we will with Moyes.

It's a little scary as this is the only boss I've ever known and one of the greatest of all time, but I trust the judgement of the decision makers and I'm sure they've got it right.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by MrTA(m): 8:57pm On May 09, 2013
I cant deny he wasnt my first choice but I back him 100%. I have certainly come round to him being the manager and I really believe given the support and resources, he will do well. he's also well known as very thorough and into the tiniest of details and leaves no stones unturned sort of manager. Of course we shouldn't expect the same exact success considering he's following one of the greatest managers of all time. But this is the start of a new era. And I believe with the house that Fergie has built and the structure put in place, I cant see how he wont get the best chance to succeed.

A new era is here. Welcome David Moyes. cool

I'm pretty much 50/50 Rooney going or staying. I think he's definitely gone this summer though. Just hope we get good money for him. I knew he's not going to play under Moyes. Just hope we get a top replacement like Falcao or Lewandowski.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by MrTA(m): 10:01pm On May 08, 2013
Anyone worried about Rooney's departure since he and Moyes dont get on?

n0m0705: Do you think the board have the gut to sack fergie , he ought to have retired last season but he changed his mind after city won the league#according to report# if there is any time the club needs fergie the most, it is now he is the face of the club, do you know the impact his retirement could have on the club's valuation? It is strictly on health basis, they just decided to keep it from the press so as not to destabilize the team during the season
No chance. Fergie's job was never under threat last season. Its more related to health than anything else. Even Wigan Chairman Dave Whelan said it last year that this would be Fergie's last season but we all laughed at him. it was never an option to sack him after last season.

El Guapo: [color=#0066ff]Here's been all my Point On here - You guys are Just a Lucky bundles of Midgets that depend on Refs for Victory, ur winning the League should be an all 'Thank U Mr Refs'

Mnaure have had a number of key moments of luck this year to assist them in their run to the Premier League title.

Liverpool Jonjo Shelvey's red card and Antonio Valencia's penalty decision both in the same match; Fernando Torres' red card and Javier Hernandez's game-winning goal as well—those instantly spring to mind as moments when United simply got lucky.

There can be no disputing that Manure have received several controversial calls this year that have aided their title chase.

That's not to say that the Red Devils didn't deserve those calls, and that the call was incorrect; it's just to say that the vast majority of the close calls have gone the way of United.

As mentioned before, Liverpool's Jonjo Shelvey was sent off for a tackle that many believe Jonny Evans should also have been sent off for. Antonio Valencia later won a penalty in that game for a collision that had minimal contact in it, to say the least.

United would go on to win that game 2-1.

The match against Chelsea was also key, with Fernando Torres being sent off for a tackle on Jonny Evans that again that looked to feature very little contact. Javier Hernandez would go on to score the game-winning goal from an offside position and the linesman's flag stayed down.

United won 3-2.

And just recently in the FA Cup, United were awarded a penalty for a handball on West Ham's Jordan Spence just moments after the referee had waved away similar shouts for a penalty on Red Devils' defender Rafael Da Silva.

United would go on to win that game 1-0.

There are countless more examples for the Red Devils this season to prove that they have been fortunate in terms of those "50-50" referring decisions.

The 2012-13 season testifies that it's true.

Today's defeat a minor irritation. The lineup pretty much confirmed what we knew, the middle is so weak. No Nani and Kagawa was also a surprise while we had my favourite one legged roadrunner stinking up the joint as usual. Love him but you dont hear me though. wink

I'm just intrigued to see what business we do this summer.

On a side note, I dont have any complaints with Rafa's red, love the kid but he needs to keep his head in check and he'll turn out to be one of the best fullbacks around.

PS - CHAMPIONES! CHAMPIONES! OLE! OLE! OLE! cheesy

elampiro: In the whole of the article that is the only thing you saw. Anyway, Carrick is getting better every year. If he can improve on his speed and tackles, he will be the man to rule in the next two or three years. He is great while on the ball, but poor off it. However, this season he has shown that he can also run and chase after strikers. He made and won many crucial tackles. Personally, I will pick Toure ahead of him, but PFA has said he is the best. So he only needs to build on what he has achieved this season to make his mark over the next two or three years left in his career.
While Yaya is obviously a better player he didn't have a better season than Carrick. Yaya is usually a big match player but he isn't consistent which is his main flaw. Carrick is the more steady consistent guy that isn't spectacular or flamboyant but your important and effective for us. Definitely deserved his place in the team of the year.

I'm pretty worried about the fact that Nani gets far more stick than Valencia. Valencia has been borderline atrocious this season but its Nani that gets most stick and gets asked to be sold.
