Been a long time since Ive seen those muppet gooner fans in our thread. ![]() |
Big shame we cant get Gareth Bale. What a player he's become. |
Good game. Strong performance but we really should have taken one of our chances in the 2nd half. We need to play the same way in the 2nd leg unfortunately but just need to take our chances. Ddg was very good tonight. Happy for him. Welbeck was also very good. Shame he ran out of steam. Rooney didn't work in the system and Kagawa was very poor. Everyone else was excellent, thou rafael had a poor first half. Overall, I'm happy with the performance but a little gutted about the missed chances as we had the better clear cut chances. |
adebayo201: Abeg make we talk about CL joor!I'm not really looking forward to it. I think we're both shaky defensively but their attacking strength from midfield and upfront is a little stronger han ours. I just don't want them to school us like Barca did. In the finals. |
SailorXY: even a die-hard anti-man utd knows its surely over nowIt's obviously not over yet because anything can still happen. But we've put ourselves in a great position which is always good. |
Good important win. I was a little surprised SAF didn't sub rvp or Rooney late in the game for Welbeck but all good. Now for the big one. |
The other reason why we should be a little more forgiving is the fact he's still very young for a keeper and still has language difficulties.and if given the chance has shown he has some great attributes. He can develop even more and those errors could be a thing of the past which would leave us with a top class keeper for at least a decade(or more)before he goes back home. Obviously on the flip side he could regress and get sold by the club but who knows? Surely it's best we get him the best possible support for him to flourish? |
Saf will make changes which is a very dangerous game to play especially against Everton who usually step up their performances for us. |
Pretty obvious Wilshere is better than Cleverley. In fact so is Gerrard and Carrick. |
Vs Real, we go 433. And pray the players are on form. I would go. Ddg,rafa, rio,Vidic,Evra,Anderson,Carrick, cleverly, nani,Rooney, rvp. Fitness permitting. Valencia for nani later in the game and giggs for Anderson after 60mins. I'm more worried about Everton this weekend at the moment but Im glad it seems fellaini will be missing. |
I think Cech is the best in the league but last season it was hart. |
There is no way Ddg was the only person at fault for the spurs equaliser. There was a combination of errors from rafael,Valencia,Evra, viidic and Ddg. Why would you chose to only blame Ddg for that goal? |
Phil jones also injured out for 2 weeks. ![]() |
I would play, Jones behind Ando and Clev while Carrick is out injured. |
Rooney just showing that despite RVP, he is still the man at man utd. Which is always good to see. |
I dont subscribe to players who have to be a physical specimen to make it at the highest level. They dont tend to have long careers in my experience. Technique and intelligence I find to be more important. As long as they're not lazy. |
I really not sure about Wanyama or Strootman. Ive only seen Wanyama once V Barca where he was immense. But thats a once off game. Ive seen nothing of strootman so I have no idea how good he is. I would take either one of them though aslong as they have solid steal in midfield, great engine and good in possession. |
Thanks again guys. I have passed your suggestions to madam but they have been knocked out of the park. Im trying to sneak "Sir Alex" into one of his middle names. ( Yes it has to include the "Sir"!) ![]() |
Thanks guys, mother and child are doing fine. Zaha ko haha ni . Unfortunately the mrs is not listening to my oluwavanpersie suggestion. ![]() |
I missed today's match as my wife gave birth to my 2nd baby boy oluwavanpersie this morning. Havent seen the goals yet. How was nani today? And big save dave? |
Zaha completed. Joins in July. |
Both morons. Hazard deserved his red card. |
Please dont even talk about that thug morrison in this thread. The kid got several chances at Old trafford even when all the other youth coaches washed their hands off him Fergie was the only one should held on said said they wouldnt sell him but he never changed. He was let go to West Ham and they saw the mistake they made as well. Kid was destructive and had the totally wrong attitude. It always annoys me when these kids dont understand the type of opportunity they're given in life. This is my last time I will post about this kid again. |
Another pathetic way to blame everyone else but us. Pathetic. Ghanaians and Ivorians don't watch or have players in the premier league. Zambians don't watch premier league? Morons. |
StarBoard: Nobody is mentioning DDG's role in the equaliser. . .two days after.I think he could have done better in that goal but so could 2 other players at least. So it's wrong to blame him completely for the goal. |
Well that was rubbish. ![]() |
Its also looking like Real Madrid are finding their best form just before we face them in Feb. |
SailorXY: Anderson should have come in for Cleverley in d last 10mins, he'ld have policed Dembele betterI agree with this |
montelik: Our final ball, pass was terrible today. This is what i call the Welbeck effect. He does all the good things with the ball but and makes the right runs but has zero final ball or finishing. There's just nothing clinical about him which is a shame but apart from that, good player. |
tough draw to swallow but I cant really say it was undeserved. I thought Rio and Carrick were excellent. Abit unlucky not to get a pen for Rooney. The equaliser was a collection of a few errors, rafa running upfield instead of getting the ball. DDG who was good not punching hard enough and not reacting quicker to the 2nd ball in the box. |
Still cant believe we let Pogba go. ![]() http://www./video/xww2f9_pogba-spherachannel_sport#from=embediframe |
montelik: Check it out http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/picturegalleries/9808659/Premier-Leagues-worst-penalty-takers.htmlRVP's definitely our best candidate for PKs. |
