Torres was poor when he came on. The chance that buffon collected was due to his poor touches to set himself up. 2nd chance was just poor finishing. Luka Modric looking dreamy at the moment. I wont be upset if SAF goes for him.  |

Even at Spurs and West Ham. Carrick's man strength was his passing from deep. He was always a deep lying playmaker type. He didnt always get into the box so there has been no dramatic change in his style and there obviously wont be. |

For Javi Martinez, I meant if he was indeed available, I understand alot of the other big teams would also be interested, City, Real Madrid etc. and if that is the case we wouldnt be able to compete with the Fees+wages those 2 would offer if it came to that. I think Tiote is a decent player but if we should show interest, straight away his value would almost double (£20M ish) and I dont think he's good enough for us to pay top cash for. |

Modric is a more box to box type CM. The Kagawa signing doesnt change the impact a player like that would have in our squad. We arent singing M'Vila, as there is nothing to indicate we are even looking at him. Again, Hopefully not Tiote as Im simply not a fan. Javi Martinez is a pipe dream as if he is actually available we would easily get priced out.( Fees and Wages). Im hoping SAF can pull something off in midfield, i really do. otherwise, not expecting much for the coming season. |

Kagawa is a totally different type of attacker to Nani and Valencia. Maybe Young is abit more similar style but not really. Im not saying he's better than them but he's not worse and he's a different style so he could bring something else to the team. |

Im fairly happy with the possible Kagawa signing. I certainly feel we could do with some unpredictability in the team's attack. Which is something he would bring. We dont really have anyone in his style currently at the club. |

If he wants to leave then he will be sold, no need for silly headlines. This is just the papers blowing stuff out of proportion (like they did with Vidic's negotiations).Yep, Im really not worried about it. I believe it will get sorted. |

afrodoc: well i agree there are more pressing issues,in central midfield for instance.however we don't know how much has been made available for transfers and we dont know for certain how many more players will b bought this off season.if United buy 2 more players dis summer it should b 2 midfielders,however if we hav 3 more additions it should be 2 midfielders AND a left back.if you remove de gea's early season gaffes patrice evra was culpable for more goals than any other player in d squad.thats nt gud enuf for our starting left back n vice captain.I think a striker is also more pressing than LB considering we're losing Berba and Owen. |

Swiftkey x - best keyboard for me Tapatalk - shame this forum isnt compatible but its an awesome forum reader. Titanium backup - awesome tool especially if you root and use custom roms. Whilst I agree his performances have deteriorated, a LB replacement is not a pressing issue (yet) and I wouldnt be best pleased if we spent £18M replacing him. An understudy to challenge him might be required but not a replacement. |
