Congrats to Inter and the fantastic Jose. Respect to that man.

Milito with 2 very good goals. Although Bayern's defending was pretty shocking.

I bow to down Samuel Eto'o who has secured 2 trebles in a row( 3 Champions league titles overall). I think he must have to build a new medal cabinet.

Hopefully SAf will take heed and see the improvement the squad needs for next season. Especially if Jose goes to Real Madrid.

SAF has already signed a Mexican striker called Hernandez. He's pretty much confirmed there will only be one more signing at the very most that he's very happy with the squad he has.

So I would suggest not getting your hopes up for anything.

Im not optimistic about any strikers coming in really.Especially since we already signed the mexican striker Hernandez.

Ideally, I'd love a goal scoring attacking midfielder that can occasionally play on the wing. Dont ask me who, but we definitely need 15+ goals from a midfield player. Players like Lampard are like gold dust. Hopefully SAF unearths one from somewhere, hopefully NOT from the world cup as they tend to be abit of a false representation.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread! We Are The Red Devils! by MrTA(m): 8:41am On May 04, 2010
There is zero chance of Robben signing for Man utd. Of course we would have loved a world class winger like him but that ship has sailed and he will always be the one that got away from us due to Kenyon moving to Chelsea. He would rightly cost upwards of £40M which we simply dont have.

Unfortunately, it wont come down to a chance missed in one game when you consider both teams have lost 7 gaes this season. No way you can blame Valencia or Kalou.

Andre Uweh:
Mark Hughes was a former Man U Captain and now at Sunderland. He will be happy that his former team wins. As a result, the most thing to happen to Chelsea is to win on sunday vs Liverpool.
You obviously have no idea who mark hughes is.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread! We Are The Red Devils! by MrTA(m): 2:02pm On Apr 26, 2010
Shame Stoke spread their ass cheeks and took it from Chelsea. I had a little more hope they would hold Chelsea then Liverpool who Im sure would prefer to finish 10th so Man utd dont win the title. They will also take it from behind against Chelsea next week. Oh well. Just concentrate on winning our games and hope for the best really.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread! We Are The Red Devils! by MrTA(m): 9:17pm On Apr 18, 2010
Shame Torres is out for the rest of the season. We needed him to help take points off Chelsea.

Nothing wrong with Neville's kiss on Scholes, I would kiss the ginger ninja as well if I could. grin

Maybe Arsenal and Chelsea players want to take a queue on how to get a winning mentality cool
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread! We Are The Red Devils! by MrTA(m): 10:34pm On Apr 17, 2010
Great weekend so far. Obviously very pleased with the win.Rooney's lack of match sharpness really showed and it very nearly cost us. I thought we were the better team but not by alot. We also missed some very clear chances.

Im still not happy seeing Gibson in the team. I really hope Baba Fergie makes some signings in the summer even if we still somehow win the league.

We need atleast another creative attacking midfielder, not shneijder but a player of that sort. unfortunately the lack of funds wont aid that.

Thanks to Spurs as well btw. I just hope we can beat them next week and really put the pressure on Chelsea.
Very strange season.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread! We Are The Red Devils! by MrTA(m): 8:56am On Apr 15, 2010
I no get time for arsenal fans and their petty squabbles right now,They are not our competition. The team needs to focus on getting back some form and then we can hope Chelsea drop some points because them dropping points is meaningless at this point.

Really need a strong finish to the season to have any hope. Hopefully Rooney is fully fit now and not just being rushed back for the derby but i wouldn't blame Baba Fergie too much for that
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread! We Are The Red Devils! by MrTA(m): 8:44am On Apr 13, 2010
Nah wa o, I cant believe Im seeing these Gunners who are receiving regular destruction from us in this thread making fun. Even though they're about to go 6 years without anything. I guess its come to the stage where seeing man utd fail is a victory for you. enjoy that, while we win more titles yeah.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread! We Are The Red Devils! by MrTA(m): 12:39pm On Apr 12, 2010
Tough 2 weeks for the team. Its certainly all in Chelsea's hands. Nothing like a big up coming derby to regain some form and confidence. Hopefully Rio's Injury is not serious but it looks like he'll be out of the derby. Same with Rooney.

It certainly isnt looking like it will work out with Berbatov. We just have to support the guy as long as he's still pulling on the red shirt. its certainly not over but its looks like a miracle is required. I expect Chelsea and Arsenal will still drop point but unfortunately I cant say united wont drop points as well.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread! We Are The Red Devils! by MrTA(m): 8:26am On Apr 08, 2010
Also Carrick was pretty woeful yesterday and surely playing a 50% Rooney must spell the end of Berbatov's united Career?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread! We Are The Red Devils! by MrTA(m): 8:25am On Apr 08, 2010
Bad result but it was a good performance. Shame Rafael had to learn a harsh lesson but i thought he was fantastic till he got himself sent off. Before then We were all over Bayern and would have scored more goals in the 2nd half.

All good though. We'll be back next year for another go at the Champions League title.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread! We Are The Red Devils! by MrTA(m): 6:49pm On Apr 03, 2010
to be fair, United were only played off the park in the first half. The 2nd half they were the much better team but could take their chances.

Certainly agreed with the error from Sir Alex not playing Nani and Carrick. I would have dropped park for Nani but as they say hindsight is a wonderful thing.

We march onwards and its certainly not over.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread! We Are The Red Devils! by MrTA(m): 3:34pm On Apr 03, 2010
Market dey. Na because una get narrow victory you dey celebrate? You all know its not over right?

Bring it on.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Vs Chelsea [1 - 2] On Saturday 3rd April 2010 by MrTA(m): 3:31pm On Apr 03, 2010
It was a fairly even game with Chelsea just edging it. The 1st half performance from man utd was very poor, but 2nd half was much better.

SAF really should have started with Nani. I was really surprised he didnt start and he was really dangerous when he came on.
All good. its certainly not over for man utd.both teams stlll have 5 tough games to play.
Bring it on.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread! We Are The Red Devils! by MrTA(m): 11:53am On Mar 31, 2010
You also need to be reminded this is Manchester united not Chelsea.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Bayern Munich Vs Man Utd [2-1] On Tues. 30th, March 2010 by MrTA(m): 9:31am On Mar 31, 2010
Man utd never scared. What, did you expect Bayern to lose at home? Any team worth their salt in the CL should atleast be winning thir home game just like we will win at home in the 2nd leg.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Manchester United Fan Thread! We Are The Red Devils! by MrTA(m): 8:33am On Mar 31, 2010
I was a good game, a tough game as expected with a deserved win for Bayern. Obviously losing is never good but the Rooney injury is the only real blow. The performance wasnt great but Fergie wont let that happen again. He'll certainly miss the Chelsea game but if he's fit for the 2nd leg i'll be very pleased. I think united will have a great chance in the 2nd leg.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal vs Barcelona [2 - 2]on Wed, 31st; 7.45pm by MrTA(m): 10:20pm On Mar 28, 2010
Iniesta ruled out of the first leg while Xavi is doubtful.

Arsenal might have a chance in the first leg.
