It's good that we're strengthening in the CF position but we really need to work more on other team members scoring goals. We created the highest number of goal chances last season and squandered most of it. After Zlatan, the next highest scorer in the league for us was Mata, and he didn't even start up to 70% of the games.

If we have two or three players hitting double digits apart from the main striker, we'll lift the trophy. Like you, I hope they blossom too, but Mou should start addressing that area of our game.

No we are not. None of our attackers has ever been a top forward that's delivered goals consistently in their career. None! Look at all the good teams in Europe, they all have one person who is skilled at this. Even Monaco with their Mbappe have Falcao. Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool all have recognizable forwards that we know can score if fit (See Sturrige). Only United is the team i know that doesn't even have a recognized CF and one who just scores. Ibrahimovic has left now and that leaves us dry in that area so its important others get the confidence of having a sure goal scorer around to also uplift them in joining in although i for one believed Ibrahimovic although scoring for us was also letting his leadership ability get in the way too and sort of hindering the way others contributed in the scoring aspect. Obvious from how he won't let anyone take free kicks yet kept hitting the wall while Pogba was always close. Even Rashford scored when he wasn't around. It's good the squad is relatively full of young developing attacking players and a young striker with BPL experience and a blend of old matured guys in Miki, Mata, Carrick. They are all going to blossom as they keep improving. Those goals will come, the chemistry has improved and i believe goals will come every part of the pitch this new season.

Well I'm pretty sure in our title winning seasons we've had more than one player on double figures. I never said anything about top goalscoring forwards.

I do feel a little bit that we're missing a trick because our biggest issue is other players getting goals. We need someone else that'll get 10-15 which I don't really see unless Martial really hits again.

Seems Jose gave up on Morata due to Madrid's posturing. Weird that he went for Lukaku considering hia fractured relationship with him Lukaku for £75m isnt too bad, the initially reported 100m was way too much and ridiculous. Still a ridiculous amount of money but hey that's the market I guess.

Michael Keane as signed for Everton for nearly £30m. I hope we included a sell on clause in his contract.

These Spanish players cant be trusted especially if they already played for Madrid or Barca at some point...

No worries. As long as they are happy to pay double and by then we'll get another top player. Its not realistic to expect these guys to spend their whole career with us these days.
